The Slytherin Seventh Year made her way down to the Quidditch Pitch. She set up fliers all around the school so that she could actually have a team this year. Isabella Romanes was known for drilling others, but this year they might notice a change in her behavior. As if anyone would ever know. Isabella prayed that there would be players from last year down here. She arrived to the empty pitch, where she made her broom hover, and Isabella sat on it, and crossed her legs. She had a clipboard in her hand, and a quill in the other. She had a list of things to do. As soon as her magenta eyes looked up, she could see some other Slytherins that had arrived, and she looked around the pitch. She had everything set up. "State your name," started Isabella in a commanding voice, "and the position that you are trying out for. Then Chasers, grab a quaffle from the pile, which there are about four. That should be enough for all of you all. Keepers, go to the hoops, and guard them. Seekers, there are a few golden snitches flying around, so you can practice catching them. And finally Beaters, grab a bat, and guard the team. The bludgers are many, and they will attack. Off you go." Isabella looked up to see the team, and observe from below.
OOCOut of Character: Instructions
It just requires one post! Just state your arrival and your try out into one. Make it creative. If your student has questions feel free to post them here, and I will have Isabella answer to them accordingly.

Anecmanus walked down towards the Quidditch Pitch. He'd been told all about the Quidditch trials that would be taking place today, and he planned to get in on the action. Honestly, he just absolutely loved hitting beaters at people, but he supposed he'd be able to defend them as well. He arrived at the pitch, and looked around. He took in his 'competition' and then the Captains, they were a sorry looking bunch and the girl had an annoying bossy tone. He didn't like it even a little bit, and he'd like to hit the first bludger in her direction, but he knew better. He cleared his throat. "Anecmanus Dumont, trying out for beater." He said, grabbing a bat, mounting his broom, and taking flight. He began flying around the pitch, watching the bludgers intently and ensuring that he didn't get surprised by any of them. He hit a few of them away before they caused any danger to the other people that were around the pitch, making sure that he was capable of doing what the position entailed. All in all, he thought he'd done a good job. But, then again, hitting things was something he was good at. He packed up and headed off when they were all done.

<COLOR color="#000"> Wearing only her Quidditch attire, Artemis Jackson walked towards the spot where the Slytherin try outs would be held. She held her broom in a firm grasp in her right hand and with her thumb, she rubbed the wood in a circular motion. The smooth texture of the wood soothed her nerves and she knew that there was nothing to be nervous about. Quidditch was more of a hobby for her, and being nervous about the try outs would certainly do no good for the teenager. Being the latest Keeper of the team, the blonde was excited to know if her skills had improved to get accepted in the team as their Keeper once more. Her first year in the team was good, but the position of a Chaser did not excite the blonde as much. She did not want to get hit by the bludgers most of the time, and the Keeper was a seldom target for Beaters to throw their nasty balls at. Artemis was sure of what position to get and she spoke with a firm tone, "Artemis Jackson, going for Keeper again." The instructions of the captain were vivid clear to the fourth year, and she looked at which hoops to guard. She mounted, and kicked the dirt on the ground to start flying. Artemis flew to the south part of the Pitch and there she readied herself from the quaffles that would soon be thrown towards her hoops. She positioned herself on the center hoop and let her blue eyes follow the path of where the quaffles were going.

Artemis stayed in her position, until another Slytherin attempted to shoot the quaffle in. She flew towards it with all the speed she can muster and tossed to another direction before it can even reach a foot before the hoops. For several minutes, Artemis did the same thing over and over again but she did not get tired of it. In fact, she enjoyed watching the ones trying out for Chaser attempt to shoot their quaffle in. Just like any other try outs, Artemis was familiar with some of the players playing whilst the some seemed to be newcomers. Artemis held the handle of her broom with a relaxed grip and she watched out for the coming Chasers who had their quaffles with them. The blonde tossed the quaffles out of the hoops' way, once they were within her reach. She did not know how many quaffles did she averted, but it was certainly quite an amount by now. Her hand was beginning to get sore by all the deflecting she was trying to do, but the Slytherin remained silent and she did not dare groan. Several minutes after, she felt relief flush through her veins once the try outs had come to an end. She dove towards the ground and dismounted her broom easily. Artemis rubbed her sore muscle and chewed on her lower lip because of the discomfort. She was glad that it was over and she was already eager to know the results of the try outs. But first, she was going to make sure that her arms would rest for a day perhaps.

