Y28 Hufflepuff Practice

Hufflepuff,PracticeReuben's determination to win the Quidditch cup that year had inspired him to arrange a practice game for the Hufflepuffs. After notifying them of the time and date he headed down to the pitch, checking that everything was in order and waiting for the others to arrive. It was spitting with rain, and the grass was damp, but if they could play a good game in poor visibility, they would undoubtedly be able to win on a clear day. As one by one the players arrived, Reuben sent them round laps of the pitch, gathering them together on the ground again only once everybody was present.

Anthony was still quite elated after his success at catching the Snitch in their last game, but he certainly wasn't going to let it get to his head now. He wanted them to win the Quidditch cup this year and he was determined. He walked onto the Quidditch pitch with his brook in hand and stopped next to Reuben as they waited for the rest of the team to arrive to the practice.

Matthew was happy to be part of such a good team, especially after their last victory. He hadn't had the chance to play but he still felt included. He hoped that he could show his skills as a keeper today, though he wasn't sure how it would work in a training. He smiled at Reuben, hoping that this practice would go as well as their last game had. He also hoped he would do better than at the tryouts, even if it had gotten him a spot on the team.

Tess had to reorganize her plans to fit in the new training schedule that Reuben had put into place but she was quite happy for it as she had played a horrendous game. As glad as the girl was that they had won she wanted to do better so she made her way to the pitch and after doing a few laps as the others joined she touched back down to the team and greeted them all with a smile and a wave.
