Benjamen Zhefarovich had been walking through his wing, once more. He actually had a wing by the beautiful Viviana Baros, coincidentally. She was the one that he nearly killed, and would have killed her if Axel had not stopped him. Benji had a bit of a temper, and that was no secret. He could lie and say that his feelings were hurt when she called him something bad, but they were not. He was just rubbed the wrong way, and reacted in the only way he knew to react. He was raised as a violent man, and everything was to be treated with violence. Benji just could not change his views based on one female, could he? Benji might not even like her right now, and he was not about to change that anytime soon. He knew nothing about her except for the fact that she looked really good when the Patriarch came back. He still had the bruises on his torso and upper arms from the beating that he received for disappointing his father. He knew that he could not help run a family, he was not trained for that. If anyone should have been punished it should have been Axel. He was trained to handle their family, whereas Benji did not know the slightest thing about running one. Benjamen didn't want to deal with people's problems when he had his own family to worry about. Well, he had one daughter, so he would need her one day when she came home to visit during the holidays. Benji entered his bedroom where there were now pictures of Alaska all over his walls and dresser. He had a large bathroom in his bedroom, but he didn't bother closing the door of his bedroom. No one came in here anyway, so why would he need to worry about that? Everyone knew who's bedroom this was. Benji removed his clothing, where his torso was still decorated in splatters of black, blue and purple. It was not something he could easily cover up either. Benji was going to have to heal then eventually, but he didn't have anything on him as of the moment. So he set his sights for his hot shower.

Discarding his clothing into the hamper, he stepped into the shower that was walk in, and he turned the water on. It was hot water, since he needed some time for it to warm up. After he saw some steam, he turned the knob on for cold water since he didn't want to burn his skin. After a bit, he found the perfect temperature and he found a good balance to start with his hot shower but not too hot where he would need aloe gel. Benji used this time to start thinking, while he was washing his long hair. He was getting older, and he had yet to settle down like many of his other family members. Prodan was once settled down, but then he unraveled. Something happened. He didn't know what happened. Kalif had settled down, but it took many years to do it. Benji thought about settling down, but then it would require him to actually leave the Manor and start dating. He didn't want to do that either. He just wanted to ensure that he gave Alaska a family. Would she be happy if he had given her something like that? A mother? He would have to ask her one day. He thought about giving her a little brother, but he would have to look to adopt. He had his name out there, but he didn't know where to find the boy at. Alaska needed someone around her age in order to get socialized. He turned off the shower as soon as he realized that he was finished washing up his body and hair, and he was rinsed well enough. Now to go get dressed and spend the day thinking of someone to adopt.

<COLOR color="#000">It was no secret that Viviana was unhappy here. Being cooped up in a creepy old manor was the last thing she ever would have wanted. Not that she disrespected this place. It had a lot of history to it, plus it was designed well. She just, hated it here. mostly because she was being forced to live here with people she barely knew. "Not to mention, some of them are scarier than...well anything I've ever seen before." Viviana was frightened of many of them. Slowly but surely she had come out of her shell a little bit. There were actually people within this home that she would speak to on occasion. But most of the time she would remain quiet, and in the corner. That way people would be less likely to notice her. The Manor seemed quiet today so that was what made her feel comfortable enough to go for a walk outside the comforts of her bedroom. Hating this place or not, Viviana was tired of doing nothing but sitting inside of her room. Viviana softly cracked open the door and peeked her head outside. She wanted to make sure Benjamen wasn't around. Apparently he lived somewhere in this wing as well. So she needed to be careful when wandering around. The last thing she would want to do is run into him. He was at the ball the other night. He tried to approach her, or maybe he was going to talk to someone else. Either way, Viviana got out of there quickly. "I wonder if the library is somewhere around here." Viviana thought to herself quickly. Perhaps it was behind one of the many doors down this corridor. Viviana figured peeking into them wouldn't hurt too much. Viviana smoothed out her dress and started down the hallway. Maybe they had a place where she could attempt and sketch again, she always did her best work in the library. Too bad her hand still shook quite a bit. Halfway down the hallway she stopped in front of a door.

She decided she would try in here. Viviana lightly turned the knob and pulled the door open. Dang. It was only a bedroom. Where was that library at? Viviana thought she heard a noise within the room and wondered if she could ask someone of they knew where it was. "Hello? Can some-someone help me find the library? I'm kind of lost right now and I would really appreciate the hel-Ah!" Viviana forewarned her arrival by calling out to anyone within the room. But as she entered into the next room, she quickly begun to wish she hadn't. Not only had she walked in on someone getting out of the shower, but it was the one man she feared more than she feared anything else in the world. Out of fear, Viviana's already pale skin, seemed to grow even more faint. Her body tensed up, and fear pooled within her lightened green eyes. She was literally petrified for the time being. Then for some reason unbeknownst to her, she looked down. Viviana's face turned so red, and she struggled to find words. "Sorry! I'm so sorry! I was uh looking for the library, and I though...I'm sorry." Viviana looked away. It was clear that she was frightened to death though, her voice was frantic. Viviana hurriedly back away, trying to get out of the room before she was possibly hurt. Viviana wouldn't even look back at him once as she tried to back away. Just as she exited the bathroom she bumped into a frail table with a vase on it. Viviana squeaked as she saw it fall. Luckily her reflexes were quick and she was able to catch it. "I'm sorry! I...oh my gosh. I need to go." She wanted to add in a beg for him not to hurt her. But she feared that this would ignite him to try and want to do it anyways. Viviana's eyes turned their cast down onto the floor and she hurriedly exited his room and shut the door behind her. Oh my gosh, she had seen him naked! He probably wanted to kill her even more now! "He probably thinks I'm a pervert now." Viviana had suddenly lost her desire to find the library now. All she wanted to do was crawl under the covers and weep. Her life was so horrid right now.