Quidditch. Was there anything more wonderfully violent than Quidditch? Epiphany had wanted to be on the team the year before but being a first year she wasn't allowed and stuck in flying lessons which she didn't do well in but that was because of her lack of real effort in the class. She had passed everything else. "Epiphany Bones, Chaser!" Epiphany squeaked as soon as she took a step on to the Quidditch Pitch. She had really wanted to be a beater but she really didn't want to get into the captain's crosshairs just yet especially if she didn't think that she was any good at chasing. She had only a little bit of practice seeing as Luthor was indoorsy type and the kids in the park where a bit afraid of her after they played with her once. She didn't have to perfect though and had seen more than enough to be able to mimic some of the moves she had seen.

Epiphany mounted her broom and kicked off hard. She swooped down to grab a quaffle then flew off towards to goal post. She saw last year's Keeper Artemis on one side and smiled at her brightly before she flung the quaffle at the hoop beside her. The attempt at distraction proved futile as Artemis saved. She flew and caught one of the balls that had been thrown back before circling back and making the attempt at goal again this time making it seem like she was aiming a brutal attack at the girl's head then aiming at the goal furthest away. Epiphany failed again against Artemis but it was only natural seeing as the girl had been playing longer than her.

She made another catch but this time she passed it to someone who was closer to the goal. The other person made the attempt at the goal only to fail again. Epiphany was passed too and she passed it along giving the other chaser a pointed nod. The quaffle was back passed to her when she was close enough and Epiphany took the shot hoping to have confused Artemis a bit. It didn't work but knew that not all keepers where not as cleaver as her. Epiphany heard that try outs where over so she worked her broom to land with a large smile on her face. Whether she had made it or not Epiphany had fun without blood involved.

Justin stretched and yawned slightly as he made his way to the Quidditch Pitch for Quidditch try-outs. Admittedly, he'd had a lot of fun with Quidditch, and wished to play once again, he'd probably try out for chaser again, he wasn't entirely sure. Upon entering the pitch, Justin gathered with his fellow Slytherin, some face were quite familiar, others he had no idea who they were, it wasn't like he made it a habit of his to know every Slytherin in the school, he honestly couldn't be bothered getting to know the students in his year, let alone his house. Nodding slightly to the Slytherin Captian, he listened to what she had to say and shrugged at a random thought that popped into his head. Why not? "Justin Kuya, going for Seeker, or Chaser." There was no harm in going for both, it wasn't like he was going to be shot in the head or anything. If he didn't get anything, he didn't get anything, simple as that. Gripping his broom tighter in his hand, Justin fixed up his gear and mounted his broom, and shot off into the sky, grabbing a Quaffle on his way and glancing at a young Slytherin girl that was also trying out for Chaser, were Powerpuff girls allow to join the team now? Fascinating. Still, Justin worked with the young girl to attempt to confuse the Keeper, Artemis, and score, but most attempts fell flat, which was quite an excellent thing, because that meant that Artemis would most likely block most attempts from other players from the other teasm, just what Slytherin needed to win.

Upon realising the time, Justin nodded to a fellow Slytherin that was going for Chaser, and passed them the Quaffle, then he flew down to where the Snitch was being held and smirked slightly as the Snitch was released, and bolted away with amazing speed. At first Justin was quite shocked, but recovered quickly and chased after to small ball, trying his best to keep within its general area and not letting it out of his sight, this was diffinately giving his eyes a workout. Dodging and circling players, hoops and bludgers, Justin reached out the enclose the snitch in his hand. This was quite a workout, but he was determined to capture the small, fast ball before time was out. Finally, after chaisng the snitch for a decent amount of time, Justin was able to capture it and returned it with everything elsewhen try-outs were called to an end and cracked his knuckes quietly and found himself standing on the ground once more, running his fingers through his hair, in an attempt to keep it somewhat under control. Once everything was said and done, Justin planned to return to the castle, to get out of this heat and probably take a bath.

