With the two contestants for the second round in tow, Professor Summers lead them through the chamber, gesturing for them to take their places as they had done before. Since they had already won a round and understood what they were doing, he skipped the introductions and allowed them to commence as soon as they were both ready.</COLOR>​

Jerara was rather surprised that he had managed to make it to the second round of the duelling. He was more than a little happy with this outcome, though he wished he could do more spells, he was just happy to be doing it. He was faced with a new opponent and bowed politely to her. He assumed his position wand outstretched and quickly before the girl could said, "Petrificus Totalus"

Odette liked to win, and she wanted to beat this stupid boy before her very badly. She only vaguely knew him from her classes, but she didn't need to know him better. All she needed was for him to go down. She only bowed her head slightly, and was surprised when the other boy was faster than her. "Protego." She said quickly, protecting herself from his spell. It seemed like he was trying to knock her out immediately, she could do the same. "Stupefy!"

Jerara wanted to win of course, but he was more just enjoying the duels themselves, he felt that he was rather limited by the fact that he didn't know that many fun and interesting spells. All he knew were the simple ones. He blocked her spell, and took a small moment to figure out what he could return with. Eventually the ravenclaw settled upon, "Locomotor Mortis," the boy said with confidence.

Odette glared at the boy when she deflected the spell with a shield charm. That was a spell that had been used on her before and though the boy had no way of knowing this, she wanted to beat him more than ever. She pointed her wand at his chest. "Expelliarmus!" It was less aggressive than the stunning spell, but she hoped it would catch him off guard.

Jerara barely managed to get out of the way in time for the spell, the girl had really been aiming for his chest, this was far more intense than the last one and he wasn't overly confident about winning. He raised his own wand and cast the trip jinx, hoping that excellent spell would cause her to fall and bring back a little of his confidence.

Odette enjoyed seeing the boy have to dodge her spell instead of being able to block it easily, she felt like it was a good sign. She was so busy enjoying the sight that she got hit by his trip jinx, making her trip over nothing at all and fall down, hitting her chin on the hard ground. She made an angry noise and sat up on her knees, her wand still clutched in her hand. She didn't want to waste time getting up if she could send a spell his way. "Petrificus Totalus!" She snapped, anger in her voice.

Oh boy how Jerara was pleased when his spell made her trip, the slight show that he wasn't as terrible at this as he believed himself to be, the boy took a moment to revel in what he had managed to do before focusing himself once more and barely managing to block her spell. He didn't stop, casting back "Tarantallegra" he said.

Odette needed to win this now. He had humiliated her completely and there was only one way to get back from it, by defeating him. She blocked his spell, angry that he was still using weak ones like that. Was he taking this seriously? She glared at him. "Stupefy!" She shouted, putting all her force into the spell.
