Isabella wasn't sure if she could do this. The whole being nice to others thing. Technically it wasn't being nice, because Isabella needed to put together a Quidditch team regardless of what she felt. But it was hard for her to keep her mouth shut when she felt like she needed to say something to people about whatever was bothering her at the time. Whether it be their hair, their attitude, even their lack of Quidditch skills, Isabella felt like it was her job to tell people what she was thinking. Now she needed to do a complete one-eighty as both a Prefect and a Captain. It was hard. Isabella couldn't deny that much, particularly now that people were almost expecting her to be mean and hateful. If she didn't retort back with some snide comment, what were they going to think? Isabella made her way to the Quidditch Pitch and sighed. A clipboard was practically glued to her pale hands. Off to the side a little bit there was a set of Quidditch gear such as bats, brooms, etc. All extra supplies in case someone needed to borrow something to show off their skills. As the seconds ticked by, more and more people showed up to try-out, and Isabella waited until she felt that a majority if then were here to announce what she had to announce. "Everyone shut up and pay attention....please." Isabella threw in the please to try and show that she was working on her attitude, slowly. "State your name and position that you are trying out for, then proceed to tryout. Anyone who is trying out to be a Chaser, grab a quaffle and practice passing and such. You can also try to score. Keepers, go to the hoops guard. If you need someone to throw some Quaffles for you to block one of the Chasers or I will help out. Beaters, go grab a bat and practice hitting some bludgers and guarding the team. Lastly, Seekers, there are some golden snitches flying around, so practice chasing after and if you can...catching the snitch. Try not to hurt yourself....and good luck." Isabella rolled her blue eyes and waved them off. Hoping to actually see something worth while happen today.

So guys, It just requires one post! Easy right? Just state your arrival and your try out into one. Make it creative. We want to get the teams posted as soon as possible so post as soon as you possibly can! If your student has questions feel free to post them here or PM me, and I will answer to them accordingly.

Also, if there are any first years really dying to play and think they are able to be available for games...PM me. There may be a chance for you to try out as well! Please be prepared to defend your request though! Good luck!

Paige was stressed, she did not know how to handle the situation at hand. She wanted to be a seeker, but the Try-outs were kind of scary. Although, she had faith in herself and in her skills in flying. Paige was still really nervous, but her ambition and will to do something in life got her trough the nerves. Paige had her hair tied up in a sideways ponytail and was wearing her new Slytherin robes since she had outgrown her old ones. There was a new Slytherin Quidditch Captain, since the old one graduated. With a quick pace she arrived at the Quidditch Pitch to find the Quidditch Captain already standing there. Paige listened carefully to the instructions, she had her own broom with her. This broom was a gift form her dad and maybe it brought Paige some luck in this try-out. "Paige Rivers. Trying out for Seeker. I don't mind to try out for Chaser if you need one." Paige was mainly focussing on Seeker, she loved that position when she had flying lessons or had secret practise runs with her sister.

Paige mounted the broom in her hand and flew upwards, her eyes focussing to find the golden ball with tiny wings. It was a rather sunny day, but there was a faint wind in the air. Paige thought she saw a golden glitter high up in the sky. Flying up to the golden glitter in the sky, while making a couple of turns she found that it was just the reflection of a flying candy wrapper. ''Ugh.'' Paige caught the candy wrapper and stuffed it into her robe pocket. Other people that would try out for seeker could mistake the wrapper for the Snitch. Paige was focussing on seeing the ball, but from far she could hear the sound of tiny wings. Flying downwards to the sound of the wings, she found a tiny golden ball flying quickly over the Pitch in a large circle. Paige knew that a seeker was important to the team, they would end the match and get one-hundred-fifty points for their team. Paige had forgotten her flying glasses and that made high flying with speed not the best. Paige was chasing after the tiny golden snitch and she was gaining some distance. Trying to focus on her own job she went even faster on her broom.

The distance she was gaining got more and more and the Snitch was soon in catching distance. Getting herself steadied on her broom and with balance she stood on her broom with her right hand reaching out for the golden ball, with one grab the ball was resting in her gloved hand. Happy that she had could the snitch a smirk appeared on her face. Paige had no time left to try out for chaser, this did not foul her mood since she had caught a snitch. Paige took the Snitch and gave it back to the Slytherin Captain. Paige could not help her to spot another Snitch flying behind the Captain and with ease she rose up again to catch this snitch. This snitch was easier to catch, since it was lower and the wind was not getting into her eyes. She delivered the second snitch into Isabella her possession and left the Pitch. Paige did not know what to do next, but she was going to enjoy this moment while it lasted.

