The afternoon breeze was cooling the place and the students were out enjoying the rays of the sun before dinner. Some students were in the lake while others were back in their respective common rooms. For one particular Ravenclaw, she ventured to the Hogwarts Garden for some relaxation on her first day of classes.
Alexis found a bench near some flowers to which she decided to sit down and relax her mind and muscles. First day went great although it somehow came as a shock to her that she was already starting her magical education. She didn't have any homework to do and still had about an hour before dinner. She didn't go to the lake for she knew there were many students hanging around there. This decision brought her here.
She leaned back and closed her eyes while humming some Muggle tune that she always listened to when she was at home. She was in the middle of the song when she heard some shuffling to her left and a creak of the bench which meant that someone just sat beside her. She was wondering whether to open up her eyes or wait for the newcomer to speak out.