Benjamen was simply standing there, his bare feet against the cold floor and the only thing around him was a towel draped over his broad shoulders, his body loving the battered decorations that his father placed on him, yet he seemed to wear them with pride. He was a strange man no doubt. He heard a voice and he looked over to see none other than Viviana Baros standing in his room, seeing all of his body. What a privilege it must be to her. Benjamen smirked and he noticed that she turned paler than what she should be. Why, that was very unattractive, does she not know that? Someone should remind her, but he did not cover himself up immediately. In fact, he was almost posing. One needed to be proud of their body, and he sure was proud of his right now! It was enough to make her stutter. And she was looking for the library? He could show her that easily, and he thought that as a host of this marvelous area, then he would be the first to show. However she was apologizing and turning red, Benji did not really have a way to tell her anything with her without her interrupting. That and he should wrap himself up. Then she even bumped into a vase and caused it to nearly fall. He rolled his silvery eyes at that, before he wondered if there was anything graceful about her at all. Perhaps not anymore after he almost killed her, but he did not recall damaging her legs that much. Mostly the upper torso. He shrugged before he wrapped the towel around his waist, and he finally said, "Okay, hang on a second there. I know my body is glorious to look at and might cause you some disorientation, but there is no need to act like a timid cat." He looked over to the side and he used a bit of magic to summon a bath robe the color of black over to him, and he wrapped it around his form, then dropping the towel.

However she shut the door behind her, and he sighed. This was going to be harder than he thought. Putting on some house shoes, he did not like wearing them but he would have to before he was properly dressed. He walked out of the bedroom, and he reached out to take a hold of her shoulder firmly. Not enough to bring any sort of pain because thanks to his daughter, he knew how to control his strength. He was going to help her out a little bit. After all, she was a guest now apparently. Axel must have pulled some strings or something. Asparuh was not going to let her leave for a little while, to ensure the safety of the Zhefarovich family. "What is the rush? Look, you are looking for a library, and happened to have found someone that takes trips there regularly. And you got a real treat seeing me completely naked. Not many have seen that. Only one, and that was a mistake. Those Italian women are sure feisty. So, I will personally escort you down to the library." Benji figured that with what he was telling her, she would at least calm down a bit. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders and he led her (well, more like dragged her) down the corridor. It was almost like he was excited to take her down there or something. Truth be told, he had better things to do than to lead someone that was brightened to death of any sort of movement from him, but she needed some help. She wanted to go to the library, and to the library she was going to go. However whether or not he was going to stick around, he was unsure. He had not decided that just yet, but perhaps he would here in a few moments. It was not long with a couple of turns and through a pair of doors did he actually go through with what he said and found the library for the woman. "No harm done," said Benjamen as he freed her from his grip, "this would be one of the Zhefarovich libraries. You will find whatever book you want, except those related to the Dark Arts. There is another library for that. So, enjoy, Miss Baros." He waited by the doorway to see if she would want to wonder into the large room, or if she would take off.

Viviana shook her head, trying to rid the image of his naked body out of her mind. Ivy had seen a man in the nude before. That wasn’t the issue she was having right now. What bothered her was that he was the man who had tried to kill her. It felt like she was committing a sin when she looked at him in such a manner. "I can’t believe he’s allowed to live in the same building as me." Viviana thought to herself as she turned her head to glance at the closed door. Many of his relatives knew that she was terrified of him. So why did they allow her to live in the same wing as he did? Viviana jumped back when the door opened, and the object of Viviana’s fear firmly took a hold of her shoulder. Instantly, it brought back memories of that night, and she felt sick. Viviana whimpered. Was he going to hurt her again? He started to talk her about feisty Italian women and escorting her to the library, but the entire time all Viviana was able to do was stare at him like he had grown a third heard or something. Her legs were shaking ever so slightly. There was nothing but pure fear radiating off of her. Was he just messing around with her? Surely he knew she was terrified of him and was merely just having his fun. Viviana tried her hardest to struggle away from him, but it all wound up in vain because he was too strong. He indeed took her to the library, but Viviana didn’t dare step inside. Instead she started to back up slowly. At least until she was a good couple of feet from the tall man. When she felt like she was far enough she broke off into a steady run, back to her room where she figured she’d be better of staying from now on.

It had been quite a bit of time since her last encounter with the man she had come to know as Benjamen. Everyone else seemed to refer to him as Benji, but Viviana refused to do so. She hated that man for doing this to her, for causing her to leave in such a strange place with fear and regret in her heart. Viviana Baros was currently sketching in an abandoned room. Sketching used to be one of Viviana’s favorite hobbies, but ever since that day, she found it harder to execute. The brunette already had one of her older sketches laid out for to be touched up with the finishing features, but it wasn’t working out. When Viviana was beaten by Benjamen, he had done extreme damage to her wrist, damage that couldn’t even fully be healed by magic. Every time Viviana put extreme pressure on it, her entire hand began to shake. It made sketching in detail close to impossible, not to mention pretty much ruined her drawing. Viviana finally got so frustrated with trying to fix the picture, that after an hour of trying, she finally decided she had had enough and dropped the pencil. Then, with a swift motion, she took the sketch and crumpled it up. Along with her wrist, there were a couple of things she knew would never heal fully. But they never prevented her from doing physical. Viviana already felt ugly with the scars he had given her, but now he had taken her ability to draw too. "I give up. He wins." He won the battle. He had proven his point. Viviana was stupid for crossing him. All she wanted was her life back. Viviana released a frustrated sigh and brushed her hair back behind her ears. Were they ever going to allow her to leave this place and go back home?

It had been a while since Benjamen showed Viviana the library but she ran off, frightened like a little animal. It was still somewhat cute, but Benjamen did not know how to reach her completely just yet. Benji wondered more about her. Ever since he just saw her after he was thrown by his father, she was just beautiful, radiant. There had to be more to her, and now that she was staying with them, she would become a better person or something. Someone worth hanging around while he was not able to hang around with Ivy. Although at first, he did not want to be around her, but now, he was wanting to, and finding himself to like her even just a bit. Perhaps not to extent of Axel, but he still liked her. Benji found himself fighting for her affections instead of fighting Axel just for the fun of it. It seemed like the little plan he had was backfiring, and there was nothing he could do about it. Except try to find a way out of it. He sighed and he sat in his room at this point. He continued to write a bit in his master journal, keeping a record of all of the potions he had made, poisons or those that had helped him out and others. There inside held all of the secrets he placed in his potions, some of which were better off in secret. He supplied to many, and he used some of the most absurd ingredients, sometimes his own blood just to experiment what sort of magical properties blood had. Then again he wanted a part-Veela to experiment on. Cause he wanted to cut them open, see within and wonder if they glimmered and if their skeletons were as pretty as what they looked like on the outside. How they shone with brilliance and could charm someone with ease. There had to be something that was within. He was wondering how they worked.