Myuna made her way to the quidditch pitch broom in one hand and a shiny new beaters bat in the other. she had been on the quidditch team for the last two years but not in the roll she wanted to be in. she was best playing as beater however as during the last two years the both captains were beaters she had been put as chaser but now there was a spot for beater she was determined to fill the space. she looked around the rest of the people trying out. she being a seventh year was far bigger than many of the students and she was the ideal build for one too. not skinny sticks like many of the white girls who always seemed to walk around the school like they owned the place. she had the bone structure of a bounder. It wasn't that she was fat, no, she was just big boned and quite muscled form her time on a surfboard. "Hello Isabella. I am here to try for Beater" she said to the captain when it was her turn before taking to the air looking for the bludgers.
She saw one heading towards her. one swing with the bat and thwack it went flying towards the opposite end of the pitch heading towards a goal post which it clanged into ringing like a bell. she flew around a bit more and found another one. another hit and it went flying towards the gryffindor stands. it was a couple of minutes later when she saw another bludger heading towards one of the people trying as chaser who was flying along the pitch with the ball and she could tell they were not paying attention to anything but the goal. she lay on her broom urging it towards the ball she got there in the last minute managing to give it a back handed whack towards an empty pice of pitch.
she kept on like this hitting the bludgers as hard as she could away from players until she was called back in. she landed on the pitch and tried to smile but just stretched ready for the debriefing, before leaving the pitch and heading to the muggle sports cupboard to fab a tennis ball and racket. she then found a blank space of wall and started to hit it so that it bounced off the wall and was returned to her.

This year, Kailie prayed that she would not be made seeker like that one year. She enjoyed being a chaser. She had faith in her skills, and how she had helped the team to victory time and time again, but not as of recently. She did not really want to be a seeker again. She was once good at it, but she wanted to be a chaser. She smiled a bit at her reflection with her blonde hair tied back, emerald green uniforms, and a solid streak to match. She sighed and walked down to the pitch to see Isabella, who was the new solo captain. Kailie just hoped that she would not be too much of a pain. Isabella had some bad points, but somehow they managed to get along, even just a little bit. She strolled up to her and she said in a soft voice, "Kailie Styx. Trying for chaser." She did not really want any other position on the team. Chaser was the most active, and she believed that to be her calling. She knew how to handle one, and she was pretty skillful at making the goals. She walked over to the pile of quaffles, and she took one. Holding it under her arm, she mounted her broom and she took to the skies.

The sixth year looked around to see who else was trying out for the chaser position. Hopefully no one that she had a major competition with. She narrowed her eyes at the keeper, and she sped forward, her icy blue eyes looking for a way to score. Kailie continued to fly forward, and she tossed the quaffle toward the hoop, but it was blocked successfully. She simply nodded, since the keeper was pretty good. She caught the quaffle and she circled around to try once more. Kailie continued to try to score, and she did not get blocked that often, but she made a few good shots as well. She thought that with this, she would be getting on the team one way or another. Her skills were good enough anyway. She had been on the team since she was a second year, which seemed so long ago. Once the try out was over, Kailie proved that her skills as a chaser surpassed her skills as a seeker long ago. She just did not want to be a seeker at all this year. Chaser was perfect for her. Kailie landed on the ground with ease. She smiled to the captain, something that would not happen much. She left the pitch to go do something, but she didn't know what to do. Kailie shrugged her shoulders and she left lawns to go inside of the castle to go find her dad.

