After their spectacular failure last year, Abigail was determined to prove she should have been captain all along. It wasn't that she thought Micha was particularly bad at it, but he wasn't as good as she was either. She had been a bit frustrated to come out of tryouts with only two alternates, but they would have to work with what they had. She had called the team to practice early in the day, determined to make the most out of the time they had. She waited impatiently for everyone to arrive, tapping her foot. Once they were all there, she wasted no time. "We're doing a warm-up first, I want you all to run one lap around the pitch before getting on your broom. Then we just all play our roles as if we're playing a game, no going easy on each other." She said, glancing at the beaters. "If you have any questions, save them. We're starting." She pointed. "Start your lap over there. Go!" She then jogged over herself, warming up was a good idea for all of them. She ran a lap around the pitch before rushing to her broom and flying into the air. She looked around to see if the rest of the team had listened to her.

OOCOut of Character:
Practice is open instantly, please RP running a lap around the pitch before getting on your broom!

Nabi was excited for her first practice. It was a bit early in the day, which wasn't easy for her, but she managed to get there on time. She sighed deeply as the captain told them to run a lap. That was no fun. She did it, as she was pretty sure Abigail would kick anyone who didn't do it off the team, but she was pretty slow. She ended up being one of the last ones in the air, and she looked around for the snitch while catching her breath.

Micha was glad to have help this year and was grateful to have the pressure of being the only captain off his shoulders. But he did worry about Abigail's....methods. He had faith that together they could win it all this year and he nodded encouragingly as she gave the instructions for practice. "What she said!" he said with a grin before starting on his lap around the pitch. He had never been very good at running despite playing a variety of sports growing up. He was out of breath when he was done and took a moment before kicking into the air. The last thing he needed was to pass out and fall off his broom.

Zoey was happy she had made the team. She was a little disappointed to be an alternate but she could live with it. At least she had this as something to look forward to while she adjusted. She listened closely as one of the captains gave them instructions, which really weren't instructions at all. But she was a beater and she figured her job was pretty easy to figure out. She started her lap and was able to keep up with the faster members of the team. She always liked sports and running with her older brothers and was pleased to know she could keep up. Grabbing her bat she took to the air and started looking for bludgers. She fond one quick and tried to aim for the seekers but hit one of the other beaters instead. @Felicity Sweetwater

Yoo went to the hoops waiting for a chaser to approach the hoop.He could block them.

Dion sauntered down to training with the rest of the team. Quidditch would hopefully be a nice distraction and a way to let off steam from study stresses. Although the girl captain was hardly relaxed at all. Quietly, Dion wondered about where she usually kept her broom, and he had a pretty good idea about it he wouldn't repeat if he wanted to keep his spot on the team. He joined the rest of the team in a jog around the pitch, not pushing himself too hard too fast, before mounting up and trying to look for bludgers to hit.

Even if Noah was quite ready for another year of quidditch he wondered what things would be like. He frowned when Abigail told them to run a lap around the pitch but did so anyways. Although he wasn’t sure the speed he was going at could even be called running. It seemed dumb to tire himself out though and he quickly jumped on his broom and grabbed the quaffle after he had finished his lap.

Micha was glad to see the rest of the team getting right into practice and he kept an eye on them while he looked for the snitch.

Zoey sighed when no bludgers came her way. She wondered if it would always be this slow.

Dion kept an eye out for bludgers, swinging his arm aimlessly to warm up a little.

Dion spotted a bludger, and hit it away from the team.

Noah aimed for the hoops but missed.

Dion tried to aim his next shot a little better, to practice hitting other players. It seemed to go towards one of the seekers, but either veered off or someone got in front of him. Or it wasn't a seeker in the first place, he didn't know the students that well yet.

When Noah tried to score Yoo was able to quickly stop the ball and tossed it back out to the chasers.

Dion swung aimlessly, not really hitting anything, just practicing his action.

Noah caught the quaffle again and flew off with it.

Dion hit a bludger at nothing and no one.

Noah threw the quaffle at one of the hoops and was glad to see it go through.

Dion swung recklessly and missed the bludger he was going for.

Micha continued his search for the snitch.

Zoey spotted a bludger and swung at it but frowned when she missed. She felt her cheeks flush in embarrassment and she quickly flew away and pretended to look busy.

Dion hit a bludger away from one of the seekers. He was kind of just hitting it for the sake of hitting it but he could look good an honourable or some cr*p like that if he pretended he was defending.

Dion did not hit a bludger.

Yoo was frustrated as Noah scored, but just grabbed the quaffle and threw it back out.

Dion was swinging too aggressively and completely missed the bludger.