The Zhefarovich man could not focus because of Ivy. She crept into his mind like some sort of temptress, and he was getting aggravated with it. He could not work, and he just slammed his book shut. He did not know what happened. He was not supposed to like her. He just wasn't. Something changed, and he hated it. Benjamen shook his head and he stood on his feet. He wiped off his hands on his shirt and he walked out of his bedroom, leaving the bedroom locked behind him. The last thing he wanted was children to go in there to sneak around. Benjamen walked around the corridor, but he stopped at the empty room that had none other than Viviana Baros within. She had a large suite, had elves doing whatever she wanted them to do, but she wasn't happy. What was missing? He leaned against the doorway, peering in. She was drawing? He never knew that she was an artist. Benji slowly, and silently entered the room and he saw a bit of the drawing. In his opinion, it was good, but she was having trouble? She then crumpled it up like it was some sort of trash. Benjamen knew for sure now, that there was more to her than just a pretty face. Now that was interesting. "You shouldn't have crumpled it up, it looked pretty good," remarked the Scitorari male with a smirk upon his lips. He was announcing himself to her as well, that he was in here at least. And he was in the way of the door, so it wouldn't be like she could run without getting caught. Benjamen wondered if there was something wrong, but he was still determined to be one of those that would know her more. "Never knew you were such an artist. Such a pretty face, a feisty attitude covering up such an artistic ability within. Never would have imagined."

Viviana jumped when she heard someone speak up from behind her. Viviana had no idea that anyone else was even in here. The brunette turned her head and head and glanced around to see who it was. When she was finally able to take in his form, her stomach dropped. It was was none other than Benjamen. The man that had attacked her and ruined her life. It seemed like no matter what she tried to tell herself, she just couldn't shake her fear of him. He was so much larger than she was, he could snap her tiny wrists in a matter of seconds. He had already done it one. Viviana could barely imagine how much it would hurt a second time. Viviana tensed up and lowered her gaze to the floor. If she looked him in the eye he would probably feel threatened and attack her again. Viviana didn't want to go through that experience ever again. During her time here she was told that she needed to be more bold, so even though she was scared of him, Viviana knew that she needed to be more bold. Maybe then he would leave her be and go mess with someone else. Like that little blonde he was chasing after. "Don't talk to me." Viviana said softly, with a hint of coldness lacing her voice. Although it was much more bold then running, if one looked close they could see that she was shaking ever so slightly out of fear. The crumpled piece of paper caught her eyes and she scoffed. He had no idea how much he had destroyed for her, did he? Viviana wanted to run, she wanted to escape, but he was blocking the only exit. He was trapping her in this room with him. Viviana's anxiety only grew worse as he spoke to her again.

Viviana wanted to tell him that she wasn't an Artist anymore. Not thanks to him. She ignored the fact that he had told her that she had a pretty face. Did he remember how bruised and disfigured it was after he had tortured her? She was pretty sure he had called her ugly various times in the midst of beating her. So what was she? Ugly or pretty? If Viviana had to be honest she would admit that being around Benjamen never made her feel uglier than anything. "Leave me alone." Viviana still refused to look him in the eye as she packed up her portfolio and stood up, shakily leaning down to pick up the ball of paper she had crumpled up. Viviana would not litter when this wasn't her home. "Please move." Viviana was showing her more feisty nature but she was so scared that it sounded almost as if she didn't even mean it. He wouldn't really trap her in here would he? Viviana made sure that she left him be, so he in turn would leave her be. Right now she was too delicate to face him just yet. He must know that too, why else would keep botherig her for no reason? He hated her, so he shouldn't want to talk to her? Or be round her? Or mess with her. Why couldn't he and this family just let her be? Viviana stood in front of him, he was so tall and intimidating. But according to the blonde girl named Ivy, he had a passionate side to him. Viviana didn't think this was true, she had never seen his caring side so how was she supposed to believe something like that?

Benjamen smirked faintly when Viviana jumped a bit when she heard his voice. Now that was entertainment right there. He could see the fear in her eyes, and it gave him some pleasure. He loved seeing people afraid of him. It was a real turn on. Though she might not appreciate it so much, being scared relentlessly by him. He just wanted to hang out and have some fun, but she just would not shake her fear of him! He was pretty cuddly if one asked him his opinion of it. Could he be blamed? He knew what he looked like. Pretty damn handsome. She said not to talk to him, and he smirked and snickered at the same time. Oh how amusing! He shrugged and he replied casually, "Oh but too late. You can't stop me from talking to you. Though the coldness in your voice is really sexy. You should use that tone more often." It was true. He did want her to use that voice more often. He would be lying if he told someone that he was not attracted to her. Ever since Asparuh came home, he had been attracted to her beauty. She was classy too, his perfect woman! Only thing was, she was petrified of him since he beat her half to death. He felt bad about it, but should he be punished like this? He could see that she was wanting to run too. Benjamen was positive that he had blocked her only exit. The room was lucky enough to not have a single window in it, so she could not jump out and get lost into the woods. Or into the lake that was cursed. Well, he did not know if it was cursed or not, but he was positive that no one swam in it because it looked as black as night.

When she told him to leave her alone, Benjamen only laughed even more. She had such a tongue on her! Well, she did not sound like she meant it. So he did not budge an inch. "Awwh, I was complimenting you and your skills, and you tell me to leave you alone. Seems like I am going to have to work hard for your affections. Don't worry, I like me a challenge." He winked one of his onyx eyes, and he smirked even more. He was so amused with what he was seeing right now. She still had yet to look him in the eye! That was amusing too. He looked down as Viviana was picking up her portfolio, and then picked up the ball of paper. Was she about to throw it away? Oh he would not let her. She asked him to move, but Benjamen once more, did not budge. She sounded even feistier than before, which kept that cocky smirk present on his lips. She stood in front of him, and felt as though she was trying to get away from him. But it did not seem that way right now. Benjamen then decided to mess with her a bit. He suddenly moved and pulled Viviana into his chest, giving her a hug. "Viviana, you should know that if you wanted a hug, all you had to do was ask." Of course he knew that this might freak her out a bit, but maybe after some physical contact, then she might not be so afraid? Benjamen liked Ivy right now too, but he liked Viviana as well. If he had to choose, he would not know which to pick. "See? I'm not so scary now, am I?" Now he was just being an ass, but it was fun too.

