A distraction for the mover

Ana had found it easy to get out the house. The only person there was Jasper and he had agreed to say he hadn't seen her as long as he was allowed round her new house when he wanted. She had agreed, knowing that he didn't actually know where the house was.
Ana smiled when she heard Theo. She ran from the bedroom, down the stairs and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I love it. It's great. Thank you." She kissed and then continued to smile as she looked into his eyes.
 
Theo smiled and kissed her back. " Good good. You know if its too small i can get you a bigger one. I dont mind, really." Theo could never live in a house this small. Although it wasnt small compared to most but compared to his it was. He rested his hands on her waist as he spoke. He wondered how Sam would react when she noticed Anas room being cleared of all her things. He knew she might come looking for him but he didnt really care, he was a great liar and would be able to easily bluff his way out
 
Ana shook her head. "No. It's great. Really. I'm just glad to be out of that hell hole." She wrapped her arms around his neck and laughed when she imagined the face of whoever was the first to go it Ana's room. "I wish I could see their faces." She laughed again then leaned forward and kissed Theo along his jaw line. It was unbelievable how much she loved him right now.
 
Theo laughed at tha tthough. " Well i can only imagine it." He smiled to himself then leant down to pick up the bag he had brought with him. " I got some baby stuff while i was out. You should see the size of the cot i think it will last him until he is eight. Its huge." He laughed then took out the clothes. " Sam picked them out and i got him a toy." He said showing it to her. It was weird how he was in a good mood now. Of course he knew it couldnt last but he knew it would be nice for Ana to not fear him hitting her at the moment
 
Ana smiled at the pjs. They looked great. She had a feeling Noah would look great in them. That is, if he was alive to wear them. That was the only thing worrying her at the moment. "Do you want to carry the cot upstairs. I have a feeling I stand no chance." She giggled slightly then moved away from Theo so he could carry it to the nursery.
 
Theo chuckled and nodded. " Yeah sure thing what else are we males for if not for bed and to lift heavy things." He laughed and carried the cot up stairs. He placed it in the spare room and went back down stairs. " You know i bet you girls arent even as weak as you make out i bet you just give us the occasional jar to open to make us feel useful." He laughed again. He stopped when he noticed this happy cheery side of him. He frowned slightly, he wasnt sure where this was coming from at all. " Wow this is so weird. Im never like this." He rolled his eyes
 
Ana laughed. "I can open some jars but most have been super-glued together. They're impossible to open." She smiled then walked over to him. "It's because you've made me happy." Ana felt happier now than she had done in ages. She had a place to herself instead of bugging Theo all the time so she had a place to go when she couldn't cope with anyone else. Plus, she was pregnant with the baby of the man she loved. What did she have to be upset about??
 
Theo sighed and looked at her. " It feels dumb i dont like it i prefer my normal self." He folded his arms across his chest and put on a frown. " Grrrr." He laughed then shook his head. " Dumb emotions things what good do they ever do." He began towards the kitchen to look around the house. " You know just because you have your own place it doesnt mean you carnt come to mine you know." He said looking back to her
 
Ana couldn't stop herself from laughing at Theo. She hadn't seen this side of him before and it was funny for a change. She wasn't used to him acting childish. He was normally grown, responsible, murderous Theo who didn't give a damn about most people and now she was laughing and joking. "Yeah. I know." She grinned. "It's still fun being here though. It means I actually get peace and quiet for once in my life."
 
Theo nodded. He was trying to get to his normal self again, with little success. " You can have anything you want Ana. Just ask me and its yours." Theo could get her anything that she wanted. He had the money too. After what Martin had left him and what his job paid him, he was never going hungry or poor, and neither will Ana
 
Ana walked over to Theo and leant her cheek against his chest. She felt happy here. It was her place of peace and tranquillity. "I don't know what I want." She shrugged. "I never have known. I don't think I ever will."
 
Theo smiled then brushed some hair from her face. " Well when you think of something just let me know ok." He Said running his hand through his hair and sighing. He rested his head on the cabinate. " I think Sam liked me you know. I have never been that polite before. It was funny."
 
Ana laughed. "Sam likes anyone who respects her and treats her like a grown woman." She shrugged when she thought about the people who had got on Sam's bad side because they had failed this one thing. "It's such a simple thing but so many people seem to find it easy to fail."
 
Theo shrugged. " There are very few people that i respect in this world. In fact i could count them on one hand there are so few. I respect who i have to, who are important to me and that i need. Others who are less important and less needed are just dirt on my shoe in my eyes." Theo didnt really care about this, it was just who he was and he loved it. So much better to be evil then to get walked all over. Thats how he saw it anyway.

