Eoghan had a scowl on his face as he walked through the dungeons, hoping the Slytherin he'd spoken to hadn't been lying or playing a joke. If it wasn't for Potions, the Ravenclaw wouldn't be in this dingy area of the castle at all, and he felt a little sorry for the students that had to hide out down here. Approaching the common room door, he resisted the urge to rest against the wall, unsure if he'd get his own robes filthy in the meantime, and hoped to see someone that matched June's description sooner rather than later. "Are you a prefect?" he asked a nearby student with a badge, hoping they could help.

@June Davenport

The blonde was gathering her things to go and study in the library, making sure her badge was on there so people could see it very well she made her way out of the common room. When a younger boy with really white hair asked if she was a prefect. She wanted to point at her badge like have you got no glasses but instead put on a sugar sweet smile. '' Yes I am. What's going on?'' She asked him directly back. Wondering what an ravenclaw student did down here.

Eoghan was relieved when the girl pointed out that she was indeed a prefect. In theory she should be able to help. "I have a rose to deliver, but I don't know who this is except that she is a prefect," The Ravenclaw held up the rose with the note attached to it. "Are you June Davenport, or do you know where she is?"
Happy Valentine’s day

-Misha

When the boy said he had an rose to deliver to a prefect, she thought. But than he mentioned her name and she smiled. It was interesting that he didn't know who she was, but in a way that was good sometimes since others tried to spread rumours about her. Like she was a bad guy, but others were just jealous of her. And they were bullying her, not the other way around. It wasn't like she was the one who threw paint at others, she was just busy with her studying and a model student. But with succes there came jealous people everywhere. '' I'm June. So you are with the right person.'' the blonde than said. And looked at the colour of the rose and what was attached. Ready to take it from him. '' Who are you?'' She asked back, to make sure she got his name.

A small smile spread on Eoghan's face when June said he'd gotten the right person and he gave her the rose. That was a relief. What he didn't expect however was to be asked who he was. No one ever asked that. Either because they were so busy wrapped up in their own lives and who they'd received a rose from to care, or because they were someone he'd already known. He could tell why this girl was a prefect. "I'm Eoghan Blyth, Ravenclaw." he introduced himself for the first time since he'd met his now friends on the train to Hogwarts. He'd chosen to deliver roses precisely so that he could meet new people, so perhaps he shouldn't have wasted this opportunity. He didn't want to ask her if she'd had a lot of roses because if she hadn't, that would have been awkward. "What year are you in?" he asked eventually, trying to keep to the safe topic of school.

June was usually just busy with herself and figured she was not gonna pay too much attention to certain slytherin girls who always tried to ruin her life or something and were obsessed. She was not gonna give them attention, but never forgot actions against her. And had other plans to get back at them. June took the yellow rose from him and wondered who it was from, quickly reading the note and smiling as she saw it was from Misha. Which reminded her that she needed to catch up an bit with him to continue an good relationship. '' Thanks Eoghan.'' The blonde said back. If she got something which she liked she was sugarsweet to others. He seemed to want to continue an conversation and June actually just wanted to get on to the library to study. But she figured to enjoy this positive attention for an moment. '' I'm an sixth year. So one more year to go next.'' she answered his question. He seemed like an younger student so either an first or second year to her. She knew she had to make no mistakes when the stakes were high to get another badge next year, so showing how well she was social was an good opportunity now. '' And you?'' the blonde asked back.

As June used his name in thanks, he felt the heat rise to his cheeks as he blushed under her observation. Doing his best to pay attention to what she was telling him and not what he was feeling, he looked up to meet her eyes. She was a sixth year which meant there was a good chance that next year she'd be Head Girl. Eoghan didn't know how important it was to make connections like that around the school, but it certainly couldn't have come as a negative. "Are you hoping for Head Girl?" perhaps it was a forward question, but Eoghan honestly wanted to know. Then again, had anyone ever turned down a role like that? What if someone didn't want the responsibility of being a Head person? Then again perhaps someone who didn't want it wouldn't still have their prefect badge pinned to the front of their robes.

June had an bigger picture in her mind, this ravenclaw boy in front of her didn't ment anything special. But if she wanted to be seen more than an student who was the better of everyone in class, got the most points and more. But also an prefect who helped others, she needed to fake it an bit more again. And come out of the library and besides patrols some more. And it was sometimes so easy to fool people, it was even fun perhaps. She smiled when Eoghan asked an direct question. '' Why do you ask?'' She placed an question back with an quick smile. '' But to answer your question, I would think of that as an true honor. So yes ofcourse.'' The blonde said with an sugar sweet smile. Wondering if he was ambitious himself for perhaps seeing that she was an good connection.

Eoghan wasn't sure what he was expecting, surely anyone would have seen it as an honor. He'd been curious, although if he thought about it, he knew why he was curious. "Do you think there's extra pressure on you, knowing that Professors are probably trying to judge who's best for it?" he continued to ask, not looking away despite the overwhelming need to. Even if being a prefect wasn't something he'd ever thought about for himself, there were a number of students in his year that he just knew were likely to get the status one day. Would their school lives be made harder, because so many more people would be looking at them as the idea of a role model? "Is being a prefect even worth that pressure if it means everyone is watching you?" He asked, out of genuine concern for his friends more than to be judgmental of the Slytherin.

The questions the younger Ravenclaw was putting on her were interesting. But she smiled shortly. She didn't need to act too cocky about herself, but confidence was not bad to show. '' Not really. I can handle pressure really well.'' the blonde said confidently. And hold the rose, she would put it away before going to the library. Her social skills were definitly showing here so every professor could come and see. And students who were not asking dumb stuff or saying dumb stuff, they could learn from this Ravenclaw. And it was enjoying this attention for an moment, so she didn't mind. '' Why would it be a bad thing if everyone is watching you?'' The blonde answered and in the same time asked an question back.

Eoghan was glad that June seemed to be receptive to his questions. She'd been on her way out the dungeons when he stopped her, so the fact the older girl was talking to him at all said a lot about the type of person she was. He blinked thoughtfully for a moment at her question, glad to be talking to someone who seemed as interested as he was about asking questions that would force you to consider your own stance on a topic. "I think others knowing your name can be beneficial," he recalled being sorted, and how he did like the idea of being known but only for what he could do. To have something so intriguing about yourself that it would get you noticed. "I suppose it's not a bad thing if you're being observed with a positive reputation," he paused, not wanting to offend her with his next question. Now he was most definitely thinking of himself, not his friends in the same position. "But for other students to be watching you on a day to day basis, potentially your every move, how do you make sure everyone only remembers the good?"