Viviana wasn't sure that she was seeing the same man that had viciously beat her that day. That day his eyes were filled with such anger and hated, Vivi could practically see the fire burning within them. He wanted her dead that night, and he might have gotten his wish if it hadn't been for Axel. Now he was all cuddly and flirtatious. Viviana was almost convinced that he might just be one big charade that was supposed to get Viviana to lower her defenses enough for him to break her once more. Why else would he tear her apart like he did then suddenly act as if it hadn't happened at all. Viviana narrowed her pale green eyes and stared at Benjamen. She couldn't stop him from talking to her? Of course she could! If she walked away and simply stopped listening to him. Viviana went to turn away from the man, but his comment about her voice sounding cold was sexy to him, and that she should use it some more. Viviana's face suddenly flushed red with anger and embarrassment, why was he doing this to her? "Sexy to you? How about that night you nearly killed me?! You certainly didn't find it at all alluring then!" Viviana understood that her elegant mannerisms and softness would probably not intimidate him one bit when it came to her yelling, but she had to at least express the fact that he didn't have a right to comment on her tone now, when she had spoken coldly to him the night he had nearly killed her. Viviana once more, hurried to reach the exit less than a couple of feet away. However, Benjamen's broad figure did a good job at blocking the entire doorway. Viviana tensed up and turned her head and began to scour the room in search of a window. Sadly there wasn't a single one.

"A-affections? No. There will be no affections to be won, I am terrified of you. I hate you. You're....you're so weird. Or maybe bipolar even, but most certainly you are not right in the head." Viviana's voice still might have been soft, but it was now laced with a bit of fury as well. Of course, Viviana didn't truly hate him, she didn't have the heart to hate anyone. But she was scared and thought that if she showed him that she could be just as angry as he could, maybe he would sense that she really didn't want to be messed with and leave her be for a little while. It didn't help that she was trying to move him and he refused to budge though. Did he think it would be amusing to mess with her like this? Viviana tried with all her might, but not even the slightest sway posture was felt. Viviana stomped her left foot in frustration. If he was really trying to win her affections, he wasn't doing a very good job in doing so. Viviana attempted one more time, only to cry out in fright when she felt Benjamen wrap his arms around her and pull her to his chest. Surely right then and there he thought he was going to break her in half finally, but instead it was revealed that he was merely giving her a hug. Viviana began to shake in fear. This was too close for her. As soon as she released, out of fear and finally having enough, Viviana brought her hand out and slapped Benjamen straight cross the face. "I said quit it!" Viviana's voice had lost the softness by this point. He had overstepped her line of patience. Viviana could only be the meek and shy little mouse for so long.

Benjamen thought for a moment, and he shook his head. It was not alluring to him then, but he could change his mind, right? He knew women had issues with that, but men never did. Benjamen sighed and he hoped that Viviana would stop flushing so much, since she was looking cuter and cuter. Being all angry, it was just adorable. "That night was a little different. It was a misunderstanding, let bygones be bygones. Plus I can change my mind, can't I?" Benjamen thought that he could change his mind over what he had thought of Viviana. It was like when his father returned and he was tossed around like a ragdoll, he got to see Viviana for the first time, and it was incredible. She still seemed like she was flushing and he decided that he would comment on it, make her feel better, or worse, he was just telling the truth. There was just something about her that enticed him, and he would love to make her his, one way or another. Though he did want Ivy, in a very subtle way, but deep inside, he knew that he had one or the other. Right now, he was far more interested in Viviana right now. She was cute, adorable and most of all, she had a lot of class to her. She was elegant too. "And just so you know, you are adorable when you are mad and flushing with red. Keep it up and I really won't leave the room. Or let you leave." Benjamen was simply messing around with her, but the facts were still there. He thought that she was one of those women that he could easily find himself married to in the future, but he did not know how to initiate it with Viviana if she would just open up and see that he was actually a really good catch.

She stated that she was terrified of him, and hated him. Benjamen knew hate, he was an expert in it. He knew what hate looked like and she most certainly did not hate him. But he did see fear a lot. Well she would just have to get over that. "I'm am most certainly right in the head. I think you just need some alone time with me, and by the end of the day, you'll love me. Or at least stop shaking every time with fear and replace that with excitement. As long as you are human, there are affections to be won. You'll come to love me, eventually." It was a fact, and he was positive that one day, she would come around at some point. He would just have to be around her, even if she did not want to. Until the family thought that she was good to leave, she would be stuck here, and Benjamen would take advantage of it. She was getting frustrated too. During the hug, she was shaking with fear, which he did not see why. What was so wrong with physical contact? However as soon as he had released her, her hand went straight across his cheek, and not in the sweet manner either. It actually stung. One of his hands went to his cheek where it was slightly red now from the slap. She said to quit it, and he raised an eyebrow. "Wow, never knew you had such spunk. I like that." Benjamen then folded his arms across his chest, and the smirk curled across his lips. One that one could see that it was full of mischief. "If you want to slap me again, feel free. I liked it, so if you really want me to go, you'll have to try something better than that. Or just talk. If I don't like what I see, then I'll leave. But until then... You are stuck, little mouse."

