Troxa Matthias found himself full of guilt. It was overwhelming, but finally Troxa knew why. He had been the biggest ass in the school, bullying the only friend that he could have trusted because of the house she was in, and because she was a girl. That should not have been the reason why. He stopped his friends this year, but it did not cover up the past two years of constant bullying, making her cry, etc.. There was just so much a guy could do before he just said, enough was enough. Troxa had this letter that Tristane had wrote to him, that spoke some words to him. First of all, Troxa needed to get his head out of his rear, and he needed to apologize to her. Troxa knew that it would take much more than just that, and he had planned something. One thing he remembered, was Auden Lefevre's birthday. He planned this entire thing, and he included a perfect ice cream cake, made by the elves but he had also made the letters and the decor, in yellow and orange. There was a small table with a matching table cloth. Troxa just wanted to do this for her, and he had white orchids in a bouquet waiting too. He just needed to have his friend back, the one person that he knew that he could connect with. This was one of the best moments he could ever have. This was the first time that he had done anything for her too. Troxa also had Tristane by a small charm and chain. The charm was an owl charm to go onto the white gold chain. Tristane had bought it, because it was beautiful, but would Auden even like it? He hoped so, because even he liked it. The jewels on owl's eyes were gold. It would be a cute bracelet. Troxa liked it, but it was far too girly for him to wear of course. Troxa simply prayed that there would be the girl to surprise instead of him standing here like an idiot. He probably looked like one too.

There were flowers everywhere and Troxa thought of roses because instead of just wanting his friend back, he had this huge crush on Auden. The devil liked the angel. She was an angel to him. She was so bright, like the sun, and there he was, hiding some dark secrets and hiding behind this broken family. However his family did not know anything about the Lefevres, and how dark and sinister they could be. Troxa had one tyrant that was always hospitalized, and could never get married because he had beating tendencies. Troxa felt so bad for him because Sethos would never be happy, and he had his own punching bag which was Levent, whom could never even attend school around people without freaking out. He was always locked into the bedroom, in the darkness. Troxa shook his mind from the thoughts, and he simply looked over at his hands. They were just bloody because he tried to get roses for Auden to gather, and he failed at that. The thorns sliced his palms into twizzlers. It was just awful. Troxa thought that he was going to faint. Not just from nervousness from meeting Auden, but also from the blood. He had to hide his hands from his amber eyes so he would not have to look at it. He thought that he was going to be very, very sick. Troxa had left little notes, unsigned, around for Auden, sometimes slipping them to her without her noticing, giving her compliments. He also requested for her to meet with someone here. It was a birthday surprise party with one gift that was worth so much, and then there was that ice cream cake and a bouquet of orchids. He had a lot of ass kissing to do, and he knew it, in order to gain her trust again. Troxa let out a sigh, and he picked up the bouquet of flowers and he closed his eyes. He started to mumble that he was not going to faint, that he was not going to faint. He was just thirteen, and it seemed like he was wanting to have babies with her or something. This shouldn't be a big deal, but it was!

Auden Lefevre exited the castle with a stack of notes in hand. Lately she had been receiving note after note from some anonymous person. They were very cute notes and all but at the same time Auden found herself having a hard time taking them seriously. Especially not when she found herself constantly becoming the victim of bullying here at Hogwarts. There existed a group of Slytherin boys who did nothing but harass and bully her whenever they got the chance to. The saddest part about all of it was that she had once believed one of them to be a close friend to her. Troxa Matthias. A Slytherin boy that Auden had befriended before school had started and they were sorted into their current houses. Not too much longer after she was placed into Hufflepuff and he in Slytherin, he started to change. He convinced her that they were friends, but she couldn't tell people about it. Then once he was around his Slytherin friends, he pretended as if she were nothing but scum. They did things like pull her hair, put things in her food, steal her homework, and those were just some of the smaller incidents. Auden remembered one day they tore a hole in her uniform. All of her classmates could see things they should't be able to see. It got so bad that Auden even considered leaving Hogwarts to go to some other school. That way she could at least enjoy school like she used to. It had been awhile since Auden ever spoke to Troxa either. Eventually she cut ties with him period. No longer would she even pretend that she was his friend. He was an awful person. 'What's sad was that he was actually kind of cute too.' It was too bad that is personality stunk. They could have been good friends. Auden didn't understand what made them think they were able to hate on her like that. Especially since it wasn't like she was a mudblood or anything. Just that she was in Hufflepuff. There should be nothing wrong with that! Hufflepuff was a fine house! Everyone worked so hard and was more than willing to lend a helping hand. How was that so bad? Auden kind of thought they were just being stupid. After all, Auden didn't hate all Slytherin's just because they were supposedly mean and stuff like that.

