Ivy stepped out to the quidditch pitch. It was one of the last days of semester and the summer sun was bright in the sky. exams were over and afte the ball people would be heading home for the holiday. She would be heading home for the holiday. She knew she was lucky that she could practice on the farm. and she had her family, almost an entire quidditch team to practice with. her sister a seeker, her brother a keeper, her brother in law the beater and her mum a chaser. but she knew not everyone on the team had the space or even the magical family to do that. So she had booked the ptch for one last training session befoe the break. It wasnt a formal session. they wouldnt have teams. they wouldnt even have a game. and it wasnt a requirement. just time and space for those who wanted to practice
once she was pretty sure everyone who was there was there she put down the equiptment she had taken from the shed. "Hello team. this is going to just be a casual training. do what you want. Fly if you want, chase a snitch or have a go at hitting blugers. If you want to just practice taking shots go for it. I am happy to play keeper on one of the rings if you want so we can have both sets of hoops going" she said. she knew that they only had one keeper and while she needed to practice too she didnt want her to feel stuck blocking everyones shots. "we also have bludgers and spare bats and a few training snitches to let out so have a fly and have fun" she said before she picked up her broom and took to the sky. to see whateveryone would want to do.

Felix didnt mind a free training session. It reminded him of when he flew with his cousins on the farm. He didnt see the point of trying out another position this late in his career however so decided to practice catching the snitch a little more.

Felix did a little loop of the pitch, wondering if any of the other Gryffindors would try to find the snitch.

Ivy took to the sky a quaffle in her hand. looking foward to having a bit of time to relax and have some fun while flying and not always having to look out for all the members of her team.

Felix flew higher into the air, trying to keep things casual as he looked for the snitch. It wasn't long before he caught a glimpse of it near another player, and he flew to catch it before it could disappear from his view again.

Ivy flew towards the hoops. and he heard someone flying close to her. She looked in time to see felix's fingers wrap around the snitch. "nice one Felix" she called out. before she flew towards the hoop and took a shot smiling when it went in though not ovely supprised as it was yet to be guarded.

Felix grinned as Ivy complimented his catch and he paused in the air to witness her score a goal, too. "Nice one yourself, Capt." The Gryffindor hovered in the skies, playing with the golden ball between his fingers for a moment. "Although, that looks like that's an easy feat for you," he called out. Ivy scored every goal she ever tried for these days. He opened his palm once more, the snitch spreading its wings, "Is catching this as easy for you Ivy?" Felix challenged, watching the snitch fly away in an instant. "I'll take care of the Quaffle if you take care of the Snitch?" The prefect was heading for the Quaffle as it began to fall from the hoop, grabbing it before it could reach the ground.

Capt approved.

Ivyheard felix call out. and smiled. "thanks Felix" she called as she congratulated her. before she let out a chuckle as he asked if it was east for her. "Tossing against an empty hoop does make it easier than a guarded one" she callled. she chuckled at his request. "lets have a see. five gallions on catching the snitch before you manage to score a goal at each end" she called. not sure what the offs woud be. But it was more for fun and the challenge of competition than actual thinking she would beat him. she would say she would race him to the snitch, but if he wanted to play chaser. she was happy to give seeking a go on her own.

"You're on, Cullen," Felix grinned with the Quaffle tucked tightly under his arm as he raced towards the hoops. He'd spent years watching the Chasers on the team scoring their goals, and with no Keeper it wasn't exactly hard to stop the ball from flying straight through when he tossed it. "You sure you don't want to make that 10 Galleons?" Felix called from across the pitch with a chuckle. The prefect would make a fair Chaser.

Kaysi was up in the air as soon as Ivy finished. She took a swing at a bludger, watching it soar right into the captain. "Sorry!" She called out as she flew by.
@Ivy Cullen

William was incredibly frustrated that he hadn't played in their first game of the season, despite being the starting beater. Instead, his alternate had played ahead of him. He would work hard to prove he should be in the team, but the new captain hadn't left a good impression on him. He got on his broom and started practice looking for bludgers.

It looked as though Ivy was getting the full Seeker experience as she was targeted by a Beater. Felix chuckled to himself and went to grab the Quaffle again.

Daviana was running a little late to the informal practice Ivy was hosting. It looked like things had already started, and Daviana quickly flew up to guard a set of the hoops, a little confused as she saw Felix with the quaffle but decided to guard the hoops from him nonetheless.

As Felix was approaching the next set of hoops, he suddenly realised Daviana was now situated in front of them, hoping to get in the way of Felix and his Galleons. "Hey Daviana," Felix grinned in her direction, "Which hoop's your favourite?"

Ivy was flying looking around as the rest of the team started to fill out she was getting used to searc by I g the pitch as captain. But not for something so small as a snitch. She saw a bludger come her was and flew off before it could get her keeping her eyes peeled for the golden walnut.

Daviana was focused on blocking the hoops when Felix brought up a question that confused her. Was he just trying to pull her focus? She really didn’t have a favorite hoop, as they all had provided a struggle for her when it came to actually blocking them. Maybe it was just friendly banter from her teammate. “Uh, the right one?” she replied a little hesitantly. To be honest, she was starting to worry about her place on the team with her lack of actually blocking much during practice, but she wanted to remain confident in front of the older teammates. “Does that mean you’ll go for one of the other hoops?” she called to Felix, trying to stay light on her broom.

Felix paused by the hoops, toying with the Quaffle in his hands. "The right one?" The prefect threw the Quaffle into her favourite hoop, only for it not to score. Ivy was still in with a chance.

Ivy saw a glint of gold and flew towards it. However before she was there it had glinted away. She looked around and saw feeling take a shot and miss. nice going daviana. Better luck next time felix[\b] she called. Before searching for the snitch again.

Felix peered over his shoulder to note thankfully Ivy still hadnt caught the snitch either. He waited to see if another Chaser would join them.

Ivy continued to fly and look for the snitch. But couldn’t see anything.

As no other Chaser grabbed the Quaffle, Felix flew to retrieve it once more from the air.

Ivy took a breath. she needed to chnnel her inner willow. What made her sister willow. well part of her was alredy acting like willow her sister was known as the person who ran the family bets. She was also always so focused and single minded. she sat up on her broom took the tie out of her hair and tied it back again as if neatening her hair and getting it more out of her face would also get her eyes in the game.

Weaving his way over to the opposite hoops again he hoped Daviana would be less prepared if he didn't announce himself this time. With the ball back under his arm he debated which hoop to aim for.

Ivy kept looking but couldn’t see anything.

Daviana managed to block Felix’s attempt and smiled, tossing it back out to him as she prepared to block it again.