Viviana paused when Benjamen pointed out that he could change his mind because everything that had happened that night she was beaten was nothing more than a mere misunderstanding between the two of them. Suddenly Viviana wanted to kick him. "Well that's easy for you to say. You weren't the one bleeding to death. I thought I was going to die that night. Then your brother saved me. But tells me that I can't go home....and then you tell me you've 'changed your mind?" Viviana was truly furious by this point. How could he hurt her like that then just try to act like nothing had happened. Was he really that cruel? Or was him attacking her all in good fun? It didn't feel like it meant nothing, he had put her through so much pain that night. Viviana had wished that he would have just let her die instead of leaving her to be found by his brother, then she wouldn't have to go through all of this. Viviana missed her brother and her home more than anything. Why did they insist on keeping her here when they knew she was too scared to say anything. Even if she did open her mouth, it wasn't like anything could be done. This place was so secluded and quiet, no one would ever be able to locate it. Viviana crossed her arms over her chest, almost as if she was pouting about him finding her adorable when she was mad. It made her wonder how he felt when he saw the fear in her eyes that night. "You're so unusual." Viviana threw in, her eyebrows furrowing as she did so. Why on earth would he find her anger and frustration cute? Most people hated to be around others when they were mad, yet this guy enjoyed it.

"But I don't want to spend any time alone with you. I just want you to leave me alone. I'd be more than content with just staying in my room as long I was able to get food and some way to entertain myself if that makes it easier for you to just let me be. There is no way I could ever allow myself to fall for such a monster." Viviana glanced down, not finding herself able to look him in the eye as she called him a monster. The brunette didn't want to see his reaction to her harsh words. Even though Viviana disliked him, her heart didn't like to see others suffer because of another person. Perhaps that made her soft, but it also made her incredibly human. Viviana didn't want to feel anything for Benjamen though, especially not after he almost killed her. After Viviana slapped Benjamen, she remained motionless for a moment, unsure whether or not he was going to hurt her for doing that. But instead he seemed to enjoy it. Viviana felt defeated. There was nothing that was going to phase him was there? Viviana sighed and looked away. "If I talk to you, will you go away and leave me alone?" Viviana crossed her arms once again. Maybe if she actually let him talk to her for like five minutes or something, he'd let her go and he would leave her alone. Viviana couldn't think of any other way, especially since she couldn't manually move him herself. Viviana stared up at him with her pale green eyes and awaited to see what he was going to say or do about her offer.

Benjamen could not resist laughing to some extent. She was too adorable, and it seemed like she was only getting madder and madder. He wondered how mad she could actually get before she ended up snapping on him. There had to be something that he could do to make her understand. She seemed just so furious right now. "A near death experience is not so bad, Vivi. I had a few myself because when the Patriarch came back, he really taught me a lesson. He also agrees that you cannot go home until you can be trusted. Probably should have had your memories wiped. But I suppose if you did, then you would not have seen my glorious naked body." The smirk on his lips did not fade at all. He was enjoying this, perhaps too much with the woman that he nearly destroyed once. He would not do that again, no matter how mad that she made him. She already slapped the sh*t out of him, what more did she want to do to him? Tie him up, drip candle wax on his chest? All of those thoughts were making him lustful after her. Benjamen shifted a bit in his stance and looked down upon her graceful body. No matter what he had done to it, she still looked like an angel. There was nothing that could change that. Well, there might be a few things. However he was not about to turn her into a slothful demon. That would destroy her and make her unattractive. He had to do something before he felt like he needed a cold shower. However after some thoughts, he was back to normal. She called him unusual and he shrugged his large shoulders. He knew that he was, and he did not have anything to say once he had heard that. There was no witty comeback to something that was absolutely true.

The more she went on, the more he wanted to tune her out, but she was making some fair points. She said that she would never allow herself to fall for a monster, but she could not even look him in the eyes and say that. He smirked even more, almost like there was some evilness behind it, which there was a fraction as he allowed it to pass through, "If there was no way, you could have looked me in the eyes and say so. But I know that deep down, further than you ever would look, you might. You might find this ‘monster’ handsome for the thrill and danger. You will be curious about why I am the way I am, and in the end, you will be attracted to me. Especially since arrogance like what I have is particularly sexy." Benjamen was incredibly arrogant, conceited, and knew for a fact that he was an ass. There was nothing he could do to change that, but it was something that most women actually liked, and he was going to play on that to get her to swoon for him. Ivy kind of does on her own, but Viviana on the other hand, she was a challenge. And he never backed away from a challenge. She might have complied to what he had proposed, but he was going by what he had wagered instead. "If I don’t enjoy what I am dealing with, then yes. Who knows, you might find me incredibly lovable." He approached her slowly before snaking his arm around her, to lead her to the bed where they can sit down. "Here is an easy subject, tell me about your family. I heard they are pure-bloods."

It seemed like no matter what Viviana said or did, it wasn't quite getting through to Benjamen. Perhaps all he really wanted to do was make amends with Viviana, but she wanted him to understand the severity of his actions. "So I'm basically stuck here forever then? Awesome." Viviana didn't want to be here forever, but she was sure that these people were never going to fully trust her. Not that she blamed them, though. A lot of people in her situation would have run and told. Viviana never wanted to bring the authorities into this, mostly due to fear that more people would get hurt in the process. But also, Viviana wanted the fear to end more than she wanted anything else. Benjamen kept going on about how she should have had her memories wiped, but if she had then she wouldn't have been able to see his so called naked body. Viviana began to blush furiously at the very mention of that incident. In all honesty, she was so shocked that she had walked in on him showering that she was barely able to take in a mental image of his body. Viviana wasn't going to tell him that though, since she worried he might take that as an invitation to take his clothes off. "Do you have any sort of modesty?" Viviana hissed. Was this how he tried to attract women? Viviana thought her brother could be arrogant at times, but this guy most certainly took the cake. Benjamen practically reeked of arrogance. Did he think that Viviana was going to respond to him being like this, or was this a natural thing? It kind of made Viviana want to slap him upside the face again. But she withheld, he seemed to like being slapped around.

