Kaia already was convinced that she got the best people to deliver roses to. One more hero. Leader of Hogwarts Monthly. "The best person deserves the best rose," she said and handed the rose over to Nell with a cheerful smile.

I miss you

Lars

As much as she usually enjoyed the roses, Nell was doing her best to hide from the whole affair this year. She was too scared of Jasper's response to the rose she had sent to set foot outside the Monthly offices. Focusing on her work, it surprised her when a girl she didn't recognise at all walked right in and thrust a rose at her without waiting for Nell to respond. "Oh!" She said, flustered as she took the flower. "Um, thank you..." She said with a nervous smile, glancing at the girl again warily before looking at the note. Her heart melted as she read the sparse words, relief rushing over her. Though her message to Jasper had overshadowed it, Nell had been nervous about her rose to Lars too, and it was a relief to hear that he felt the same way. The last year without one of her oldest friends had been painful, and Nell was eager to rebuild that bridge, vowing to herself to talk to Lars soon.

Kaia was overly excited about everything that was going on, all the roses and all the people she delivered roses to, to remember simple manners. She acted too familiar with everyone, but even now it didn't make her feel weird, she waited a bit to see Nell's reaction and as she saw that everything was fine, and noticed that Nell was working on something, she slowly started to fade away. "I won't distract you from your work! Happy Valentine's day!" she was ready to leave and ready to stay if that was needed.

Nell hadn't realised how much lighter hearing from Lars would make her feel, and she pocketed the note quietly, making a mental note to talk to him as soon as possible. She looked up when the girl who had brought it farewelled her, giving the younger girl a small wave and a smile. "Good luck with the rest of your deliveries!" She said cheerfully, before returning her attention to her work.