Zayne Baros dressed in his Quidditch robes, and he carried his broom down to the Quidditch Pitch. While he knew that he was a good beater, he had another position in mind. He did not want to have the same position as his dad, so he wanted to play another position. One that seemed to have had trouble last year with getting someone active to play it. Zayne made his way to where the team was, before he approached the Captain. There was something different about her, but it might just be because she was a seventh year, and then a new captain would take over the team. Zayne had cut his hair and everything, so he looked very different than he was back in the previous years that he was here at the Pitch. He looked toward the captain, before he gave her a small grin. He said, "Zayne Baros, and trying out for Keeper this time." It was a little of a surprise. He could not wait though, since he had practiced all holidays for it with his dad, and it really helped him out a great deal. His dad seemed fine with his, and his life had improved greatly since his step-mom was no longer in the picture. He simply loved life now, and he was going to keep loving life. There was nothing wrong with the way he was living now. He worked really hard for what he was going to do, and he was going to keep working too. When he heard the captain tell them what they needed to do, Zayne swung his leg over his broom. He readied himself.

Leaping up into the air, Zayne flew to the opposite end of the pitch, opposite of Artemis Jackson. She was going for Keeper too, but he did not know why she did not play in the game against Ravenclaw. Zayne did not think too much about it. He instead made himself ready to block quaffles. He felt like he had taken a lucky potion, which he had not because he did not know what it even looked like. Zayne looked forward with his pale eyes, before he saw a quaffle heading in his direction with a chaser holding on to it. Settling on the middle hoop, he managed to block the score. He tossed the quaffle heading in his direction with ease. Zayne tossed the quaffle back, and he made sure that the chaser caught it. This was not the first time that he had handled the quaffle, but the first time on the castle soil when it had to do with this. Zayne was just happy that he was doing well. He continued to block as many attempts as possible, not falling for many tricks, but he did let a few in at times as well. Zayne was starting to get tired, but he hoped that he did well enough to make the team anyway. He saw that others were descending as try outs came to a close. He lowered himself onto the ground, where he landed and he looked up at the captain. He did not know if he did well enough to make the team or not. Zayne hoped so, even just as an alternate anyway, but that was what he was wanting anyway.

Chad Aria strutted down to the Quidditch Pitch, feeling confident and looking good. Quidditch was his number one passion, he had read almost every book about it, and spent most of his money on his Emerald Streak which he held in his right hand. Chad had been extremely disappointed that the Flying Classes were for First Years only, it was his favourite class. Shrugging and running his free hand through his hair, Chad grinned at the Captain as he made it to the pitch.
"Chad Aria, reporting for duty. I will be one of your Chaser's this year." Chad smirked confidently. The young Slytherin kicked off the ground and flew into the sky. He had missed the feeling of being on a broom, and loved the freedom he felt. He did a quick loop around the pitch before he joined the rest of the Chasers trying out. He stuck close to them, knowing that team work was essential for them to win. He wanted to prove that he could work with team members. Chad was stoked to see that their Keepers were really good, it irritated him slightly with them blocking all the Quaffles, but it was a good thing. Chad finally got the Quaffle passed to him, and he held it close to his chest. Zooming along the pitch, he threw the ball to another team mate before quickly rolling under his broom to miss a bludger. Getting comfortable on his broom again, Chad quickly caught up with the Quaffle, catching it easily when it was passed to him. The hoops were getting close, the Slytherin boy heaved all his weight into the throw, praising himself to see it go in. The try-outs continued for awhile, Chad scoring a few more, but also missing some; a very bitter-sweet moment.
By the end of the try-outs, Chad was confident he had done well enough to secure himself a spot on the team. He winked at the young girl trying out for Chaser also, his cockiness never seeming to fade.