Viviana frowned. "I don't like to look you in the eyes regardless. Last time I did that, you were trying to break my neck. So no thanks." Viviana felt like looking into his eyes might provoke him to attack her again, or assume that she was comfortable around him. "Keep living in your dream world, Mr. Zhefarovich." Viviana rolled her eyes and returned her eyes to her empty laugh. Viviana actually loved men with arrogance, her late husband was quite bad himself. But Viviana was trying to do everything she could to distance herself from Benjamen. Even if it meant going against the things she once believed in. Viviana hoped that if she sat down and talked to him for awhile, that he would leave her be. Viviana tensed up when Benjamen approached her and snaked a large arm around her to sit her down. However, the moment Viviana was able to sit down, she hissed for him not to touch her and immediately wiggled her way away from his arm, as well as a few feet away from his body in general. Benjamen then proceeded to question her about her family, starting off with their blood status. "What is it with you people and blood? Fine, family it is then. We are pure bloods, but both of my parents are dead. I have four brothers, and no sisters. I was married once, but my husband was killed and I have no children. I almost did, but.....nevermind. There...are you satisfied?" Viviana explained a little bit about her family. How she only had her brothers left because her parents and her husband were all gone. Viviana was almost a mother once too, but fate decided that she wasn't quite ready and that too became a thing of the past. Hopefully Benjamen was satisfied and was willing to let her leave now.

Benjamen noticed the way she said that she was stuck here forever like it was such a bad thing. It really wasn't. Okay so there was a chance of someone getting slaughtered but someone could be attacked by a dragon tomorrow, one just never knows. "Oh it isn't so bad being here, just imagine it as a really long vacation from employment, bad family and whatnot. Plus we have the best clothing and servants, what more can a woman ask for?" Then again, he did not know women that well, so he honestly did not know what a woman would really want. He would have to think of his daughter, and to be honest, he still did not think that he knew her enough to really say. Then she started to blush even more as he knew that she was recalling that incident. If he wanted to make her blush now, all he had to do was either get naked, or remind her of him naked. 'This could be really fun,' thought Benjamen with a mischievous smirk painted upon those lips. She asked him, or rather hiss, if he had any form of modesty. He thought for a moment before shaking his head, "Nope. Not even a little bit. But to be fair, you did walk into my room while I was still undressed and wet from the shower. I can gloat about how you blushed, and continue to do so. It is flattering really." He knew that he might get slapped again, but he was somewhat wanting it too. That smirk of his had yet to leave that face of his either. It was just something he could not help. But he still thought that Viviana liked it. What was not to like? He sighed when she brought up the fact that he was trying to break her neck the last time. Benjamen stated, holding his tongue from what he was really thinking, "That was one time. It isn't like I am going to try it again unless it is on one of my brothers. By the way, feel free to call me Benjamen, or Benji. Mr. Zhefarovich sounds too much like what others call my father. Although if you want to call me anything else, feel free. Like God, Thor, or even stud."

Of course he was pushing his luck with anything besides his name, or something even worse. But it was still something. He liked to insert a joke here or there even if it was clearly unwanted. He knew that she would tense up when they had contact, but one day she would be snuggled up next to him, craving what he was craving now which was some love. Or lust, whichever worked. Once she was seated on the bed, she hissed at him and wiggled away. He chuckled as he sat down on the bed as well, actually keeping his distance from her. She asked what it was with them and blood, before she went on about her family. Her husband was killed, and she did not have any kids. She almost did. Did that mean that she was pregnant and miscarried? "Well, we ally ourselves with other pure-bloods to keep the purity going. Mostly. Sorry about your folks, and your husband though. Never would have thought that about you. Never thought you were an artist either... But no, not really satisfied. I want to know more about you." Benjamen paused for a moment, and he reached down inside of his pocket to retrieve his wallet. He opened it and he took out a picture. He slowly held it out for Viviana to look at, "You know I have a ton of siblings. My father is alive, a bit of an ass still. My mother died in childbirth to the next prodigy of the family. And that picture is my daughter. Didn't know about her for years, and hated kids until Axel found her. She's practically my life now." Funny how Alaska managed to soften him up. In fact, the whole attack thing came before he found Alaska if he was not mistaken.

Benjamen tried to argue that it wasn't as bad as she thought it was here. Viviana instantly forced herself to contain a snort. Of course it wasn't that bad to him, he had grown up here! Chances were high that he had never live anywhere else other than this house, so how could he compare? Plus he shared the same blood with these people, he didn't constantly feel like he was walking on eggshells. "Vacation's are supposed to be relaxing, not stressful." Viviana explained, her voice softer than ever. The last thing she wanted to do was make it seem like she was insulting this man's home and family. It just felt as if Viviana didn't fit in here. Viviana was being kept here against her will because they didn't trust her. That meant that subconsciously, everyone was watching her all of the time. Viviana fought back another blush as Benjamen began to remind her about how she had walked into his room while he was undressed. "That was an accident! This house is so big, and the only room I honestly know how to find is my bedroom! You should keep your door locked if you don't want people to walk in on you! OH-and the only reason I blushed was because I'm unaccustomed to seeing such things, thank you very much." He honestly didn't have any sense of decency did he? Viviana reckoned that he thought the entire situation was more funny than anything. He was almost as vulgar as the blonde woman Viviana had met the other day. Ivy was her name. For a woman she had little sense of decency either, at least she was friendly. Viviana's eyes narrowed when Benjamen explained that he would prefer if she called him something else other than Mr. Zhefarovich. Apparently he thought that she thought more of him than she really did.

"I think I like Mr. Zhefarovich." Viviana responded coldly. Her pale green eyes fixing on his form, silently telling him that he didn't deserve to be called such a name yet. After what he had done to her, Viviana would need some time before she felt comfortable calling him anything else but a monster. "I think you all are going to make yourselves miserable with how much you focus on blood. If you all took like five minutes to breath instead of worrying about blood you'd all be a lot happier." Viviana didn't think he would listen, but it was worth a try. "There's a lot you don't know. I think I've told you enough, though." Viviana didn't feel like sharing more about herself with Benjamen. There was a part of her that didn't want to trust him, and that was the part keeping her from opening up to him. When Benjamen mentioned that he had a daughter, Viviana paused. Him having a daughter was the last thing she expected him to tell her, and that suddenly interested Viviana. Viviana leaned over to get a better look at the girl in the picture. Much to her surprise, she had seen this girl around the Manor a couple of times. Not once had she taken the chance to speak with her. The girl actually looked as if she preferred to be left alone. "She has your nose. To be honest, you having a daughter is something I didn't expect. It makes you more human than you probably are." Viviana turned away from Benjamen and stared down at the floor. As much as she didn't want to admit it, him having a daughter changed a lot of what she saw about him, and that wasn't something she expected.

