Chloe stopped for a moment to check out how her teammates were doing, and they seemed to be successful. She soon resumed he search for bludgers, hoping to get another hit before practice was over.

Chloe noticed a bludger heading towards one of the keepers and she did her best to hit it, but her bat completely missed the bludger. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

When she spotted another bludger, Chloe sped up a little, and when she was close enough she whacked it with all her might, and to her delight and relief, she watched as it hit her target, @Juniper Zumwalt. "Sorry!" she called to the other girl, feeling bad but this was part of the game.

Chloe spotted another bludger and this time, she just went for it, wanting to protect her fellow teammates while at the same time wanting to get in a successful hit. She missed, again, and she fought the urge to scream. She really wanted to get one hit, was that too much to ask?

Chloe sent a smile towards Juniper as the younger girl encouraged her, she appreciated that. The prefect didn't see the bludger coming her way and she ducked just in time, cursing at herself for not seeing the bludger and hitting it in the opposite direction.

Chloe was a little bummed that the other beaters seemed to be much more successful than her. When she saw a bludger nearby, she sped up and swung her bat, watching as it soared towards the chasers but missed them both.

Chloe flew around the pitch, noticing how good the beaters were doing. Minnie caught the snitch, to which Chloe smiled. She still hadn't found any bludgers to hit, which was frustrating.

Chloe was looking forward to yet another year, and another Quidditch season. She had been bummed about the losses the previous year, but this time, she was more sure that they had a chance at winning the cup. She arrived to the pitch for the tryouts, and sent a small polite smile towards Lars...