Kailie was normally the alternate chaser when it came down to being on the Quidditch team. She hoped that she would actually be a chaser, and not just some lousy alternate. Kailie packed her broom that her dad graciously bought for her, and she made sure that her blonde hair was straightened, and she looked intense. She was tall for her age, and she was developing too. She now had curves, not that one could see them through her Quidditch attire. She walked onto the pitch, with her head held high. If anything, she was going to be on the team. She hoped anyway. It was just something she was looking forward to. She approached the captain, and she hoped that the captain would remember her at the very least. She was a good chaser in the game last year. After the others said their names, she decided that it would be best to speak now, better now than never, "Kailie Styx, trying out for Chaser as usual." She did not think that she was fit enough to try out for seeker, plus she did not think she could handle that much pressure at all. She just wanted to do what she wanted, which was handle the Quaffle. When they were instructed to get to work, Kailie looked at the pile of quaffles, and she hoped that she would get to one fast enough.

Kailie took a quaffle under her arm, mounted her broom, and jumped up high into the air. She soared around, before her blue eyes looked around to the other bodies trying out for Chaser. She pretended that they were not there, because the only one that was at the pitch other than herself was the keeper. Kailie handled the quaffle as she sped forward, and she was going after the one that was trying out for keeper, and as she recognized him, as the one that was once a beater for this team. While she didn't care for the change, she was just going to attempt to score. She tossed the quaffle as hard as she could, but the keeper blocked it. She caught it, and flew back around. Kailie circled around, and she went back this time, with a cunning attitude, some tricks up her sleeves. She attempted once more to score, and it was blocked again, and again. The keeper was really good! Kailie was getting frustrated because this could hinder her chances to get onto the team. That was not something that she wanted to happen. She went back and this time, when she shot, she scored. That was really tough, and on and on, this went on. Every now and again, she would get a score, but it was not often at all. She didn't need to work on anything else for the try outs. That would be for the practices anyway. Soon try outs were over, and Kailie lowered herself to the ground. Her feet landed, and she tossed the quaffle to the side. Her blue eyes looked over to the others trying out, and she rolled her eyes at the cocky guy she once sold a wand to. Ugh. Kailie waved toward the captain, and she planned on wondering back to the castle, to do whatever she wanted.

Isabella felt sick to her stomach right now. Not because she was nervous about Quidditch. Not even close. What was there to be nervous about? All she had to do pretty much was hit around a bludger and look pretty. It wasn't that hard. In fact it could be considered to be stress relieving. What did make her sick was the rumors she had heard about her older sister Callisto and her friend Grezhen. Well she thought he was her friend anyways. Apparently they had been all lovey dovey. Isabella hated that. It was her friend that her sister was messing around with. Isabella met him first. She did not want him to get involved with her sister. What kind of friend did that? Grezhen was one of the few people that Isabella allowed to get to get close to her without her being forced to. Mostly because her anger hadn't spiked until months before Hogwarts. Now she came to find out that her sister had stolen her only friend pretty much. It was disgusting. Isabella approached the Quidditch pitch with a deep frown etched onto her pale lips. Quidditch would hopefully relieve her stress a little bit. If it didn't then she was going to have some problems. She was jealous. Very jealous. Her only friend in the world was too busy with her sister. Isabella could barely even remember when the last letter she had gotten from him. "Hey." Isabella greeted the Quidditch captain. Her name was also Isabella. Isabella had a lot of respect for the older prefect. Even if they barely seemed to speak outside of Quidditch practice. "Just like last year, I'm going to be trying out for Beater." That was the position she had been on last year. She really liked it so she was going to try again. Isabella waited until some others were finished before she signaled that she was about ready to go. Isabella mounted her broomstick and let her body floating up off the ground. She knew she needed to show what she had today. Plus get some of her stress out before she did something stupid. Or mean.

Isabella found a bludger within record time. Her sweaty hands held the beater's bat tightly as she flew toward it. The bludger sped away but soon enough Isabella was able to reach it. Isabella swung her arm back and smacked the bludger away. It flew a decent distance away from her. Isabella chased after another one and did the same thing. Only this time she send it flying even further. Isabella kept hitting them back and forth. Of course she did mis-aim a few of them. But overall she wasn't doing too bad. Isabella flew towards one last bludger and swung away. Sending it flying. All together she hit about six or seven. But that was about it. Isabella didn't want to overdo it. Nor did she want to seem like an overachiever. All she wanted was another shot on the team.
