Professor Styx leads the two contestants to the stage, appointing them into the north or south part of the stage. He reveals the rules as well as the point system. He walks off the stage and orders the duel to begin, as he keeps a watchful eye.​

All right, make sure that you use the spell list for guidance. No board rule breaking is acceptable. Have fun! I have a copy of the code that you should use with every post. Remember, when you are knocked out, unable to shoot anymore spells, you lost. And if you run out of points, you lose.
The duel begins now. If someone doesn't post after 24 hours, they are disqualified.

The end of the last duel had been rather disappointing, mostly because the girl had been so lovely, and he'd had fun, but this would not be as fun he assumed, there was no way this girl would be as light hearted as the one before. He was nervous by this second match, keen to just have it be over with. He pointed his wand at her and cast, "Rictusempra,"

How Eva had managed to get through the second round she didn't know. She hoped this next one would be a little more fun and chilled out than the last one. Eva smiled at her opponent as she took her position, though he didn't seem to keen on this duel which made her slightly nervous. The brunette suddenly burst out laughing, unable to help herself. After a few moments she realised that she had actually been hit by the spell, and she cast finite to stop laughing so the duel could continue. Composing herself once again and grinning because it had been an amusing spell, Eva cast her first spell. She aimed her wand and cast the Antler jinx.

Ares was rather surprised when his spell hit and the girl just laughed and laughed, of course that was what the spell was supposed to do but he was surprised that it hit and that she hadn't yet stopped the spell. He grinned at her, a little as she composed herself, glad that she was alright, but still smiling over how much laughter had been. He barely because of that managed to get the shield up. He fired back quickly with the Bat-bogey hex watching with a little smile as the spell shot from his wand.

Eva was glad that he didn't seem to be too serious about the duel, and she didn't miss his smile as she dodged his spell, avoiding it just by inches. "Confundo!" Her next shot had come to her more spontaneously and she watched as light protruded from her wand.

The moment the spell hit him, he felt it, well, he felt confused, just oh so confused, he knew he needed to cast a spell, but he didn't know why or at whom, he raised his wand because he felt he had to and cast, "Lumos," the spell worked, of course but he knew that wasn't right, he shook his head, and finally cast a finite, breaking both the lumos and the confundo. He ran a hand through his hair, sighing heavily and chuckling slightly at the effects of that spell upon him

Eva couldn't help but laugh at her spell's effect, as it was rather amusing and was happy to know that her opponent felt the same way and wasn't annoyed by it. She raised an eyebrow when he cast lumos, though it was to be expected considering her aim had to do with confusing the target. "Furnunculus!" She cast when it was her turn, pointing her wand at him.
