Damian Metzger was ecstatic about having Quidditch again, he could just smell it in the air. Damian had his scarlet streak next to him, and he also had his ruby red Quidditch robes on, yet no gear on because he would not be trying out, he would be assigning others their positions. He was a sixth year now, and not as happy and piper anymore. Instead, he had gotten a little more serious. He had a list of members right now, but he did not know how many would be able to return from the previous year. Some graduated, but he hoped that he would have the same members that are still in the school to try out. Damian did not expect anyone to try out for seeker, because he was the seeker. But hey, someone could be his alternate! Sipping at a bottle of iced pumpkin juice, he waited for the others to come on down to the pitch, and try out for the team.
OOCOut of Character:
Okay guys, you know the drill, post arriving, but the real try outs will determine your spot on the team. Just walk up to Damian and announce what spot you want along with your name.

It was the gryffindor quidditch Tryouts today and briar wouldn't miss them for the world. she would even give up her shiny new prefect badge in order to be on the team, and that was saying something. even though she didn't think that she would become prefect in million years she had found that she was actually quite good at the role and was glad that she had been chosen.
Briar put on some comfy sports clothes. she then picked up her broom and made her way up to the north tower. she knew that people would find it off to be going to the north tower for quidditch trials but she had found the previous year that the north tower was the best place to start because she enjoyed the sudden thrill of falling before she mounted her broom.
once she reached the tower she looked round to make sure that no one was watching as it would be an irresponsible way to be a role model for younger students before jumping off and feeling the air shoot by and the earth rise to meat her. quickly she mounted the broom and leaned forward causing her to shoot forward like an arrow. in almost no time she was passing over the stands of the pitch and slowly coming to a stop in front of the captain where she dismounted. she noticed briefly that she was the first person there to try out, but she wasn't too surprised flying was a lot faster than walking. "hello Damian, I'm still Briar and want to try out for chaser again" she said as she knew that she had to introduce herself as park of the tryout but after being on the team for the last three years he already should have known her

The Gryffindor Qudditch try-outs had finally arrived! James couldn't wait to try out for the team and maybe even become part of it. His brother was great at Quidditch, and had been on the team every year except for his first year. He went over to Damian Metzger, the leader of the team, and told him what he would like to try out for. "Hello, I'm James Slick. I'd like to try out for seeker!" James thought that Seeker was the best part of the team because you could gain many points for your team and win the game. It also seemed pretty fun, after flying class.

Heidi, was flat out delirious. Crazy, insane, whatever word best suited this situation, Heidi was it. She had no experience on the broom, except her first year at Hogwarts. Other than the first years (which by the way had been the worst flight experience of her life), Heidi had nothing. To top it off, she was slim like a pencil and like a pencil very frail in so many ways. It gets worst, she had the nerve to walk like she knew the school system by hand and introduce herself. "Yes I'm Heidi Longbottom.." she said to the older boy and the worst part came, "I want to try out for beater" she had the broom, a good broom in hand (thanks to her aunt) and she had the confidence. All that was missing was skills, apparently she miss that part of the sign up sheet.

Danielle, excited for, her first time to have the chence to be in Her Quidditch Team, ran around the grounds, towards the Quidditch Pitch. She had two, places in mind. Chaser, and Seeker. She had learned from some older years, that seeker was difficult to get, and if you were to get it, it would most likely be the alternate. Wanting to be ing the spotlight, she quickly decided on chaser. Danielle, was one of the best flyers, in her first year class, it just came to her naturally. When she made it there she walked up to the older boy. "Danielle Warbeck. Chaser. Nice to meet you. And just for formality, what is your name?" Danielle said, confidently, smiling towards the older boy. Danielle tilted her head to the side, for a second and brought it back. She was a bit over-confident. But She thought, it was better than being to weak about it. She smiled and hopped on her broom to fly a few laps around the Pitch.

Riley skipped down to the Quidditch Pitch, arm in arm with with her best friend Neveah. She had barely seen her over the last year, only during Quidditch. Riley was spending most of her time with her boy friend, Jerrod, who Nevaeh didn't approve too much of. It didn't stop Riley from liking him, from her point of view, he hadn't done anything to her to loose her trust. However, Nevaeh heard the rumors of his bullying other people, and just wanted to look out for her friend. Riley appreciated it, but got sick of her constant shaking of her head and mean looks whenever she left the dormitory.
But it didn't matter at this point. She was happy that she was with Nevaeh, doing the same thing that made them bond more last year. They reached the Captain, and each took turns to greet him. "Hey there Damian! Riley Sparkles, trying for chaser again." She grinned excitedly, keen to get back onto her Streak.

