Kit didn't take much time once everyone got on the field for their first practice. They had a few new chasers she needed to work on, but otherwise, their team was pretty much the same as last year. She hoped that meant they had some edge on skills over the other teams they'd be playing and could maybe win a few games this year. She looked at her team with a smile and leaned on her broom. "Alright, let's get straight into practice today. I'll be working with our new chasers on some practice techniques and passing. Beaters, don't let up. March, you do your seeker thing and then Summer, you just try to stop us from scoring. Everyone got it? Let's get going!" she said, throwing out the quaffle to one of the new chasers as the other balls made their way into the air.

Brinoy had been a little annoyed that she was playing chaser when she specifically tried out for seeker, but she supposed she was on the team. She listened to the captain's little speech and then managed to catch the quaffle before the other chaser, heading towards the hoops.

Briony decided to not share the quaffle and quickly made her way to the hoops, scoring easily. She grinned at her teammates and turned around on her broom to see which of them got the quaffle next.

Kit was glad to see Briony score but hoped that she would pass the quaffle along a bit before she did. Kit took posession of the quaffle and headed back towards Summer.

Kit went to pass the quaffle but had to narrowly dodge a bludger, bringing her closer to the hoops. She tossed it in and scored.

Briony managed to catch the quaffle when it was tossed back out and looped around, looking for a chance to score.

 

[March Chase]

March was determined that this was going to be his year and he wasn't going to let anyone get in the way of that.

With a little too much confidence, Briony tossed the quaffle toward the hoops, watching as it bounced off the edge and back towards the players.

Briony accidentally hit the wrong button got ahold of the quaffle again and managed to toss it through the hoops, but did it really count with it being done so quickly after her last attempt?

Trying to get the quaffle away from Briony, Kit grabbed ahold of it, giving the girl a look. She knew she they shared a relative, but it didn't mean Kit had to necessarily like the girl. She headed out away from the hoops to give herself a chance to pass or score.

March continued to look for the snitch

Kit failed to send the quaffle through the hoops.

Briony gladly caught the quaffle when it was thrown back out and headed towards the hoops.

Kit watched as Briony took possession of the quaffle and hoped she'd start passing and not hog the ball.

Briony could see the captain itching to get in on the play and reluctantly passed the quaffle to Kit.

Kit was surprised that Briony passed and she managed to catch the quaffle. A little too excited, she tried to score and bounced the quaffle off a hoop.
