Y42 S2 Ilvermorny Quidditch Practice

Micha was starting to feel a little disappointed with his lack of snitch sightings but he kept looking.

Zoey kept flying around the pitch trying to look busy even if the bludgers had decided to take the day off.

Abigail followed Noah, keeping a close eye on him so she could critique him later.

Nabi shot to the air and started looking around for the snitch.

Dion still wasn't managing to have bludgers make contact with players, and he shook his head slowly, pulling his scarf up over his nose.

Felicity nodded enthusiastically, cheered some at the thought as she swerved away from Dion for the moment to take a swing at a bludger. "Bribery is a very good incentive for me, we should tell Micha," she said, not entirely looking as she swung and grimacing as it hit @Yoo Hyun Ki by mistake.

Micha ducked out of the way when he saw Felicity swing. He thought he heard her say his name but she didn't seem to be talking to him so he just shot her a thumbs up before flying off to continue his search.

Zoey was a little jealous when she saw Felicity finally hit someone. She sighed and kept flying.

Abigail flew close to Noah and managed to grab the quaffle from him. She flew off with it.

Felicity beamed when she saw Micha give her a thumbs up, forgetting the chill for a little bit at the attention.

Micha was getting a little discouraged as he kept flying around the pitch. He had to find it eventually.

Zoey kept her bat tightly in her hand as she looked for bludgers. She was desperate to hit anything at this point.

Felicity let out an eep as a cold gust gave her a chill, deciding to follow Zoey around for a moment, both under the guise of getting to know the newest beater and also to use her as a wind block for a few minutes.

Dion whacked a bludger more out of frustration than trying to aim a shot, so naturally it didn't hit anyone.

Micha sighed and kept searching.

Felicity stuck with Zoey for a moment, attempting to strike up a conversation to distract herself. "So, how're you liking playing beater so far? It's pretty fun right?"

"I guess so." Zoey said as Felicity suddenly appeared beside her. "Would be more fun if I actually hit something." She didn't mean to sound so grumpy but the cold and lack of actual playing was making her loose patience.

Flick was glad Zoey seemed open to chatting, she could think of a few people on the team who might be less socially inclined. "It's not so hard, maybe just don't bend your wrist too much-" She started, slowing some to take a swing as a bludger shot past them, focusing more on contact and beaming as the bludger shot off into @Abigail Martin, though she definitely hadn't been aiming that way. "Aiming and stuff can come later," she added flippantly.

Zoey just nodded along to Felicity's advice. She wasn't sure the other girl knew what she was talking about even thought she had been the only one to land a hit all practice. It didn't help when she landed another hit. But Zoey saw her own bludger out of the corner of her eye and she raced to meet it. She made contact with her bat but she hadn't really been aiming and she ended up hitting one of the other chasers. @Noah Webb

Micha glanced at the beaters and grinned as they seemed to finally be having some luck. Not that he could relate but he was happy for them all the same.

Felicity clapped excitedly when it looked like her advice for Zoey had paid off immediately, though she did feel a little bad for the poor chasers.

Dion totally didn't think that because the others were getting hits that he should too, or anything (as he hid a scowl that was almost a petulant pout under his scarf).

Felicity was still riding the high of the success of her little demonstration even as the cold threatened to creep back into her awareness, giving Zoey a bright smile before drifting off across the pitch to try and keep moving.

Abigail shot a glare at Felicity as she hit her with a bludger. She had it out for her, Abigail just knew it. She flew to the hoops with the quaffle and was glad she still managed to score.

Dion swung his bat around mostly to keep the blood flowing, because he sure wasn't hitting anything.