Skipping down to the Quidditch Pitch with Riley made it feel like the good old times. A lot of the last year, Nevaeh had been by herself, just floating throughout the school, not really making much of a name for herself. She hated being by herself, and felt very alone without her best friend. Being fifteen, having a girlfriend by your side was very important, and Nevaeh was missing her best friend terribly. And what made matters worse was that Riley was with a Slytherin - a boy with a horrible reputation, and Nevaeh was scared he was going to hurt her best friend. In some ways, if they broke up it would be good for Nevaeh, but she hoped it would be Riley's decision, so she would be okay with it.
Giggling with Riley made Nevaeh feel so much better, and they reached the Quidditch Pitch with smiles on their faces. Nevaeh waited while Riley greeted the Captain, before she moved forward, repeating the same thing, only using her name instead.

<COLOR color="#000">Taking his scarlet streak, Rakas went on down to the Quidditch Pitch wearing the same gear that he had worn previously. He liked being on the team because it meant that he was apart of something. The hyper kid saw that there was a group of girls and hardly any guys. Shrugging, he strolled on up and he announced, "I am trying out for Beater! Rakas Varius, and greetings to you." He probably looked really lame just then but he could care less. He did not mind it at all. He just wanted to get this started so that he could get on the team and so that he could show those bludgers who was boss. Rakas was really good at being a beater, but he was not going to go professionals. He did this during his free time, and even with the OWLs looming, he was going to stay in Quidditch even if he had a bludger knock out half of his brain cells.

<COLOR color="black">Damian looked over the group of cubs that arrived, and it appeared that he was the oldest one here in the bunch. He could not help but smile at Briar and he knew her name by this point. She was a prefect too along with Riley Sparkles. He took down the names and the positions that they were going for but they were lacking a keeper. Damian bit his lip and he let out a sigh. He introduced himself to the team, with a voice that did not seem to waver in the least bit so it meant that he was good in public speaking, "Okay guys, I am your captain, the team seeker, and also if you don't know my name yet, Damian Metzger. This is how it is going to go. Two laps around the pitch, one at moderate speed and the next at your fastest speed, before you take to the positions I assign you. Beaters, you will have to use only one arm, holding a bat." Damian waved his wand and used the leviatation charm to lift up the beaters bats and give them to the Longbottom and Varius, his teal eyes on them. "You guys take to the skies after your laps, and hit the bludgers. Slick, we already have a Seeker, which is me but if we need an alternate, go on ahead, so if you want, grab a snitch from the case and release it. Then catch it. Chasers, for now you all will have to pass the quaffle back and forth, because we don't really have a keeper right now. One of you can practice being a keeper to let the others. Riley, you don't mind being the keeper right now, do you?" Damian tapped the case with his foot, and after the two laps were done by everyone, the bludgers were released, and he used magic to toss the quaffle to the nearest Chaser trying out. He was going to be flying around on his own streak to see how many people would qualify on the team.

OOCOut of Character: Instructions
Just follow Damian's instructions, and remember, the better the RP, the better chances that you make it on the team and get the position you want!

Danielle smiled and nodded towards the captain, who introduced himself as, Damian. She smiled, and started her laps around the Quidditch Pitch. She worked pretty well, on the broom. She thought of it a some sort of race, even though it wasn't. "3rd." She whispered to herself. When it was the faster lap, she raced up to 2nd. "Alright." She smiled. When Damian threw her The Quaffle, She smiled gleefully. At first she just threw the Quaffle around, but that got to boring so she deicded to be a show-off. She went up in the air, and threw the Quaffle up, went straight up, to get, just before it started to drop down. She let go of it and caught right before it hit the ground. She threw it to the right and swirled to the right, just to catch it! The person asting a keeper, must have been confused, or even, amazed, so when Danielle threw the Quaffle, it zoomed right past her and into the ring. Danielle Raised her arms up, and yelled, "WOO! And the crowd goes wild!" Danielle yelled playfully. "Sorry about that, got a little excited! Anyways, I'll be keeper now, so you can try out for the spot you wanted!" Danielle smiled. She flew over to the girl, and handed her the Quaffle.</COLOR></FONT>

OOCOut of Character:
I'm sorry about the small godmod, I just thought thats what it would be like. This is my first time doing this, so I'm not sure I got this correct or not.

