[Professor Misha Haden]

Professor Misha Haden led the two contestants to the stage, appointing them into the north or south part of the stage respectively. He told them both the rules as well as the point system before walking off the stage to just watch from a good distance. He was sure this would be a good clean game, but he was ready to step in if he was needed to.​

All right, make sure that you use the spell list for guidance. No board rule breaking is acceptable. Have fun! I have a copy of the code that you should use with every post. Remember, when you are knocked out, unable to shoot anymore spells, you lost. And if you run out of points, you lose.
The duel begins now. If someone doesn't post after 24 hours, they are disqualified.

Kaia was proud of how quickly she was getting her spells, of course she'd spent a lot of time practicing when she had to for homework, but now that she was a third year she felt much more confident. When Kaia saw who her opponent was, she smiled, recognizing her from their encounter with that rude slytherin boy in the same grade as them. She took her position and bowed, before casting,

Zoe Katsaros didn't even know why she was doing this. Ryuu and Zenia both managed to convince her to join the dueling club, only to be able to further her skills in her dreams. Zoe dared to only tell those closest to her. She bowed toward the opponent, not recognizing her. Zoe rarely got out of her inner circle of friends. Zoe readied herself, and mentally thought over the spells. However, the Ravenclaw was quicker. Zoe quickly cast a Protego, and intoned clearly, "Petrificus Totalus!"

"Tarantallegra!" Now that she saw the other girl properly she realised that it wasn't quite the girl she knew, there was something different about her but Kaia didn't know what.

Zoe wondered who this girl was. She had friends in Ravenclaw, but didn't know her name. It sucked that she didn't know a lot of people. Maybe she could converse with her afterward. Zoe ducked the oncoming spell, before casting, "Stupefy!"

Kaia hadn't expected for the incoming spell to hit her, though she might have been distracted by her thoughts of trying to figure out why this girl looked so familiar, perhaps she had a sister or something. Kaia didn't get to think about the matter any further however, as she felt herself slowly losing consciousness and she fell to the ground, knocked out.

The duel had gone rather well, though perhaps a tad short, but the ravenclaw was knocked out. He walked over, revived the girl before saying, "Since Miss Grimm was no longer able to compete, Zoe Katsaros is the winner," He announced giving a smile towards the girl who'd won and allowing them both to leave.