The first year Slytherin held his Emerald Streak in his hand, a gift to himself. Vladimir Zhefarovich slipped into his Slytherin Quidditch robes and his Quidditch gear. He thought that he would end up making the team if he proved his skills. He could fly on a broom, and he could hit things, so that should be all a beater really was. So Vladimir thought that he would give it a shot. He made sure that he had everything done and he remembered that this was an agreement made by Blaine himself. Blaine wanted them both to try out for beaters in their respective houses. Vladimir would be glad to beat some heads in. He needed something violent and this would do just nicely. Vladimir gave himself a look over once more, and he smoothed his black hair back a bit more and out of his face. His hair could pose a problem but he was not too worried about it. He soon left the Slytherin dorms and made his way to the Qudiditch field where he would find the others waiting, and he could see the Captain. The captain looked cute but she also looked like she could be a real pain in the ass. So he was not going to go there when it came with some females. They were sometimes just a bit annoying.

Once he approached her, he stated, “Vladimir Zhefarovich. I am trying out for Beater.” Vladimir figured that since he was a first year, he would probably not be in the original line up, since he had competition with someone older, but he would certainly try. Vladimir mounted his broom and took a beater’s bat with him. He lunged into the sky and then his onyx eyes peeled, looking around for some bludgers to whack. It did not take him long to find one and he hit it away from one of the chasers that the bludger seemed to be eager to knock off the broom. He could feel how strong it is. The try outs did not last long enough, but by the time that they were over, he was feeling the pressure of what being a beater would be like. He sighed as he landed, thanking his family for teaching him how to fly with one hand at the very least. He did not acknowledge the captain as he left, since he did not want to see her reaction, nor did he want to sneer or something at her behavior. Saying please to him showed a little bit of weakness, but overall, she had some pretty amusing techniques.

This was it. Her final year in Hogwarts already began and Artemis felt rather ancient - what a word that was, but that was how she really felt; old. This was going to be her last time to tryout in the Slytherin team and she knew that in the future, she would most probably not take professional Quidditch as her occupation. Now that was dangerous, and Artemis wanted to explore other things besides from Quidditch in the big, bad world. She fixed her emerald robes that were for Quidditch and held her broom firmly. The walk to the Pitch made her nerves pump more adrenalin than it was supposed to and she could not wait to feel the ground meters underneath her. She could not wait to feel the air whipping freshly against her face plus, she wanted to see if any other captain was assigned to lead the team. A lot of thoughts rushed through the seventh year's mind and she bit her lip to keep her from being sentimental. This was not the time to cry over it and even if she had a lot of memories with the team, she knew that life was slowly readying her to move on from the castle unto a new life. Possibly with her special guy to. Artemis finally stepped outdoors and saw a bunch of people near the Slytherin benches, possibly waiting for the tryouts to finally start.

Isabella Pisces was the only captain of the team now and Artemis nodded at her. She knew that the brunette could have a temper which Artemis thought could possibly be good for the team. If she was determined enough to let their team train hard, they would win all their games - if any would occur, that was. Artemis looked at the younger years that decided to tryout and felt excited to see their skills. The Head Girl surveyed the new lot, hoping that the ones to be placed on the official list had the ability to bring their team up and win most of the games, if not all. The sound of Isabella's voice snapped Artemis back to the present and it was that time wherein she had to state her time. One last time, she uttered, "Artemis Jackson, for Keeper." She listened to the rest of the instructions which were the usual ones, as always. Allowing the others to kick off from the ground, Artemis watched them fly high. Finally, she kicked hard from the ground and let her broom take her to the air, in which she zoomed past the others to make it the hoops. She felt refreshed after practicing on her speed. She circled the hoops twice before stopping in front of the central one, her blue orbs ready to spot some Chasers that were supposed to have a shot.

With the wind drying her eyes painfully, Artemis had to blink most of the time during the tryouts. Although that did not hinder her from blocking out the Quaffles. Her skills had improved ever since she was in her second year and she was mighty proud of that. Artemis loved the look of the opponent's face whenever she blocked their speedy Quaffles. It was priceless, that one. She was unable to block some, but Artemis did not really bother to frown at them. Instead, she caught the Quaffle that went through the hoop and tossed it back to the Slytherin. This process continued for more than thirty minutes. Artemis felt her muscles being exercised the whole time and she was pleased that for the most part, she able to block the Quaffles that came her way.