Benjamen heard her say that vacations were meant to be relaxing, and not stressful. He did know a few things to really release that stress but he doubted that she would agree. So he decided to ignore that part. He instead simply snickered before the look of what he was really thinking flashed on his expression for a few seconds as he contained it. It only took him so long to get it contained. Then she said that her walking in on him was an accident, which he did actually believe. And then explained the only reason why she had blushed. He gave her a smirk and he stated, "One day, I can give you so much more to look at, but you have to be open to it. Plus you are still blushing, which I must say is adorable, so you might as well walk in on me anytime. You'll get used to seeing something as magnificent as me naked." He winked at her, perhaps he was playing with her, but he was also open to letting her walk in one him anytime she wanted. He did not mind that at all. However when she said that she thought that she liked Mr. Zhefarovich, he put a hand over his heart and mouthed, 'Ouch.' That was somewhat mean, but well, he liked it and he could live with it. He would have to. But he really wanted to be able to help her too. He wanted her to open up to him, and wanted her to become a little more comfortable. But he knew that it would be a challenge, and he was willing to accept that challenge with dignity.

"We do breathe, honey. That is how we are living right now," Benjamen did not know if she was being sarcastic or not, but it was true. He knew that his family were big on blood, but what of it? It was not a crime. Benjamen pouted a bit when she said that there was a lot that he did not know, and that she thought that she had told him enough. He wanted to know more. When he showed her a picture of his daughter Alaska, she seemed highly interested. Benjamen thought that he might be reeling her in, and he wanted to keep her interested in his life. It was something that he really wanted to her to know. Maybe if she knew more about him, then she would open up to him more. Benjamen looked down and he nodded as he put the picture away, "Yeah, I know I seem to be more godly than human, but I suppose I have emotions. This girl has me wrapped around her finger. Never thought I would be like that toward anyone in my life." Benjamen was being honest, but he figured that now would be a good time to leave her alone. If he left her alone with those thoughts, then she might think better of him. With her being kind of close, Benjamen had another idea. He swiftly planted his lips upon hers in a quick, gentle kiss. He then got up and he gave her a wave as he left the room quickly with a cocky smirk on his face.

Viviana didn't want to walk on him while he was undressed. Even if they were dating or married, chances were high that Viviana would still find it uncomfortable. Viviana wasn't quite used to it, so it made her feel uneasy. Her former husband used to find it really funny that she felt so uneasy about the whole thing. It didn't hep that Viviana wasn't so fond of Benjamen either. "No really, you should keep your door locked. I really don't wanted to see anyone else in this house naked Especially you." Viviana explained, looking him dead in the eye to show that she was fully serious about the whole thing. Maybe she needed to start asking where things were located in the house rather than trying to find them on her own, it seemed to only get her into trouble. "I'd prefer if you didn't call me Vivi either, but I can't really control what you do either." Vivi was a nickname that those close to her used. Yet, it seemed like every single person in the house seemed to call her that instead of the actual name that she bore, Viviana. Did they already feel comfortable around her, or were they just lazy?

It was weird to think of Benjamen having a daughter. At least in Viviana's opinion it was. He didn't seem ike he could be soft enough of a man to have a daughter. "I think that's really sweet actually-ugh!" Viviana was about to comment on him having a daughter and it being one of the sweetest things she had ever heard. Benjamen interrupted her comment by leaning over and planting a kiss right on her, ignoring the fact that she didn't want him to do that. Viviana wiped her lips and glared at him. Did he even understand the word no? He gave a wave and tried to leave the room but Viviana wasn't having any of that. Grabbing the nearest book she could find, Viviana trucked after Benjamen, and when she thought she was close enough, she hurled the book in his direction. "That is why you're single! You have no idea how to impress a lady...or respect her personal space. You're lucky I didn't bite your freaking lips off!" After saying it, Viviana realized that she probably should have just kept her mouth shut, but she was pretty mad that Benjamen seemed to care so little about how she felt when she was near him. Fear, and a lot of it.

She said that she should keep his door locked, and that just did not seem like it would be very fun at all. Benjamen did not want to her to go without having the chance to see his glorious body once more. He looked her over before he smirked, knowing she was serious but he did not really care, "And think that I block a chance of me seeing you while I am fresh out of the shower and naked? Not likely." Benjamen knew that he would probably get slapped again for that, but he did not really care either. He liked messing with her, making her blush and whatnot. It was just funny to him, and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Plus he had a thing for Viviana, so it really helped. Then she stated that she preferred not to be called Vivi, but she could not control what he could do. Well, that was definitely true. There was nothing she could do to stop him and what he wanted to call her. "Indeed you cannot, Vivi." He tossed another smirk at her, knowing that it might not be what she wanted him to call her, but he did anyway just to get her riled up a bit. It was really fun.

As soon as he had kissed her, Benjamen knew that he had overstepped his bounds, and thought that she might really hate it. But what did he think? Doesn't matter, had a kiss. After he had left the room, he heard her coming after him, which was shocking. He smirked to himself, expecting something thrown or her to catch up to him, and hit him. Either way, she was feisty and he liked it. He really liked it. Benjamen however was not quick enough to dodge the book. It slammed against the back of his head and fell to the ground. Benjamen reached around and rubbed at the spot that the book hit. Wow that actually hurt. The words of hers did not, since he did not really mind them. The last part made him turn around and he approached her, a serious expression crossed his face. "You hit me with a book in the back of my head. You slapped me across the face and now you are threatening to bite my lips off? Wow you are so feisty. Keep that quality, you will definitely get far." He patted her head like she was a kid before he folded his arms across his chest, "Have anything else to hit me with? Keep going and it could lead in a whole new direction."

