Isabella Romanes was hovering on her broom, and she looked up as the Slytherins dressed in Quidditch robes started to make their way down to the pitch. She hoped that there would be players from last year and new blood to take over the team. She wanted to be able to face others. They had won last year, thanks to her and her amateur seeking skills. However she was still the team Beater. The sixth year Prefect waited until they all stood before her, before she told them in a stern voice, her Italian accent showing through, "So, what I want you to do, is state your name and position that you are trying out for. We don't have as much time as I wanted. Chasers, grab a quaffle, there are enough for about four, though practice passing and such, and try to score. Keepers, go to the hoops, and guard. Seekers, there are two golden snitches flying around, so practice seeking, and finally, Beaters, grab a bat and guard the team." Isabella continued to over, sitting sideways before she would observe the try outs from the skies herself, and see who would make the cut.
OOCOut of Character: Instructions
Okay guys, this is a bit of a change. It just requires one post! Just state your arrival and your try out into one. Make it creative. I am hoping that this time, this will help others with a limit on time. If your student has questions feel free to post them here, and I will have Isabella answer to them accordingly.

The day was more than half spent as the sun was about a hand's span from the tree line. Milena felt a bit disappointed at herself as she approached the quidditch pitch, she wasn't present during the game last year. Which wasn't her fault in some way due to her mother's decision and the lights, still she wanted to show to her teammates this year that she'll be active and supportive. Dressed in her Slytherin robes, along with her gear. The blonde was able to arrive the pitch, with her same old blank face. She noticed Isabella, their team captain was already there. Milena figured that she was the first one to arrive, which was a good thing. She wanted to show her skills for the last time, as it was after all her last year in Hogwarts New Zealand. Being a seventh year, Milena hated her life in some ways. She wished that she could change her years and change her mistakes. One including meeting some people, but she only had limited time to do so. The Slytherin then approached Isabella with her emeralds streak on her hand, ready for the try-outs.

"Hey Isabella, Milena La Fleur trying out for seeker." she stated in her french accent. There was something missing about her statement so Milena decided to say one last phrase. "..for the last time." she said in a small voice. It was sad that it would be her last time saying her position, so hopefully after years of being in the team everything will go well as planned. She held her streak nearby and nodded twice, kicking the ground in a couple of seconds she was up in the air. As she swiftly flew down to get the snitch, she held it in her hand and let it free. Milena then continued to mount her broom, following the golden snitch. Quickly she flew, reaching for the golden snitch as it was only a few inches from her. Teasing and playing with the girl, Milena then pulled her broom closer to her. Making her speed faster than the normal, she could feel her hair getting all tangled even though she was wearing a ponytail.

Only a few inches more and the snitch would be here, Milena was glad that she was the first one to arrive and try-out. It gave her some bigger space to chase for the snitch, it was easy and hard at the same time for her. Still she liked the way the wind rushed through her face, Milena then stopped at the sky. Trying to feel if the snitch was closer as she somehow loose track of it. Just like that she figured that it was on the northern part of the pitch. The blonde mounted her broom as quickly as she can, following the snitch and in couple of minutes she was near to it. Slowly trying to follow it, Milena then jumped out knowing she would catch it. As she jumped, the Slytherin grabbed the the golden snitch her left hand. Leaving her broom still up on the air, it all ends there. In her left hand the golden snitch rested on her hand, she then rolled up and stood up. Commanding her broom to return to her as she held the snitch in her hand, slowly she approached their team captain and showed her the snitch. Glad and relaxed, Milena slightly smirked and waited for Isabella's approval. As well as her teammates, who will soon be arriving the Quidditch pitch as well. She stood there nearby, waiting for the others to try-out as well.

It was simply incredible on how time could just fly past by so swiftly. Artemis Jackson never knew that her second year was going to end, thus, advancing to a new level was best thing she was going to do. The sorting ceremony was something that she imagined countless times now and she replayed the memories all over again. It took time for her to even remember their names one by one, but the blonde gradually gave up on that little mental challenge. Right now, she wanted to focus on one of the main highlights of her school year, the tryouts for the Slytherin team. It seemed like a long month since her first try out but she knew that reality was definitely not the same. Another year has passed and the blonde wanted to take the position of the Keeper. Artemis held her broom in her dominant hand, her left, and walked silently to the Pitch. Her breathing was thankfully steady, unlike last time. Her very first tryout made her want to hyperventilate, but she thankfully stopped it just to pass. The blonde looked up from the ground, her blue eyes flashing brightly when she saw the Quidditch Pitch, drawing nearer to her.