Georgiana Night was enjoying her third year so far even though she was barely into it. Her boyfriend, a fifth year was already working hard for his tests, being a Ravenclaw it is a given after all. But Georgie decided she'd go for another year of Quidditch being last year was alot of fun even though it had been more work then she had expected. Running down to the pitch in her warm up outfit she skidded to a stop near Damian. She was glad that the captain hadn't changed yet and he was still at the school, he managed to keep them going last year during the long winter months and Georgiana felt she had alot to learn from him still. "Hey there, I'm up for going for my spot again," she said glancing at a second year who had proclaimed going out for the spot just before she got there. Which Georgiana didn't mind, afterall last year she had beaten a 7th year was it? She couldn't quite remember and it didn't seem like she did have much competition cause it seemed they were all out for the chaser spots. Standing patiently watching the chaser pass the ball around she watched them get closer and closer to the girl who was acting as keeper; waiting for Damian to give her the go to get up in the air and in front of the hoops. Which she had found herself calling her own in her head.

Briar smiled back a Damian, they were both prefects, and she had been on the team for years, she hoped to be captain when he graduated, and then go on to play professionally. a few more students turned up and soon they were ready to try out.
When Damian said what he wanted them to do she got back on her broom and shooting around the pitch like a bullet, she easily faster than the rest. she let one of the younger students take the ball to begin with, and make her way to up keeping the girl with the quaffle covered. she was being a little bit reckless but it was sort of what she had been doing at her first quidditch try out. however after the ball had scored a goal she took the ball and pelted away to the middle of the pitch before turning back and zig zagging back up the field. there she was going fast and the rest of the pitch seemed a blur, but she was used to speed and was able to dodge every thing, she even thought she saw a glimmer from the snitch but she didn't pay attention to it. she barrel rolled as a bludger came at her, from her position upside down, mid roll she threw the ball to one of the other chasers letting them try out. she had been on the team for a few years already and she gathered Damian knew what she was capable of, so she may as well let someone else have a go at trying out.

Heidi listens to Damian’s instructions. She stood rooted on spot and look at the bat that came hailing at their direction. Oddly she caught it, funny a girl with no experience in the sport she was able to catch the bat with a good grip. She swung the bat side to side, this instrument heavy. Never mind that, Heidi ran towards the middle of the pitch at the same time she mounted her broom taking for the skies. Not bad for a good start, she was feeling that overcoming confidence. Luci, her aunt would be proud of Heidi. In a weird and unexplainable way, flying felt like…sailing for her. She got the same feeling when she way up high, rocking forth on her broom, Heidi dive to achieve her two laps around the pitch.

The feel of it all seem easy, she had mastered in just a few seconds, yet when she got to the part at swinging her bat, Heidi almost fell out of balance. The broom flew into the direction of the hoops in the mist of trying to a cut boulder away from one of the other players on the field. She did a fierce turn by the hoops and felt her broom barge right at it, not stopping on time the broom hit the hoop and made Heidi hurled at another direction. She fell still holding her broom, the only way she could regain herself right back up there was to fall. Thank Merlin, the fall and the broom coming down with her was no more than five feet in the air. Somehow she had lost distant already in the air when she lost control of the broom and for that she was capable of breaking her fall at fife feet up. Landing on her back, she let out a slight relief, ”I’m alright…alright I think” she stood up dusting her pants off.

OOCOut of Character:
She hit the hoop and went hurling down where the broom manage to stop at fight feet above air and that's how she fell, sorry she never played the sport at all xD

Georgiana was getting antzy about getting up to the hoops. She moved her weight from foot to foot as she watched the others go for their own spots. Glancing towards the hoops she saw a girl fall and a bat fell not far from her feet. "Are you sure?" She asked leaning over picking up the bat to give to the girl as she said she was alright. During her previous year on the team she had seen plenty of kids take various routes to the Pitch's ground and falling almost never ended well. Once the bat was out of her hands she gripped her broom with both her hands hoping she'd be sent off soon, though she hadn't played a game since their last match the previous year Georgie spent most of her summer on her broom trying to increase her speed and manuvers.

