Y50 Sorting Reactions!

Sorting for Y50 (!) is still a couple of days away, but that doesn't mean we can't have some exciting sorting chats here! It's never too early, right? As always, we love to hear your thoughts and reactions as we work through the process of sorting and transfers and exchanges! This is always such a fun time!

Are you having a character sorted or transferred this year? Maybe more than one? Ten? (You know who you are. )
Are you going to try for an exchange student?
Where do you think your character will end up?

Do you think they'll be happy about where they end up? How is it going to impact their first year or their entire schooling? Do you think the sorting hat will have a difficult time placing them? Any character expecting that the sorting hat won't be able to place them and they'll have to go home?

If you've already been sorted: Did you get what you/your character expected? Did the sorting hat say something funny to you? What'd you think of that? How nervous was your character to be sorted? How nervous were you?

Very unsurprised by this hahaha!! As I filled out the form, I realised she was hoping for Puff (she values hard work and being helpful), but her adventurousness was clearly stronger. Can’t wait to see who ends up here with her hehe!!!

Excited to be part of the sorting train again!! It's been a while.

I'm sorting Novalie Rosenberg this year and I'm pretty looking forward to that, fresh energy just what I need. She's the youngest child of one of the Rosenbergs clan. Sister of Giselle Rosenberg. She loves quidditch, which is an total contrast with her older sister. And is someone with an short temper (which seems kind of in the dynamic of this family), but very energetic, honest and straightforward girl who can be an bit dramatic once in a while. But heart on the good spot and will stand up against bully's and against fake people.

I kind of think it's gonna be either Gryffindor or Slytherin vibes, no clue which one of them. But part Hufflepuff could also do now I'm thinking more of it. We'll see!

I'm pretty sure she'll be Gryffindor, but I was surprised that a bit of Ravenclaw reared its head in the form. Slytherin, too, but I think her Gryffindor traits are stronger.

So many lions! I did half wonder if I should have leaned a bit more on the claw traits for the drama but this feels right. I don't think she needs another reason to feel bad about being at the school. Lord have mercy on Cade, for Laura will be 100% petitioning for the right to access a phone. But at least she'll be happy about being in the same house as Alfred, and red isn't so bad

Yayyyyyy sorting

I wanted to wait until Amanita was sorted so that I could have Hinemoa react in her post means waiting longer to sort than I ever have before, which has been VERY WEIRD. It's finally done though, and I have NO idea where she's going.

Ravenclaw would be the obvious option, given the obvious connection, but she's definitely got a bit of a wild side that could land her in Gryffindor, and her devotion to her relationships could pull things Hufflepuff. I think Slytherin is pretty likely out, but beyond that she's a total mystery to me. Looking forward to seeing how things wind up!

I also could have seen her in Ravenclaw or maybe Slytherin, but she's definitely too nervous about following the rules for Gryffindor to have been an option.

As much fun as it would have been RPing Hinemoa having to deal with being in a different house to her mum, it's going to be great getting to RP the two of them together, and I definitely think it was the right place for her to wind up.