Just like always, the Pitch was shining with brightness and the weather was in a good condition. The Slytherin third year walked to Isabella and greeted her with a small nod before even opening her mouth to speak. "Artemis Jackson, going for Keeper," Casually stated by the blonde as she looked at the unusual eyes of the captain. They were strange yet Artemis adored the colour that her eyes had. Artemis' blue eyes tore off at once when she knew what she was going to do for today. Limited time, she understood that. Artemis looked at her surroundings first and did not even try to catch the eye of the first person to arrive. She looked familiar, as if they had met before. The snitch was in her hands, but before Artemis had the guts to ask, she shook her head and returned herself on focus. Mounting herself on her broom, the teenager took a steady breath and flew to the skies, and turned to the direction of the hoops. There was it, the central, the right and the left hoops that she was longing to guard ever since the day before yesterday. The blonde recalled the time when she even had to rescue some boy who was unsteady on his broom but immediately looked at the Quaffles that were needed to be looked after.

Being a Keeper was actually better since Artemis did not really crave for some action. Last years Quidditch match beat her out, because of all the Beaters that were going and following their path. Alyss Summers was a good Chaser though, despite those times that she cursed the werewolf that Artemis already forgot about. For a while, she flew around the hoops, glad to see that her control over her Sienna Storm was improving a lot. For minutes she tossed away the Quaffles that were thrown into the hoops, and looked over at the Chasers who practiced their passing. The SlytherClaw versus GryffinPuff game went into mind as her blue eyes followed the direction of the Quaffle. Every time they would shoot, she would toss it back to them and flew backwards to get ready for any shot. Her speed too was improving, for all those numerous times that she practiced in the Quidditch Pitch. When everything was done, the Slytherin dove to get off her Sienna Storm. The blonde approached the captain, to hear what she still needed to say and what the result was. An alternative Keeper was still okay for the third year, though. As long as she was in the team, then that was great!

xD How I love the tryouts!

With piercing blue eyes reflecting back in the mirror, Kailie Lydia Styx admired the emerald green Quidditch robes that were upon her body. Her blonde hair fanned over her shoulders, and she narrowed her eyes at her reflection. This was never going to work if she was going for Chaser. Her blonde hair was too long. Getting a black ribbon, Kailie tied her hair back behind her head, as she looked in the mirror, showing that she had definitely aged and grown up since she was younger, clinging onto her brother Hades and her brother Kaleb. She was told the truth after she was in school that Jaken had simply been adopted. It was fine with her though. She had always seemed more drawn to Hades than any of her other siblings. Kailie knew that Quidditch ran through her bloodline. Kaleb was a Beater, but she was going to be a Chaser. Taking the Emerald streak in her hand, a gift from her father and mother, she held it in her hand, and she didn't think she would need the gear just yet. Kailie cast one more longing look into the mirror before she left the Slytherin House. She headed toward the grounds where the try outs were going to be held by a Slytherin Prefect, Isabella Romanes.

Arriving to the pitch, her blue eyes met with the ones of a strange hue, the color of magenta, Kailie spoke, her voice clear and somewhat laced with ice, "Kailie Styx. I am trying out for Chaser." The blonde girl looked over at other girls, noticing how alike they all seemed. All of them, were blondes. This could prove that not all blondes were not so intelligent. Especially when some others saw these girls in play. Kailie heard what they were going to have to do, before she mounted her broom and flew up with the quaffle in her position. Kailie started off with ducking the players, and the bludgers that were flying around like mad through the blue skies, determined to knock everyone they could off of their broomsticks. Focusing on the play at head, she flew forward, and passed the quaffle over to another Chaser before she ducked down, and flew closer and closer toward the hoops. Kailie made sure that she did not have the quaffle for too long, because she did not want to be like a quaffle hog at all. She wanted the red scarlet ball every so often, but not too often.

Gaining possession of the quaffle once more, she managed to shoot it, but she did not see if the person trying out for keeper was going to make it or not. Kailie could not care less at this point for now however. She was just showing off the skills that she had, something that she had been training herself up for under the watch of her older siblings. She caught the quaffle once it was tossed back, and she immediately passed it to another person trying out for chaser as she leaned forward on her broomstick, her hair in the ponytail flapping in the wind. Passing was a fun thing, and she enjoyed much of it. By the time that try outs had finished, Kailie had managed to make a shot at least three times, before she had landed with the other players as well, or those that were potential players. She was improving. After all, she was just a second year, and did not have much experience to her. However she thought that she was good enough to make the team. If not, it was not like she was going to cry to her dad about it. Her dad might be the Slytherin Head of House, but she would just get the whole 'Do better next time' or 'Too bad' speech. Or worse, ask her why she was bothering wasting her time with the sport.