Chad Aria strutted down to the Quidditch Pitch, feeling confident and looking good. He had made the team for the last few years and was confident he'd make it again this year.
"Chad Aria." Chad smirked confidently. "I'll be trying for my spot of chaser again. But if you need a seeker, I'm your guy." Chad winked at the captain. He had definitely moved on from Kailie, especially after the embarrassing encounter they had the year before. She obviously didn't know what she was missing out on. Chad grinned, knowing he was better off without her anyway.
The young Slytherin kicked off the ground and flew into the sky. Chad had practiced a lot during the holidays, so he knew he was better than he ever was. He stuck close to them, knowing that team work was essential for them to win. Chad finally got the Quaffle passed to him, and he held it close to his chest. Zooming along the pitch, he threw the ball to another team mate before quickly rolling under his broom to miss a bludger. Getting comfortable on his broom again, Chad quickly caught up with the Quaffle, catching it easily when it was passed to him. The hoops were getting close, the Slytherin boy heaved all his weight into the throw, praising himself to see it go in. He was much better at getting the quaffle in the hoop, even though Artemis was a good keeper. He got frustrated at the times where she blocked the goals, but he continued to play and scored quite a few more goals, working well with his team-mates; keeping it strictly professional with Kailie.
After his Chaser try-out, it was time to try-out for seeker. Chad grabbed a Snitch and let it loose, giving it plenty of time for a head start. He was a little bit more built than a usual seeker, but it didn't stop him from speeding around the track when needed. Flying straight up, Chad flew around the pitch, keeping an eye out for the snitch. His main focus was the snitch, but he was well aware of where the bludgers were as well as where the other hopefuls were. Not too long of a wait, and Chad saw a glint of gold zooming near him. Leaning forward, Chad flew as fast as he could towards the little bugger. Stretching his arm out as the two flew towards each other, Chad felt the small ball brush against the tip of his fingers before speeding past him. Cursing, Chad swung his broom around and started chasing the snitch, zig-zagging around the pitch and past the other players. Catching up, Chad finally felt the joy of closing his fingers around the snitch. He cheered and pumped his hand in the air, before flying down to the ground to let it loose again.
Chad managed to catch the snitch a few more times before time was up.
By the end of the try-outs, Chad was confident he had done well enough to secure himself a spot on the team again, as he flew back down to hear the line-up.

Pandora wasn't quite sure how today was going to go, it could go in one of two ways. Either Pandora could do well and make the team, or someone could do better than her and make the team instead. As sick as it made Pandora to think about losing to someone else, Pandora wasn't the captain, and she didn't really have the right to pick and choose which and what team she was on. Pandora didn't have her own broom, so she was borrowing one from another person from her house until she was able to get her own. Pandora approached the team members and the captain and stopped in front of her. "Pandora Matthias. Trying out for Chaser." Pandora waited until the nodded at her to let her know that she could begin her try out. Mounting the broomstick, Pandora breathed out, ready to give this a shot.

Pandora kicked her body off the ground and hovered for a moment before she grabbed the handle of the broom and flew up into the air. Someone released the Quaffle for her and Pandora caught it with ease. The second year tucked the Quaffle under her arm and started off towards the hoops that she needed to try and score on. Pandora figured her shots would get blocked, but she was going to attempt to get it in as many times as she possibly could. Pandora sped forward and stopped just as she got to the hoops. With the strongest arm possible, she hurled the Quaffle right at the hoops. It was blocked this time, but Pandora figured she could always try again. The Quaffle was tossed back out to another player, who in turn tossed it at Pandora. Pandora caught it with both of her hands and re-tucked it under her arm again. This time she would try another method of scoring she had read about. Pandora sped toward the hoops once more and pretended that she was going to throw the Quaffle in one direction, then quickly switch over to another direction. She tossed the Quaffle and to her delight, it actually went through the hoop. Pandora threw the keeper an apologetic smile. Pandora wanted to try one more time to make sure she was noticed and nodded to have the Quaffle thrown to her one last time. This time she almost missed catching it, but thankfully she nicked it with her fingertips and it fell into her lap. Pandora tucked the quaffle under her arm one last time and zipped off to the hoops. Hurried, she tossed the Quaffle inside and watched as it was blocked again. The Keeper was really good. She was glad that she wasn't on another team having to face off against him, because Pandora hated to lose. If she lost, she'd probably want to punch the guy. Pandora lowered her broom down to the ground and avoided making eye contact with the captains. She hoped she had done well enough to at least not get laughed at, otherwise some people might get a good kick in the face or two.
