Frankie was pleased that she had decided to sign up to deliver candy canes, even if she had very few to actually do. It gave her something fun to do, and new people to meet - not that she really needed an excuse for that, to be honest, but a lot of people seemed more at ease with random conversation if there was a reason behind it. After a while of questioning every person she had laid eyes on, and getting side-tracked by a few awesome conversations, Frankie had finally ended up at the Hufflepuff House table. Holding the candy cane aloft above her head, resembling some sort of weird periscope, Frankie moved down the table calling, "November Albertson? November Albertson! Your month is over, December's here and you have a candy cane! November?"

November had been headed towards the Ravenclaw table that morning to sit with her boyfriend but at last moment she sat at the Hufflepuff table nearby to her younger cousin knowing Flavio could easily come and join them when he arrived. Sitting at the table the moment had been peaceful until she heard her name being shouted out. Turning around she spotted a young student, looking near the same age as her cousin Maggy. "Yes?" She said a bit quietly, her voice cracking a bit, "Yes?" The second time much louder and clearer in that morning.

Despite scouring the faces of each person she passed for any kind of recognition of the name she was calling, Frankie almost missed the older girl she had been looking for all this time. "Yes," she parroted back to who she assumed was November. "A candy cane, for you. Here." She pressed it into the other girl's hand with little regard for any personal boundaries she might have held. "From someone who thinks you'll enjoy mint. Or sugar. Typical Christmas stuff? The thought? There is a note," Frankie added, pointing it out. "So yeah, that's the delivery. Are you good? No questions? Comments? A rating from one to five stars?" She raised her eyebrows inquisitively.
November,
Happy holidays!
Love,
Flavio

November listened to the younger student rather confused at first until she saw the candy cane in her hands. The girl's words jumbled together as she seemed to be a type who talked a lot. "Thanks," she said taking the candy cane from the younger girl, unsure what else to say to the girl's questioning. She quickly opened the note and read it her face turning red seeing it was from Flavio. It didn't say much, she was sure she had written more to him but it didn't matter. This was the first time she could remember him writing Love in a note to her. She was sure they weren't in love and that the most love she knew she felt for him was of friendship, she could easily see continuing down the path they were on and really falling in love with him. "I'm good, uh, 6 stars," she said to the younger girl finally standing up to look around to see if she could see Flavio in the room to thank him.