Zayne had an eventful summer, one that involved living with his mother, seeing his two sisters, it was almost like he had a complete family without the harassing of that witch that hated people of his blood, which he didn't understand why. Zayne was currently getting dressed in his Quidditch robes, brand new and clean, and he was putting on some good tennis shoes so that he could be active. He had trained quite a bit over the break where he now lived on a beach house by the ocean where his dad owned the house. Sometimes it was better when he managed to get things together, and be with his family. Zayne could not ask for anything more. Though right now he was good to go with Quidditch, had his gear on and he had his broom in his hand. He was ready to get down to the pitch where the others would be waiting. Zayne headed out of the Slytherin house where he exited the dungeons and did not tell anyone where he was going. He did not think that he honestly needed to. This would be his third year on the team if he made it.

His pale silver eyes observed the lawns as he exited the castle, walking toward the Pitch was not that far from the castle. As soon as he arrived, he approached the Slytherin Prefect and the Captain of the Slytherin team, and said with pride, "Zayne Baros, going for Beater again." Of course he was quite proud with what he was trying out for. It then occurred to him that he was the only male on the team as of yet. This made him a little nervous because he didn't think that he would be singled out. But he was going for Beater, and he was going to protect these girls from being hit by those bludgers that were always charmed to be vicious. He took a bat off of the rack, and he mounted his broom before he soared into the skies, feeling the familiar warmth of the wind flash through his face and hair. The rush that he received from flight was something that he could never replace with anything else. Perhaps he should become a professional. He might one day, but now was not for him. Light gray eyes searched the skies to see of there were any bludgers after some of the team members.

Seeing a bludger going after one of the many blondes, Zayne leaned forward on his broom, zooming toward the bludger before he swung the bat, bringing a clash of thunder, and sending the bludger away. Though it was not until the next few moments when he saw another one, so Zayne leaned forward once more, before he ended up sending it away with ease. The Slytherin looked around, and he knew that him practicing over the break was really helping out when it comes down to his arms. Him handling the broom was doing rather well too. Not too much longer, he had lost count of how many bludgers he had sent away before the try outs came down to a close. Zayne stretched his shoulder before he lowered his broom to the ground. Zayne leaned on the broom, and hoped that he had made the cut for the third time. It would have been awesome if he did. He would be making his father proud. That was all that mattered to him, that and getting on the team itself. He needed something to do in his free time. Zayne brushed his long black hair out of his eyes, knowing that it probably looked like a mess with the wind cutting through it. Zayne looked over at the others, wondering who else had tried out for Beater. He could not have been the only one, right?

In all honesty, when Justin Kuya woke up in the morning and tamed his evil hair, he didn't expect to find himself at the Quidditch pitch, in qQuidditch robes, actually trying out. In the summer, it was a joke he and his twin had, who ever lost the race to the beach, which Justin soon discovered was a thirty minute run, would not have to try out for their houses Quidditch team. Justin soon realised that Drake had tricked him, and that he was no where near as active as his twin and he had lost, which was why he was here, at the pitch, confused. He didn't know much about Quidditch, not much at all, Drake was more of the fan, but he never actually wanted to play, Justin wasn't sure why until today, when he realised that Bludgers, actually set out to harm the people on the brooms. Confidence falling. Justin usually was not the sort of person to be nervous, but he wasn't sure he was going to love his brother anymore, in fact, right now, he hoped that Drake managed to fall out of the Gryffindor tower, fall into the lake and drown.

Justin sighed inwardly and joined the other Slytherins, not taking much notice of who they were, though he did notice that there was one guy other than himself, or what position they were taking. He didn't know why there was such a lack of male presence on the team, but at the moment he didn't care, he was concentrating on his memory, how to fly a broom, it was slowly coming back to him. All he knew was that he was going for Chaser, he trusted Drake enough to follow his advice, though he was never going to run a race with him again, ever. No matter how much he begged. He bit his lip as other announced what they were going for, than answered himself. "Justin Kuya. I'm trying out for Chaser..." He said, not really sure what he was going to do now that he had informed the girl in front of him what he was doing. He than listened to her instuctions. He mounted his broom and flew into the air, he was amazed at how much he remembered, he had not flown for ages, it was amazing. He kept in the general space of a blonde girl that was also going for Chaser, he caught the quaffle and flew ahead, a close call with a blugder, but he managed to miss it and continued onward, passing the quaffle to someone, he hung in their general direction again, waiting for the change to gain the quaffle, once again he flew forward and aimed the quaffle for the rings, hoping it reached it mark.

