15:27pm. That was the time that flashed across Jessica's touch screen phone as she brushed her thumb across the phone lightly. A small sigh breezing past her pursed lips, she stuffed the phone back into her handbag and continued trudging down the almost empty street. "Hey sexy!" She heard and glanced at the guy who had called it out, he was staring at her body, not her face. Figures. She had a nice body for a girl who was sixteen and she liked showing it off, though it almost wasn't worth it for some of the disgusting comments that she received from it. The Slytherin fifth year girl was wearing a white tank top with a black mini skirt with black flats. One thing she liked about her body was that the tan on it was even all around. 'How disgusting.' She muttered to herself, rolling her eyes and continued down the street.

Since she wasn't watching where she was going, as she was still disgusted by the comment that she had heard from the guy and stepped on an even part of the pavement and fell forward, normally she wouldn't have hurt herself from falling over like this, but when she landed, there was a loud crack from her left ankle and she winced loudly in pain. It was all she could do to not scream in pain, it seemed her left ankle was broken and she had never even broken a bone before. Now she knew what everyone was talking about when they said that it was the most painful thing that you ever felt. How was she going to get up?

xSorry it's so lamex

It had been a particularly idle afternoon for Izaak and Alexis; he having had the day off
work and she, well she having had nothing better to do than make the most of it with
him. For the first time in what had felt like months he had slept until almost midday only
to wake and to crash onto the couch with his fiancée in a blur of movies and lazy kisses.
And it had not been until mid-afternoon that his stomach finally decided it was ready for
lunch. With starved blue eyes the young man searched high and low through the pantry,
the fridge and even the freezer but there was scarcely anything to eat, let alone to satisfy
him. So with a hasty incentive to rush down to the takeaway pizza shop, Izaak shrugged
into more appropriate clothing and with a swift kiss for his lover, he was out the door with
the thought of food as a heavy motivator of his mind.

The day, he noticed as the sun’s golden rays washed over him, was actually pleasantly
warm even if it was quickly nearing evening. Perhaps it would have been wiser of Izaak
to spend it outside but really, nothing could ever beat staying in with Alexis. However the
pleasant thoughts of his lover had soon run bare from his mind as he heard a bone
chilling crack and snapped his head around just in time to see a young girl fall helplessly
to the harsh pavement. How on earth she had done it, Izaak did not know but that didn’t
cause him to hesitate as he rushed across the road to her aid. As a lifeguard, the young
man was thoroughly educated on his first aid and trained for just about any situation the
unpredictability of a crowded beach could throw at him. But as his stunning blue eyes
searched her expression frantically, he found himself touching a tentative hand to the
pocket that encased his wand, wanting to rid her of the pain as quickly and efficiently as
possible. “Ahh, that’s gotta hurt,” He commented both humorously and comfortingly as
his azure gaze swept over the fair-haired girl for the briefest of moments before returning
faithfully to her broken ankle. Knowing that he first needed to see if any other bones
were fractured, Izaak pressed his thumb at intervals down her leg stopping just shy of
her ankle as he continued to speak soothingly to the young girl. “That isn’t sore there, is
it? You know most girls are bawling their eyes out around about now.”
He grinned,
purely seeking to comfort the girl before him as he contemplated whether or not magic
was even applicable. He had thought that after having not had it on his person for two
years it would come to his defensive aid if something like what had happened with his
father occurred again but clearly it had other uses.

Jessica noticed a cute boy maybe around nineteen rush to her aid, as others just walked around her, a few staring curiously. She winced when his gentle hands touched her just above her ankle. 'Just above my ankle.' She said through gritted teeth, in response to his question if it hurt anywhere else. 'And that's probably because I'm not like other girls.' She added, not being able to hide a tiny smile. If the boy was trying to make her relax it was working. It was true though, Jessica was definitely not like other girls, since her father had been in Azkaban ever since she had been a first year at Hogwarts, people had teased her about it and she had to learn to not let it bother her. She hadn't cried for years because of people teased her, and it was almost funny how a broken ankle made her want to bawl like a baby, but she wanted to impress the dark haired boy so she kept quiet.

Her chocolate brown eyes, for once showing kindness and gratitude in her eyes, moved up from his hand to meet his stunning blue eyes. 'Thank you for doing this.' She whispered, knowing that most boys wouldn't. She had been right as most people had just walked by, while others were just standing around staring. Her eyes went back down passing his surprisingly stylish clothes, that were obviously just casual and went back to his hands, a faint blush on her cheeks, hoping that she didn't just get caught checking him out. How embarrassing it would be if she had. He probably wouldn't have even paid attention to her if she hadn't hurt herself. She couldn't comprehend why she was acting like this, now of all times. She hadn't acted like a girly girl before, having a crush on any other guy. Maybe it was because he was older and that he had tanned skin? She wasn't sure.