Viviana flushed once again. This man had no shame and he appeared to enjoy the fact that he was good at making her blush. Actually, she wasn't even fully sure why she was blushing. Benjamen deserved to have that book thrown at him. Then he softly pat her head and Viviana's blush faded into a scowl that marred her face. "Why does it look like you enjoy the torture? Is there anything you find repelling?" Was there nothing Viviana could do that would do the opposite of what she was doing now. It would appear as if her mousiness and her anger attracted him, and Viviana was starting to see that no matter what she said or did, Benjamen was finding it to me more of a thrill than a threat. Viviana would hate to imagine the kind of women he liked to spend his nights with. Well, Viviana already knew of one. That blonde headed woman that sometimes came around with Axel. Benjamen seems fairly into her, or maybe he was trying to get a rise out of his brother. Viviana had been quietly observing the situation from afar so her thoughts were purely based on what she had seen transpire between the three of them.

"No." Viviana crossed her arms over her chest and Stared up at Benjamen, trying not to show that some part of her was still very much intimidated by his presence, though slowly she was beginning to fear him less. If he was going to keep to his word, then she should be safe. Even if he was upset. "I doubt that anything like that would ever transpire between the two of us. You're not my type, and I don't particularly like you very much. You could always ask Ivy though, you two seem pretty close." Viviana threw in, wondering if that would hit some sort of spark within Benjamen or not. Not only the whole thing about him and Ivy clearly having a thing, but also the fact that he wasn't her type and would likely never have her following him around in the same manner that Ivy did. Viviana really liked romance. Simple gestures, or nice dinners. Someone to sweep her off of her feet, not act like some wild animal. Viviana doubted that she would ever get married with the rate she was going. She was married once, but that clearly just wasn't meant to be.

Viviana was just too cute for words. She must realize this over anything else. After all, she seemed like the type that would be pretty intelligent. That was a quality that Benjamen looked for in a woman. Intelligence was sexy. He found it to be one of the highest forms of flattery, when a woman used her brain. Viviana appeared to have that feature with her, but Ivy did not. "I do love torture, giving or receiving. What I find repelling? Hmm, perhaps mudbloods and half-breeds. Both of which, you are not." Benjamen winked at her before he wondered what she would have to say about that. Benjamen had a way with words, and he could definitely use them against someone if he wanted to. But, anything that Viviana could try to use as a way to repel him, it would not work. When someone caught Benjamen's eye, he went after them. There was no way to stop it. That did not mean that his attention could not be separated into two different people. That was why he was going after Ivy and Viviana. Whichever one that finally gives in, he would settle for. Right now, he really liked them both. However, he would have to work more with Viviana. Was she worth it?

That one two letter word really made Benjamen frown, but not look like he was going to hurt her either. He did not want to hear that from her. And she doubted that anything like that would ever transpire between the two of them. He was not her type and she did not like him very much. He ignored the part with Ivy though, since he did not want to think about her. Benjamen then ran his fingers through his hair and he snorted, "Vivi, babe, I am everyone's type if I really want to be. Like I said, in time, you will come to adore me, one way or another. After all, when I see someone that is definitely worth my time, I go for them." Benjamen paused for a moment to take in Viviana's features. Did she know that she had one tremendous body? He would love to see her step out of a shower one day. Then the two of them would be even. "Besides, I kind of think that Ivy is not that smart. And, one day, my brother will win her over and not me. It normally comes out like that anyway. I mean, Axel is the future Head. I'm just the potions maker." Benjamen cleverly hid the fact that it bothered him. She did not need to know that much about him. That showed weakness.

Viviana sighed and brought a pale hands up to lightly rub at her temples. She was getting nowhere with this man. Pale green eyes fell onto the tall giant in front of her before Viviana stiffly shook her head at his behavior. "You are possibly one of the most frustrating human beings to deal with, ever." It was obvious why he didn't have any friends, he likely just drove them nuts before they could ever take the chance to really get to know him. Did he even realize how frustrated Viviana was fright now. Though she was still afraid of him, it was hard for her to resist the urge to throw things at him. "There's got to be other things that you find unattractive in a woman. Just saying." Viviana refused to believe that blood was the only thing that he absolutely couldn't stand for when he was looking to being in a relationship with someone. Viviana had at least a dozen things she looked for when she was looking at someone she might want to be with. So far, Benjamen had broken just about every single one of her rules, and it would appear as if he wasn't done just yet either.

Viviana furrowed her eyebrows. "Do not call me babe. You're arrogance might be attractive to other women, but not to me. You can't possibly be everyone's type. Lastly, I doubt I'm worth even a fraction of your time. So..." Viviana didn't want to be roped up into anything involving Benjamen or his family. They scared her, and she was clearly seen as nothing but a weakling in their eyes. In fact, the one before her had almost killed her. If she was such an asset to Benjamen, why did he nearly kill her? "You know, maybe your brother gets all the things he gets because he's confident and works hard to get them? You never know." Viviana explained as she side-stepped around Benjamen. She was tired by this point, and some lunch and possibly a nap could only benefit her by this point. Despite as much as she wanted to slap him, she hoped that he would one day realize that he could be more confident and maybe he would begin to beat his brother in things. Confidence was a total killer at times, and despite his arrogance, Benjamen seemed to lack some of it.

Benjamen chuckled when she mentioned that he was probably one of the most frustrating people she had to deal with. And on a personal level too. How that was not exciting for her, he would not know. He already had things thrown at him today, so he would try to avoid that some more. He could only dodge for so long. "You will enjoy my company, believe me. I am a joy to be around." That might have been true for some people, but probably not a lot in his case. He had a few friends, but he had more connections than anything else. He thought about it and he shrugged, "Sleeping around like some modern trash is bad. And so is red hair." He smirked a bit, knowing that Viviana did not fit in any of those categories. Awwh, she did not want to be called 'babe'? Well, he could look over that. Then she mentioned how she doubted that she would be worth a fraction of his time. "Surely, a sweet thing like you does not mean that. You would be worth my time. But, am I worth yours? Well, we will see since the answer you will give me right now is a no." It just seemed like he knew her well, but he was going on what she was giving him right now. Benjamen looked away when she said that perhaps Axel gets everything because he is confident and works hard for them. That was the thing, he never did. Benjamen always worked hard, and he had confidence. It just never worked. He actually let Viviana side-step around him. He uttered, "No. I always worked hard and got nothing." He sighed and he walked down the corridor toward his room. After that, he didn't feel like talking to Viviana. Somehow, bringing up his brother just added salt to his old wounds.
