It was time for the second round of the tournament and Jon wasted no time as he lead both second year students onto the stage. He explained the rules to them again, making sure they were on different ends of the platform before he stepped away and allowed the duel to begin.​

Please refer to the spell list for guidance. No board rule breaking is acceptable. Have fun! I have a copy of the code that you should use with every post. Remember, when you are knocked out, unable to shoot anymore spells, you lost. And if you run out of points, you lose.

Chante had not expected to be up here for another round. There was so little she can do, but as not to give up so easily, she went up on the platform and bowed respectfully to her opponent. "Stupefy!" Chante shouted.

The last duel had been fun because the Ravenclaw boy had been a good challenger, but now as Cassander stood in front of a Hufflepuff girl he couldn't help but think this duel might not be as fun as the one before. Cass sighed as he let the girl make the first move and threw up his shield charm to block the oncoming spell. "Petrificus Totalus!" he fired back.

Chante, witness as he retaliated. The puff shield herself with protego, casting right in front of her. She went with her guts and attempted to disarm the Slytherin. "Expelliarmus!"

Cassander hoped this duel would be over quickly with a win for him so he was able to deflect the girl's spell with his Shield Charm. He flicked his wand and cast. "Rictusempra," at his opponent.

The spell he cast threw her off to the point that she dodge, instead of summoning another shield. Chante gripped her wand tighter, calling out "Locomotor Mortis!" taking aims for his knees.

Cass was thrown off by the girl jumping out of the way since this was a duel so using your wand to deflect the spell was customary, but he smirked nonetheless. He blocked the oncoming spell with his own wand and then cast, “Expelliarmus!

Chante remained focus. Throwing up a shield and then a stunning spell his way. Reanimated, the girl fought back with more vigor. "You're very good!" She complimented her opponent.