The young girl watched as Briar, one of the chasers, dodge a bludger. Those were the kind of moves she had been practicing, for some reason the beaters on the other teams decided she should be the one to go last year. Getting hit over and over taught her to move or be hurt. Beater had been one of the spots she had been interested in the previous year but she found Keeper to suit her just fine. And now even though she wanted to get up there and block the quaffle she respected Damian as the captain and waited for his go ahead.

This is the day LeAnn had been waiting for. If someone would have told her two years ago that she would be doing this today she would have laughed in their faces as it just wasn’t something LeAnn ever could have seen herself doing. Then again, she had been brought up by a super model for a mother so Quidditch wasn’t something that people would expect someone like LeAnn to be in too. Technically she wasn’t in too it, well not when she was younger anyway, she only found her love for it recently when Andrew came into her life and started taking her to his Quidditch practices and games and such when her mother was pregnant and continued to do so even now when she was off on holiday. So today she knew she was doing this to prove to people that she wasn’t just a pretty face, even though she was, and that she had some other hidden talents. She had taken one of Andrew’s old beaters bats, which was still good despite being used before he got his new one, and made her way to the Quidditch pitch. She knew that the Captain was Kristen, one of her best friends, half brother so she assumed that he would put her on the team but after hearing how he treated Aphrodite last year she decided not to push her luck, she knew that he’d be stupid not to put her on the team when he saw her moves anyway. When she got to the pitch she introduced herself and told Damien that she was trying out for beater and took a seat, not wanting to be seen socialising with people that she didn’t know and was probably better than.

Upon hearing the instructions LeAnn got up off of her seat and grabbing her broom she mounted it and soared into the air was ease. Having a professional Quidditch Player and beater at that as her mother’s boyfriend, LeAnn had been able to get a few tips about how to handle herself on the broom and whatnot, especially with the bat. It was tricky at first but LeAnn was stronger and stronger than people thought, so she was able to handle the bad pretty easily. LeAnn started with a simple lap of the pitch and being so tiny she had the advantage of being pretty agile on the broom so she was able to throw in a few swoops and swerves in the air before leaning forward on her broom more and speeding off, going past a few of the other players that were obviously just too slow, she rolled her eyes at them and continued on to finish the lap. Once she’d finished the lap she stopped a waited for the bludgers to be released. Once they were she got the feel of the bat in her hand once more before speeding off after the bludgers.

As she flew about she saw a bludger coming towards her she narrowed her eyes at it, collecting all her strength and concentration into the centre of the bludger. Seeing the bludger get closer and closer she raised the bat above her head and as soon as it was close enough she let the bat fall and with an almighty force she hit the bludger in the very centre. Smirking as she heard a loud clack noise echo through the empty sky, LeAnn watched as the bludger flew into the distance. Once she made sure it wasn't going to fly back at her she swiftly turned her broom in a circle and flew off so she could check around for the other bludger. Flying around aimlessly as she waited for the other bludger to show itself she began to wonder where it was. Behind her she heard a swooshing noise, turning round she saw a bludger heading straight for her. With her instincts kicking in she immediately leaned down on her broom so she was just below the bludger. Flying out to the side a little and pulling up on her broom she was able to position herself behind it. Tailing the bludger until she was within hitting distance of it she raised her bat arm and with another swing she hit the bat with as much force as she could muster. LeAnn continued to fly around on the lookout for more bludgers, so far she felt she was doing a great job!

Hearing some more voices, Damian turned his eyes to see their former keeper return and he beamed. Damian was awfully glad to see her. "Okay, then, you take the hoops, Georgiana. Glad that you are back." Damian's teal eyes then wondered over to watch the rest of the team try out. If anyone wanted a spot on the team, they had better get their rears here soon. Damian thought that they needed a few more players. And then his eyes caught the actions of LeAnn, and he rolled his eyes a bit. They might be distant cousins, but hell, she was meaner than a striped snake, like his sister. However he was going by skill, not by personal grudge.