Auden walked into the garden and immediately froze. Her blue eyes quickly spotted a delicious looking cake, some flowers, and what looked to be a small celebration. They were all in her favorite colors. Her favorites flowers were roses but she liked orchids a bit too. What was all of this? Then Auden noticed a bloody Troxa. Standing there looking like he was about to vomit. Was this his doing? "I should have known." Auden's tone suddenly turned deadly. It would be easy for him to pick up the fact that she was unhappy. He must have been the one that sent her these little notes too. Auden lifted them up so he could see before she dropped them onto the ground. They meant nothing to her now, just as they probably meant nothing to him. His friends probably convinced him to write them and have her think she had some secret admirer. Then he would invite her here and crush her hopes. Well it was a good thing Auden was already steps ahead of him then. Tears started to well in her eyes. She was hurt. Why couldn't they just leave her be? What did Auden do to deserve the treatment she was given by Troxa and his ******* friends. "What were you planning on doing to me this time? Throw cake at me? Send a swarm of bee's after me? Whatever it is...you should just save it. My day is already ruined." Auden hated that she was pretty much beginning to cry in front of her bully. But she couldn't help it. Feelings were fragile things and they had messed with her too much. Auden wiped her eyes. She felt so stupid. It wasn't fair the way they treated her. But why did it matter. "I'm asking my dad to transfer me to Beauxbatons. I've had enough of this." Auden was so freaking tired of it all. Her father had thought about originally sending her to Beauxbatons. Now Auden was starting to wish she had listening to him. Auden wiped her eyes again and turned to leave. She hoped Troxa was proud. Because he had won. He and his friends showed her a thing or two. Auden was certainly having an awesome birthday so far. Actually she hardly felt like this was a birthday at all. Because today just stunk.

Troxa still felt horrible over what he had done to Auden, and though the bullying had basically ended, it was still painful for even him to think about. He liked her, and he knew that he had done wrong. The third year hated himself for it. He could not believe he had done something like that to poor Auden, beautiful Auden. It would have been a miracle if she forgave him, but he felt like he did not even deserve it. Because he didn't. Not to him anyway. He looked down at the flowers, before he thought about giving up, transferring out, and perhaps giving Auden the relief that she deserved. But would it do anything good? His friends would have no Troxa to stop them from bullying Auden, again. Although for a lot of the pranks and stuff, he had no part of but laughed when he had heard about it. Of course he was guilty over it. Was there anything that he could do to make it better for the Hufflepuff girl? He looked up with his amber eyes to see the girl coming over toward him, and he forced a smile. He looked sad, and it was genuine. He never expressed this emotion toward her. She was probably used to harsh, cruel, never anything like this. Troxa still thought that he was going to faint, because of the blood that soaked his hand from the thorns of the roses. He saw Auden, and he just did not know how she would react over this all. The first words came burst from her mouth actually made him take a step back out of fear. However he managed to regain his posture, before he let out a sigh, "Look around, I'm alone, aren't I?" His friends would have hated him being out here, with flowers in his bloody hand, and looking like he was about to faint. Oh yes, and with a Hufflepuff too, but he had abandoned them this year, this semester actually. He just didn't want to be around them anymore. They got on his nerves a lot too. They were not as entertaining to be around anymore. He saw the tears swell in her eyes, and Troxa felt extremely bad. He used to not have any issue with seeing her cry, but he did now. Troxa had a lot of pent up emotions that it was all about to come out, and there was no room for more either. One of his greatest fears came alive when he looked at Auden.

