Seventh Years, Lesson One

"Now, as I am sure you are all aware, you have all made it into the seventh year NEWT class for Charms. So congratulations, few make it this far!" Misha smiled at his students. "I believe this is the best year for charms, as they will be difficult, but very rewarding. Do not be fooled however, that won't make this easy!" Said Misha, getting off the desk and walking in front of his students, smiling as he did so. He took out his wand, and waved it in the general direction of the board, the chalk wrote on the board what they would be covering during the year. He didn't mind if students chose to not right this out, it wasn't necessary.

Patronus Charm

This year was quite unlike the rest of them, in the sense that the spells were more difficult and needed so much more practice, however they were useful, as were charms in general. One of the many perks of charms, was that they were actually useful. "Charms are something that you will be utilizing the rest of your life. Whether you are using them in your career or not. So, pay attention in class, do the reading, we'll get along, it'll be enjoyable and you'll pass with no problems." Misha nodded slightly, he looked from the board to his students. "Right, so that's all I have to say for today, Feel free to spend the rest of the time practicing, or studying, either here, or somewhere else. And I'll be here to answer any questions you may have."

- RP the Lesson. Attendance post is fine

Savannah walked into the charms classroom and took her usual spot in the room. Her gaze moved to the professor as he listed the spells they would be covering during the semester. She nodded along to it, taking them down but that did appear to be the end of the lesson. She didn’t really mind the spells they’d do were complex and she looked forward to be able to do the patronus charm. She packed up her things and then headed out of the room.

The final year, and the term was just beginning. Cassius Styx could hardly be in a bad mood now. He spent some time with his girlfriend and was going to be graduating soon. He needed to get good grades so that he could do well afterward. He wanted to prove to his family that he was someone that was not to be overlooked. Cass got dressed and grabbed his bag. He was going to get a good job after this, a place, and if he and Aubrie were still together, maybe move her in after she graduated. If she wanted to anyway. Cass left the Slytherin house and headed out to his class. First lesson of the term, it was going to be easy. It was always introductory.

Cass entered the Charms classroom and sat down in his seat. Professor Haden started the lesson up with what class they were in. He hoped that everyone knew anyway. His eyes landed on the board to see the spells that they would be learning. Some of them seemed just plain destructive. That might be fun, but he had Terror as a cousin. He heard the dismissal. So, the Slytherin prefect got up and left the classroom.

Roo was looking forward to her last semester of Charms. She had learnt quite a lot in the class, and unlike other classes, she knew how important it was in the real world. As she entered the classroom for her first lesson of her last semester, she took a seat near the front of the room, eager to get started.

As the professor started the lesson, Roo made sure to write down the list of spells they would be learning. They all seemed simple enough, except the patronus charm seemed to be the most challenging. She hoped that she would be able to get through it however. She thanked the professor at the end of the lesson before heading straight to her next class.

The seventh year prefect was ready and done with school now. But Terror Zhefarovich had just one more year to go. That was it. Then he was off to do as he pleased. He wanted to join a Quidditch team and be famous. He just needed that step in the door, which he hoped to do after he graduated. He was going to make something of himself. Terror smirked as he finished getting ready, and left the dorm. Terror walked in the Charms classroom and sat down next to Cassius. Professor Haden greeted them with a congratulatory message, and how they would endure the best year for charms. The spells looked really fun, he would not deny that. He wrote them down and left upon dismissal. They never jumped into the fun stuff on the first week anyway.