Rakas grabbed his broom, mounted it and he listened to what the Captain said. He smirked a bit, before he raced off to do those two laps around the pitch this time rather than last year, with one arm. It was rather easy for the young Gryffindor because he was good at flying. Rakas made sure he was a good twenty feet in the air. Leaning forward on his broomstick, he raced forward to get the tryouts done and over with. Rakas finished one lap, so the other he wanted to go just a little faster. He leaned forward once more, and he gained some speed. He seemed to be doing a lot better than the previous year because he had been without his bat. He had it this time, and Rakas felt like someone had a weight lifted from his shoulders. Rakas finished his lap, and he continued to hold his bat. He clinched it with his right hand, and he took to the skies again. He wished the other one going for beater some luck, as well as some others that were trying out because Rakas was a friendly boy.

Rakas caught the sight of one bludger, and he swooped in, in an odd angle, and almost flipped over the side of the broom to whack it as hard as he could away from the chaser. Rakas swung back around, rightside up and he continued to fly around the pitch. His right arm started to ache from that first hit, but that was a sign for him. A sign that he needed to work harder and get this thing done! Rakas soared around the pitch once more, hitting another few bludgers including keeping the youngest ones from getting hit. He flew over, and saw another one. His emerald green eyes narrowed and he leaned forward. Rakas was a fifth year now and this one seemed to be going after a chaser trying out. He had hit this one, and this time the bludger went straight into the ground. Rakas was going to grab another bludger but then he saw someone fall down on the ground. Rakas smiled lightly, and he soared down to land, before he inquired from the girl that was trying out that fell onto the ground, "Hey, you all right?" Rakas had the beater's bat over his shoulder before he made sure that his broom was not going anywhere.

Georgiana beamed back at the team's Captain, she was happy to hear that he was glad to have her back for another year, it meant alot for the young girl. She had tried her hardest to learn the spot last year and managed to do quite a good job in her opinion and prehaps the Score boards as well, and after practicing for the summer she figured she was even better. "Right-O Captian Cheerio," she said her American humor coming out before she took off towards the hoops. Georgiana explained the Captain's orders to the Chasers that were up in the sky, they no longer had to take turns at the Hoops. But with four chasers up there it wasn't a fair number against her but she was sure she could take them on and urge them all to keep practicing passing and going for the hoops. Stopping most of the throws at her three hoops a few slipped her reach by a few inches those from the more experienced players who'd been on her team all last year. It fun to be practicing on the Pitch once more and she even spotted the Snitch hovering around the hoops every once in awhile. She wasn't sure who was suppose to be looking for it but whoever was wouldn't beat the Captain for the spot on the team, she knew that much about the sport, it made her hope one day she could earn the title and have her spot granted to her each year she was.

When Briar that saw one of the girls had crashed into the goal she stopped worrying about the try outs and made sure that she wasn't hurt. "Are you okay Heidi?" she said remembering the girls name from when she had introduced herself earlier. when she was certain that the girl was not injured she got back onto her broom. she took off again
she shot into the air before slowly arching around to face the goals again. she caught the quaffle, and then zigzagged forward. this time she was keeping the quaffle for herself. she dodged a couple of players, she wasn't sure who they were or even which position they were going for, they were just a blur. she ducked under someone, and rose up again by time she had reached the goals. the scarlet ball was tucked under her left arm, she swerved slightly to the right to give the impression of going to the right hoop, however at the last moment she flicked he ball sideways, backhand almost towards the left goal. it was a powerful shot, and accurate. she had been practicing a lot of different moves over the summer, and this was one of her favourites.

Riley nodded her head when Damian asked her to take the hoops. She had seen the previous Keepers, so she had some understanding of how to protect the hoops, but she was definitely nervous because it wasn't something she was particularly good at. Riley hopped on her Streak and flew around the field a couple of times, a smile growing on her face, happy to be in the air again. Riley laughed gleefully as a younger girl flew past her speedily, making it a race. She grinned at Nevaeh before leaning forward and speeding on her broom, racing the girl around the field.
After getting the feel of flying back, Riley shot off to the hoops, watching the girls pass the quaffle carefully. She cocked an eyebrow in confusion as she saw the same younger girl that made it a race playing with the ball. She huffed slightly, wishing that she had given Nevaeh a chance to show her skills too. However, before Riley even got a chance to get her thoughts back into keeper-mode, the girl had thrown the ball through the hoops. Riley huffed in frustration, she hadn't even been able to stop the ball! Keeper was definitely out of the picture for her. Riley nodded her head, letting the girl take over the hoops, before she saw another younger girl fall to the ground. Riley immediately flew to the girl, who stood up saying she was alright. A sigh of relief came out of Riley's mouth before she flew back up, catching the Quaffle that Nevaeh threw at her. Riley threw the ball around a couple of times, throwing to the hoops as well, before throwing it over to her Prefect-partner Briar. She watched as Briar sped around the field, a smile on her face, happy to be playing quidditch again.