He was not sure of the score, he was too busy actually getting into the game, he had always been a good flyer, but he had never really played Quidditch, though the butterflies in his stomach were amazing and were caused by excitment. He recieved the quaffle again and continued to play, calming down as the try outs came to a close. He settled back down on the ground and held his broom by his side and then the questions in his head began. Could I actually do this without Drake? Did I make the cut? Would I die if a bludger happened to hit me? He kept himself silent for now, just waiting with new found patcience. He briefly looked at the other players, one guy was sporting crazy hair, but he didn't judge, right now his brown hair was probably sticking up like an Echidna.

We are wrapping up try outs in a week.
Anyone interested in being on the team (sorry first years) come on ahead and post!

Elbio wasn't planning to join his house's quidditch team. It was on the spot decision really and an attempt to meet more people. He had never been part of a group of people, he didn't know how that would work for him but he had decided to give it a try since he quite liked quidditch as a sport. After asking for directions from a lot of students that he found in his way in the grounds, he found the quidditch pitch. He admired the tall towers stands, dressed with the colors of the four houses.
"Hello. Elbio Aiello is the name. I would like to try out for chaser." he said to the girl that looked like she was in charge there. Possibly the captain of slytherin team.

Soon he was mounted on his broom, soaring in the air, following the other fellow slytherins that were trying fro chasers as well. He worked on passing the quaffle between him, another guy and a girl. He attempted to score a few times. His first attempts were quite clumsy, leading to failure. As the try outs were continuing, he managed to succeed and score a goal in the middle hoop. He tried a few more times, working on his technique, feinting his attempts before giving a shot to score. For the rest of his practice, he tried to steal the quaffle from other chasers. He would need to work more on that because when the try outs were over, he hadn't managed to snatch a quaffle yet. Not knowing about his progress and what the captain was thinking about his skills' demonstration, he landed back on the grass to listen to what else the captain had to say. Then he headed for a steamy shower to revitalize his stiff muscles.

Alyss left the dorms nice and early, and began heading up to the Quidditch Pitch, tightly holding onto her Emerald Streak. She couldn't believe that she had been on the Quidditch team for five years now, and this would be her sixth, if she made it again. A tiny smile spread on her face, as she remembered what she had been like when she was twelve. She had definitely changed a lot from the innocent young girl that she was then, and she couldn't believe that she had been so innocent, and could not even remember what it was like to be so innocent back then.

Reaching the Quidditch Pitch, Alyss noticed that she was one of the last ones there, and winced slightly. That wouldn't make a good impression. However, she still walked up to Isabella, and spoke confidently. 'Alyss Summers,' She said, unsure if Isabella remembered who she was, 'Trying out for Chaser, for the last time, unfortunately.' Her brown eyes darted around where the other players stood, and she nodded slightly to the others that were on the team with her last year, before her eyes fell onto the people that hadn't been on the team before. Her eyes narrowed, and she concentrated on them. Some of them didn't look like they could handle much, but Alyss could be wrong. She just hoped that they'd prove themselves, and she'd feel confident that next year, they'd have a strong team that would be able to beat the other houses like they did last year.

She ran her hand through her hair, and turned to face Isabella once more, listening to her directions. Nodding once in reply, she pulled her long, blonde hair up in a high pony-tail with a green elastic, and mounted her streak, flying as fast as she could. The wind blew against her face and hair, and she could not help the grin that spread across her face. Flying was where she belonged. Flying was her life. She hoped that she would be able to play it professionally after Hogwarts as well.

She made sure to grab the Quaffle, and fly as fast as she could, as well as to have an attempt at goals, making sure to show off what she could do, and how she had improved from the previous years. However, she also made sure to show how her passing had improved, because she didn't want to be thought of as a ball hog, like that Briar girl from last year. Her eyes narrowed at the thought of Briar, and she spurred her broom forward, leaning as far forward as she could, while still managing to keep her balance. She aimed a powerful shot at the right hoop, but didn't glance at the hoops to see if it went through. She just wanted to show what she could do, and how much her being on the team had improved her. She had practiced during the holidays, and she was sure that this showed in her tryouts.

When the tryoutrs were finished, she flew back down to where Isabella waited, and dismounted from her broom gently. She was sure that her hair was probably messy, but she honestly didn't care. She wanted to find out if she made the team for her last year. She wanted to find out if she had made the team for the last time.
