I guess we can set this up on the beginning of the school year?? Perhaps??

There was something about different houses, and different colors that really bugged Joshua since he first stepped in this school. It was stupid, and kinda wasted space in the back of his mind, but no matter how much he tried to ignore it wouldn't go away. Of course, everything about this school bugged him and scared him pretty much all the time! However, he couldn't get over the separation of colors, weren't they all learning the same thing in every class? How does an old, dusty hat that looks like tia threaded rags together and called it a hat. How did that hat know where he belonged?! Ravenclaw, house of wits and knowledge, those words didn't sound like him at all. He felt, he felt a little misplaced. It didn't make sense to him how he ended in blue and silver tie. Joshua obsessed about it constantly, maybe even more while he ate meals away from the others. One morning his subconscious lead him to the wrong table during breakfast. He sat near the end like always, except this time he wasn't sitting with his blue and silver clothed peers. He wouldn't noticed, Joshua sat quietly eating away at his bowl of cold cereal.

OOC: Of course!! Whatever works! Sorry this took ages

<COLOR color="black">Xavier was back for another year. He couldn't believe how fast his first year went, and now his sister Sam was here at Hogwarts with him. Xavier wasn't really happy about the fact that she was in an entirely different house, but he knew she wouldn't have a problem. Xavier was oblivious to the fact that she actually didn't want to be in the same house as him, that she wanted to be seen as different from the rest of her siblings. Xavier just wanted the best for her and hopefully she would get it in Slytherin. He was eating his breakfast as usual, with the rest of his fellow puffs, when he noticed someone take a seat next to him, and Xavier recognised the person from his grade, from some of his classes. But he was pretty sure that the other boy wasn't in his house. Maybe he'd been mistaken? Xavier wasn't, of course, against people socialising outside of their own house, though he was surprised. He didn't know whether he should point it out to him - it didn't seem polite enough. So instead he said,
"The food here is really good, isn't it."

"Ummmm..." Joshua paused, he wasn't sure if the boy next to him was addressing him. He spent a whole year avoiding people, and that's typically what he did. Except, he knows the boy was talking to him. And Joshua didn't know how to respond to that, on the count his cereal was losing it's crunch by the minute. And it's cold cereal. "I g-guess so? Cornflakes." The boy dug his silver spoon inside the bowl, scoop up, and proceed to eat his breakfast. He's oblivious to the fact he was at the wrong table. The boy sitting next to him, Joshua wouldn't know his name or a thing about him. Like his housemates, they were all strangers to Joshua. His tia calls him lazy and says he should open up to magic now the truth was uncovered from his family. Joshua doesn't see that happening any time soon. The truth frighten him, and ignorance is bliss. Joshua would very much just like living in the shadows, if he could.

No problem!

Xavier wasn't sure what he had hoped to hear from the boy sitting next to him, but that hadn't been exactly it. He seemed nervous, or maybe he wasn't used to talking to people he didn't know - or maybe, Xavier somehow looked intimidating, which would be a first. He nodded as the other boy mentioned the cornflakes, and continued eating as if nothing had happened, as if they hadn't even talked. "Cornflakes are good." Xavier agreed, though he was t really sure what else to say on that topic. "I'm Xavier, Hufflepuff," he introduced himself, putting a hand out for his classmate to shake, unaware as to whether he was used to such formalities.

Joshua continues to munch on his cold, tasteless cereal. He forgot to add some sugar to his cornflakes. Probably hadn't planned on eating the whole bowl this morning. "Mmm, they can be." He hummed as he munch. "I'm Joshua, Raven━━━." Joshua felt the flush rise from his neck up. He looked over at the boy, and then the boy's neighbors. Yellow and black necktie, and the little badger pinned on their clothes. He was sitting at the wrong table! Joshua, dropped his spoon in his bowl and forced his hands shield his mouth and a bit of his nose. "I'm at the w-wrong table." He says a little panicking and whispering as he was afraid to get in trouble.

Alexis just came down from the common room for breakfast, psyched to get started on the new school year. She was just on time to eat the meal with friends if ever she found some. She bent down to adjust her shoes before she went down the last flight of stairs and entered the Great Hall. Not too many people were there, that the Ravenclaw noticed. Scanning her blue eyes around the tables, they caught Joshua sitting on the Hufflepuff table with Xavier from that house. Glad to see two people she met on the train on theit first year, she decided to head over and join them. "Good morning, guys. Are you excited for the school year?",she asked, just as she soon as she was in front of the two boys."May I join you?",she added with a friendly smile.