As Danielle saw a girl, spin out and fall Danielle flew over. She smiled as she said she was okay. She flew back up, to her spot. As the girl, who introduced herself, as Georgina, had told them the instructions, she smiled and said, "I guess we are ready, lets start it!" She threw the Quaffle towards the hoop. A lot of the time was back and forth between the the four chasers, and one keeper, but as Danielle hovered over someone, the quaffle came rushing at her, she caught it, but spun out of control, and dropped the quaffle, and was hanging on her brooom by one hand. "No one help me. I can get out of this." Danielle said, in a serious tone. She wanted to help herself. She pulled up her other arm. Grabbed the broom. Now she was hanging by two arms. She tried to pull herself up. Slipped. She tried again, and surely enough, she was safely back on her broom. "Phew." Now she quickly went for the Quaffle she dropped. She got it and flew back up, and she went in a zig-zagged fashion. Laughing she dropped the Quaffle, This time on purpose, she went for it, pretending she did on purpose, she got it but as soon as she got it, she threw it under the keeper, and into the hoop. "Yay!" She smiled.

The four chasers flew back and forth in front of her tossing around the Quaffle working on passing for the most part as she flew side to side slightly keeping her eyes on as many of them at a time as she could to watch their different plays, it was nice to be playing with real players once again. Trees never quite compared to actual players that moved.

Georgiana watched the youngest chaser as she hung from her broom and saved herself from falling. As the girl got back up and retrived the ball she kept her eyes on her and her periferial vision on the others who didn't seem to be apart of any of the girls plans. She wanted to make a shot with involving the rest of the team. Georgie shook her head as the girl dropped the ball again then started a zigzag back up. The young girl throw the ball to one of the outer hoops but didn't manage to watch fully thinking she had gotten it in but Georgiana turned around with the Quaffle in hand and tossed it over towards Riley for her to catch with a smile on her face. The fakeout failure played out better then she thought it would, it was one she practiced with her brother over the summer making him think he had made it in when she actually caught it instead.

"Yes I'm fine, I'm fine the drop was just few feet in the air." she told her teammate who happen to crowd the young lioness after that frightful fall. "I'm not good at playing but I figure I give a try captain since I seen a few tournaments of my own up close" she told nobody in particular. She went by a tree and sat down through the rest of try-outs. She gave it her best shot, there's nothing more she could do except practice here on out.

Aphrodite Snow dashed through the empty corridors at lightening speed, her long honey blonde hair tied into a ponytail flowed graciously behind her. Today was the tryouts for the Gryffindor Quidditch team and Aphrodite was aware that she was probably late for the tryouts. But she had run into some serious issues in the hallway earlier involving her older brother and some of his obnoxious friends. They caught up a ton of her time and she hoped that the Captain would still allow her to try out when she arrived at the Pitch. Aphrodite had a lot of talent when it came to flying and she wanted so badly to be on the team and support her house. Flying a broomstick was something Aphrodite tried to learn at an early age because she wanted to better than her brother Romaine. And as the fate's would have it, Aphrodite felt that she was much better than her brother ever was and ever would be. Now she wanted to put her talent to use and have a little fun while doing this. Krystin suggested the girls get involved with activities and stuff last year but Quidditch wasn't allowed. She even begged Damian to let her try out because she knew she had what it takes to come out on top. But she was told no. This could be another possibility for her outcome this year as well because she knew that Damian didn't like her too much. Thanks to that time he got her into trouble for flying through the corridors. Finally she was out of the castle and onto the pitch! She could see various students clad in red already on their brooms and flying around. This made a flurry of butterflies flutter around inside her stomach. She really hoped she was able to try out. The young Gryffindor knew she could do well if she was given the chance. Hopefully Damian's dislike for her wouldn't count against her or anything. She approached Damian with her brand new broom in her hands and bit her lip. "Sorry I'm late. Had a little bit of a problem getting down here and stuff. I'd like to try out for Chaser, though." Aphrodite told Damian curtly. Her dark blue eyes briefly meeting with his before she received an okay to go ahead and get started with her tryout. Because she had been late she knew she would have to step things up just a little and pull out every little trick she possibly could. Girl or not, she knew how to play and she knew how to fly. She would prove that much to Damian.

