Hera had exams to prep for so she had come to the library, a place she only came to when she needed somewhere without any distractions aka the few weeks before exams. In her family failure was unacceptable, especially for her. She was the oldest so she was to set an example to her younger sisters in every field of life, not like it was supposed to be her parents setting that example or anything. They had barely managed to set an example for her other than how to get from one place to another and how to move around as often as possible. Hera had always been good at school, everyone assumed it was something that came naturally for her but unfortunately it wasn't. She worked for it hard. Countless hours in the library went into the success of her grades and that was something none of them saw since school was away from home for them.

So there she was, head buried in a book about what the f*ck was it even about? Honestly her mind had been racing about what the break would look like enough that she had no idea what subject she had in front of her now. With bleary eyes the Wampus put her book down and let out a deep sigh, turns out she had in her haste picked up a second year history of magic book. Honestly the year had already been anxiety filled knowing first of her younger sisters was now all on her own on the other side of the world at school and she had only received one, ONE letter so far...

Lennox knew he shouldn’t have been doing it, but he had been trying to balance a chair on two legs when he caught sight of Hera at another table. She always seemed to look like the weight of the whole school was pressing down her shoulders. He let the chair drop with a soft thunk and headed over, plopping himself in the seat across from her without so much as a hello. He really couldn’t say why someone so pretty was fretting so much about everything. She was too young for worry like this, or whatever it was. “You know that’s a second-year book, right?” he asked, nodding to it like she hadn’t just realised it herself. He reached across the table and tugged on it, to take it out of her hand and looked over it. “You studying for your big return to the glory days or just collecting dust for sentimental reasons?”

Hera's eyes shot up as someone tugged at the book and then it was out her grasps, what? She blinked a few times at the boy, Lennox. His comment made the Wampus roll her brown eyes, now of course she had known it was a second year book. "No genius, I wasn't collecting dust just... Preparing to be the 'oh so perfect example'." She made air quotes and mimicked her mama's thick Greek accent. To be fair maybe reading that book would give her a better chance at helping her sisters around if she had her own memory refreshed. "On a second thought, maybe I really should read it after all." She shrugged reaching over the table for him to return the book.
