Gryffindor Quidditch Practice Y50 S2

Felix tried to pick up speed to find the snitch again.

Felix hummed to himself as he flew.

Ivy kept an eye on Victoria. Hoping that the first year was doing okay.

Training was going well so far with two snitch catches from Felix. Teddy readied himself as the chasers began to make their way up towards him.

Felix wondered if he'd get a third before Aroha got her first but he didn't want to be big headed about it. His eyes scanned the stands to see if anyone was watching them.

William didn't hit anything.

come on Victoria. You’ve got this girl Ivy called encouraging the young chaser as they approached the hoops.

Felix was glad his bestie wasn't near a bludger given their previous practice.

Victoria was thankful for Ivy's encouragement as she made her way to the hoops yet couldn't help but feel like she let the older chaser down when her shot got blocked without too much effort. She shot her what was supposed to be a convincing smile.

Felix almost leant back on his broom, waiting for the snitch to catch him.

Kaysi took a swing at another bludger, but it dodged her bat and she completely missed.

Felix's back was glad Kaysi missed.

Miles hung back as he watched Victoria attempt to score, but the younger girl missed. So Miles grabbed the quaffle as it was thrown back.

Ignore the action. I hit the wrong button. Clearly I haven’t had my morning tea yet.

Ivy cheered as Victoria took a shot good shot. It would have gone in if Teddy wasn’t there she said. She was about to fly forward to catch the ball as it was thrown in when she saw miles get there. She turned around and followed him up the pitch in case he needed any support.

Felix made the most of the Beaters not being focused on him.

Once more he attempted to score and once morw he ended up missing. This was not going well so far.

At least practise was the time to fail. Better now than on the pitch.

Ivy followed miles and was a little disappointed for him when his shot missed. But she flew forward and got the ball when rose threw it out before starting to head back towards Teddys hoops.

Felix was getting a little hungry.

Ivy flew down the pitch quickly. She knew she had to be a team player and support the other chasers. But some times she liked to push herself and maybe show off a little. After all what else was all her training and running drills for. Once she reached the hoops she threw the quaffle. Hard straight through the right hoop.

Felix watched as Ivy scored a goal, cheering in her direction. There was no way Gryffindor were losing this year.

Felix was just thinking about how he should have used the bathrooms before he came outside when he spotted the snitch. Hovering just to the left of his head. He paused in the air, wondering if it was about to fly away. It did not. He reached up and gently caught it.

Letting go of the snitch, Felix flew off again.

Not seeing anyone else nearby Ivy caught the ball as it was thrown in. Before turning and making her way up the pitch a little slower this time. Seeing felix catch the snitch she smiled good catch Felix she cheered as the ball darted out of his hand.

Teddy was impressed by Felix catching the snitch again, it was quite the turnaround on last semester. Things weren't going so well for Teddy, who missed Ivy's shot. He tried not to look too grumpy about that while throwing the quaffle back out to her. Really it was good to see his team doing well.