Tightening the grip on the large red bow within her hair for spirit affect, Aphrodite mounted her broom and didn't waste a second in kicking off the ground and skyrocketing into the sky. Like a fiery dragon chasing after it's prey. Once she was a fair distance up in the sky Aphrodite settled to a stop and lifted one of her hands off the broom, she used it to give a thumbs up for someone to throw a Quaffle up into the air. Once it was released for her she shot out and immediately her smaller hand latched onto it like a pile of feather's did to glue and tucked it under her arm so she could fly with it. She leaned forward with her broom and shot off towards the hoops. Her eyes were dead set on getting the Quaffle through the middle one this time. The young cub narrowly avoided the bludgers and other players but still was able to get near the hoops. The objects around the pitch were her weak point. She had a tendency to crash. Aphrodite shifted the Quaffle into her hand and threw it viciously towards the center hoop. It flew in with great ease and Aphrodite smiled before she pumped her fist into the air once. This was only allowing Damian to see that she was pretty good at shooting without messing around, which was probably the most original way to do it. Just plain ol scoring. As the Keeper started to get ready again Aphrodite once again found herself gaining the Quaffle and flying around with it. Once or twice she found herself nearly dropping the Quaffle or running into bludgers, but she hoped it was nothing too serious. The next thing she tried involved her flying at the hoops and pretending she was going to throw it in one hoop, but really was aiming for another. The first time it failed, much to her dismay but Aphrodite wasn't going to get discouraged and was eager to try it again. The Keeper was talented so she knew she needed to keep her eye out. This time as she flew at the Hoop her fingers gripped so tightly at the Quaffle that she swore she was going to give herself marks. Finally she reached the hoops and pretended to throw it in the Hoop again and when the Keeper tried to block it she threw it right in the center, scoring once again. 'I'm surprised I haven't been knocked off my broom yet or anything.' Aphrodite thought with a simple roll of her eyes. Her hands gripped the edge of the broom and she flew off at intense speed to try and get the Quaffle back. Aphrodite ended up getting it once but when she dropped it she knew it would be a bit before she had the chance to get it once again. Gosh dropping the dang Quaffle was so embarrassing!

Aphrodite flew around the pitch a couple of times to show off that she knew how to fly without falling and hurting herself, for now. But the second time she rounded the pitch she noticed the Quaffle and flew towards it. Once again her small fingers grasped a hold of it. Aphrodite smiled and tossed it up and over another player but made sure to speed up so she could fly over and grab it once again. That was the only trick she knew and it wasn't very cool. But she was still young and planned to work on her skills more and more. Aphrodite shot a few more goals, she missed some and she managed to score some too. She wasn't a titan when it came to Quidditch, but she knew she wasn't bad. But the young Gryffindor was worried that she may not make it at all. There was a lot of good people trying out today. And Aphrodite knew that she wasn't well liked. So she would just have to hope that she had done well enough. Without another thought Aphrodite finished her tryout and landed on the ground elegantly. "And you said I didn't know how to fly." Aphrodite winked at Damian before she started to comb through her wind tossed blonde hair. That was fun, she just hoped it would be good enough. If not there was always next year.

Looking up, she noticed, and it turns out that the keeper had caught it! "That was really good! Nice job!" She smiled towards the girl. She had to hand it to the girl, that was pretty good, as that move was one of Danielle's good moves. She thought, that was good - a good keeper, helps make an awesome team! As the other players went, she decided, she wanted to go again, so when she got the Quaffle, she did a quick, throw around, throwing it back and forth, in her hands getting ready for her move. She spiraled up, and threw the Quaffle around her. As it made its 5th lap around her, and threw it right towards the hoop. If a fakeout didn't work, maybe distracting will. She though.
