Open Yellow Rose for Kauri

Beata was on her second rose now. To Kauri. He walked up to the seventh floor panting, but she found the boy and held out the flower to him. "Here...you...go." she said in between breaths.

Kauri had been all up and down the castle looking for some of the people on his delivery list, and it got a little tiring. After all the time he had spent coming up here the towers had been a dead end, and he was going to head back downstairs to find his next person, when an out of breath looking girl he knew from his classes approached him with a rose. "Oh, thanks!" Kauri said happily, accepting the rose and checking the card to see who it was from.

Beata smiled at the boy as he opened the card. She had read all the notes because she was nosey, so she knew what the notes said.

Kauri beamed as he read the message, giggling slightly. He was glad to hear from April, and was more than willing to put up with her calling him a boring prefect. He'd have to thank her at the dance tonight, if there was time. It was a little strange to each have separate dates now, after so many years going to dances together as friends. Not wanting to be rude to the girl who had delivered the rose, he gave her a warm smile. "Thank you!" Kauri said happily. "Good luck on the rest of your deliveries!"