Theo stood up strait and went into the cub board to get a glass. He filled it with water from the tap and sipped it. " Ugh the water here tastes different. I still haven't gotten used to it in New Zealand yet. It all tastes foul to me." He poured it away then washed out the cup before boiling the kettle to make a cup of tea. " Are you sure you are ok with all this i mean tis act may wound your family more deeply than any spell could. And the fact your making Jasper keep your secret may put a strain on things." He assumed that Jasper knew as they were both in the house at the time and unless he was deaf and dumb then he would know
 
Ana shook her head. "Why would I care about what they thought??" She smiled at him as she said it. "I used to be ok with them. Now I hate most of them. Plus, Jasper's fine with the whole thing. You have no idea how many secrets he's keeping from Sam. If he wasn't suicidal and all then he would be amazing." Ana liked Jasper but he could be a complete nut case when he went off on one of his rages. "I think there's three people in the family I can fully trust: Jasper, Junior and Woody. All the others are way too close to Sam. They'd spill information without even meaning to."
 
Theo nodded. He knew what she was on about. He wasnt close with his family at all and hated them all. Well maybe not Alexia but still she wasnt his family in blood so she wasnt his family at all in his eyes. " Well i like Junior. He is a cool guy so you have my liking on him." He said with a slight smile on his face. " At least Odie wont be bugging you any more. Thats good right. Although it means she will be bugging me to try and find you but oh well." He shrugged again. Odie didnt really bother him at all, he could deal with her
 
Ana shrugged. "You know what to do with her if she starts bugging you. You already know how weak she is. It's not like she can fight back." Like Ana, Odie was better at potions than spells and it showed when she tried to do something with her wand. "If it wasn't for Eddie, I'd give you permission to kill her." Ana wrapped her arms around Theo as she spoke. She could tell he didn't like the happy him.
 
Theo rolled his eyes. This Eddie bloke was really starting to bug him. Shame Ana wouldnt give him permission to kill him, Theo would have take great pleasure in that act. He rested his hands just above her waist and rested his head against hers. " Well thats a shame then i guess. I doubt your sister will be coming anywhere near me after the last time she did." He smiled at the memory. " That was fun."
 
Ana giggled. "You'll have to let me watch next time." Ana reached up and kissed him. "All I know from the last time is what I heard her yelling at me about." She rolled her eyes at the memory. Odie could be such a nag sometimes. "I am seriously glad that I'm away from her at last. It's like having a burden taken off after Merlin only knows how many years."
 
Theo smiled slightly at her. He also knew how that felt too. He knew how a lot of things that Ana was now going through felt. He was good at being able to understand people. He could see what made things tick and what drives them. He knew how they were feeling juts by looking at them, even if they would try and hide it, he could see. " Yeah it is a relief when that happens. I felt just like that when i left my family. It was great and i never regretted it. Not even now." He looked around the room, even though he had bought it he hadnt really looked at it that closely. " So you going to give me the tour?"
 
Ana laughed. "Course I will. This is obviously the kitchen." She moved out into the hall way and pointed into the other two rooms downstairs. "That's the living room and that's the dining room." Then she lead him upstairs. "This is the bathroom. Then that's the spare bedroom." She lead him further across the hall. "That's the nursery and last but not least, this is the bedroom." She smiled as she looked around the room.
 
Theo followed her around the house, looking into each room as she said. He still thought it was small even after the grand tour. Although he guessed that because Ana was used to living in a small house with many people that this would be big enough for her if not bigger. He had made sure to get a house with a nursery for Noah. Of course he would get one in his own house as well but not until later, he would probably get an extension to the house first. " So i guess its nice. Your sure its not too small. I mean some would call this cosy." He would have called it cramped
 
Ana grinned. "I've just spent ten years sharing a bedroom with my sister and having to cramp onto a sofa with eleven other people. Believe me, this is loads of space compared to what I'm used to." She stepped further into the bedroom. "I finally have room to space myself out and I also have more room for clothes. Now all I need is to get money to buy clothes." She shrugged. Ana knew she should probably get a job so she could buy her own clothes for once.
 
Theo watched her walk into the room and smiled when she mentioned clothes. He knew it wouldnt have taken her long. He thought for a second before talking. " Well as i have some spare time as im not working how about we go shopping and i get you what you want." He said raising an eye brow while he waited for her answer
 
Ana shook her head. "I want to be able to buy things myself. I don't want to have to get money off of you all the time. It just makes me feel like I'm incapable of doing things for myself." She shrugged when she started thinking about jobs she could do.
