Zurie Pranks

[Desislav Zhefarovich]

It was nearing the end of the year, and Desislav and his best pal, Finn, knew that they couldn't leave without a bang - literally. They had sat for a long time (which was unusual for the boys) and planned this prank, and finally it was time for it to happen. Tiny little boxes, with loud booms inside, along with other little surprises were going to be hidden all around the school, exploding at random times. Pranks gave both the boys joy, but this was the perfect way to advertise their business, which finally had a name. Zurie - it was perfect. Both of the boys had a couple of boxes and hid them around the school. They were going to try and be at each one when they erupted - it was going to be so much fun. It was nearly time for this box to go, so Desi sat, seemingly innocent, waiting for it to happen.

Out of Character:

Around the school there are lots of little boxes that will explode at a random time. In this box, there will be an explosion of confetti. Please feel free to post and react to as many topics as you want!

Exams were coming up and Bee knew she needed to really study hard if she wanted a chance at passing her classes like she'd promised Professor Kingsley she'd do. She figured she'd better start studying now since she hadn't all year, but after a few minutes of changing up positions on her bed to get comfortable - to the point where she started dozing off - she knew studying in her in her room was not a good idea. So instead she packed up her things and decided to head to the library. As she made her way through the corridors, Bee saw Desislav sitting there and smiled when she saw him. "Hey Des!" she greeted him, stopping for a chat before she went to study. She was going to get to it eventually.

[Flavio Morales-Tipene]

After spending the entire day studying, Flavio wanted nothing more than to have a peaceful stroll around the castle to clear his head. It was just an unfortunate stroke of his luck that caused something near him to explode and disperse confetti everywhere as he began walking through the fifth floor corridor, making his walk the opposite of peaceful and his head far from clear. He felt more stressed out as he stood in shock, watching the confetti fall around him than he had at any point during his studying. Though instead of reacting too much to the unexpected explosion, Flavio merely shook his head before dusting some of the confetti off his sweater and muttering under his breath in Spanish. Being caught off guard was the last thing he had needed nor wanted and he wasn't happy about it one bit. But he refused to cause more problems than it was worth by being too outwardly angry at the surprise.

Bee was about to sit down beside Desislav to catch up with him as he'd be graduating soon so there wouldn't be many other opportunities to do that - she was totally not procrastinating. But before she could even think to move, a huge explosion of confetti rained down out of nowhere. "What the -" she said, trying to see through it all and she saw someone standing there. At first she thought perhaps it was him, but the boy seemed just as confused as she was, dusting confetti off himself. "Where did that come from?" she asked him, wondering if he saw where it came from. She shook her head so confetti would try and loosen itself from her tight curls and she turned to Desislav suddenly. "You!" she said accusatorially. This had to be the reason why he was randomly sitting in a corridor for no reason.

[Aeon Summers]

Standing in the center of his office, Aeon stared up at large aquarium embedded into the ceiling, separating his and Arvo's offices through mere glass and water. With the end of the year fast approaching, he wasn't sure what to do with the colour-changing fish swimming about overhead. He could take them home, but his household had enough pets as it was, and it was too much effort trying to relocate them all. Did they caretakers come in during the holidays? He had no idea, but surely they, or some of the house-elves could come in and feed the fish while he and the rest of the staff and students were home for the Winter.

A bang made him jump, for a moment thinking the aquarium was about to burst and flood his office. It took a moment to realise where the sound came from, and when the man poked his head out of his office door, he immediately took notice of the present students, and the colourful confetti that now decorated his corridor. "Oh phew, it's just crepe paper. I thought someone backfired a spell or something." He commented with a tone of relief, glad to see no one was injured. He did not feel up to taking any kids to the infirmary today. They could walk it off.

Desislav had just lifted his hand in greeting to Bethany when the box went off. A guy who was walking by was caught in the confetti explosion along with Bethany and himself. Desi watched the confetti shower, laughing heartily when Bethany turned towards him, having put two and two together easily. "Whaaaa" he began and then cut himself off. Desi stopped denying it, instead dusting his shoulder off where a sizeable pile of confetti had settled. He was rather proud of it all, especially when a professor looked out of his office and seemed to take it all in stride. The shower showed no sign of slowing, and Desi made a mental note to let Finn know that they might need to tone down the magic in these boxes just a little bit.