'I am just like Sethos,' thought Troxa in his mind, horrified at what he had done and become. He was a monster. That could actually make him cry, but he fought it because he didn't want to show even that. That would be sad. She even dropped the notes that he had wrote to her, and his amber eyes averted. "I know I have a lot to answer for." He shook his head before he finally started to talk, "Just give you a small birthday party? I don't waste cake, and I am terrified of bees. I'd probably scream in a higher pitch then you if I saw one." And he could not believe that he had told her that bit of information. Troxa reached back and he took the gift that he had in his other hand, that was not bloody, so that she could at least take it, but he doubted that she would. If there was something he could do in order to convince her otherwise, he would be glad to. The she said that she was going to transfer to Beauxbatons, and his bloody hand that was hurting a lot dropped the flowers that he was holding. Troxa watched her turn to leave, and immediately his brain said to stop her, and he went to do that. He reached out to touch her shoulder, before he said, "Wait, please!" Troxa didn't want to touch her shoulder for long because his hand was still bleeding, and when he did, it hurt really bad, making him look. As soon as his amber eyes rested on blood, his eyes widened and he turned as green as the Slytherin he was. "Oh my God." He could not hold his consciousness anymore, and the world felt like it was spinning. Troxa had a strong weakness to blood, and he fell on his back, fainted. It was perfectly real too, and it was obvious what made him faint because he was looking at his hand before then. When he fell, the box that had the present had broke, and the bracelet within had fallen out. Troxa would probably need a good smack in the face, or something cold in order to wake him up, but with knowing blood was out there, he could be out for several minutes without assistance.

Auden did what he said and looked around. It was true that she did indeed see no one around but him, but that didn’t mean she was suddenly going to relax and trust him. They’ve pulled some pretty nasty tricks on her before. Mostly because then she was too stupid to realize that they never meant a thing they’ve said before. ”Alone right now, perhaps. But who’s to say your stupid friends won’t show up later? It wouldn’t be the first time you guys have pulled that stunt.” Auden replied. Even if his voice made him sound like he was sincere enough, she still had the right to be nervous. He and his friends were pretty good at coming up with ways to destroy her life when she least expected it. In fact she was waiting for them to try and do something today too. It was her birthday. Auden ignored the notes that she had now dropped onto the floor and continued to stare at Troxa with anger burning within her blue orbs. Auden once considered this boy to be her friend. He had a lot of nerve betraying her trust like he did in the first place. Now he expected her to forgive him that easily? He must have been mental. It made Auden feel like hurling the biggest rock she could find at his head. But that would be mean. Bully or not, Auden didn’t have the heart to do that to him. That would be sinking down to his level. Auden bit her lip and averted her gaze. ”You have nothing to answer for. Face the facts; you’re nothing but a heartless bully.” Auden proclaimed. There wasn’t anything hard about this either. Auden had been wanting to say this to him for years now, His friends deserved to hear this just as much as he did, but it wasn’t like they were around. So she was going to take her anger out on Troxa. He deserved to hear it first anyways. Especially since he was once her friend. Or rather, he pretended to be her friend. Auden didn’t trust him on the birthday party thing. Not even the slightest bit. Why would someone who ruined her life for the past couple of years, suddenly decide to throw her a birthday party? In most cases one wouldn’t. Auden rolled her eyes at the next thing he told her. Auden didn’t care if he didn’t want to waste cake. There was no way she was eating that thing.

”I don’t want a birthday party. Especially not one from you.” Auden never really had an actual birthday party before. Her father was never really into throwing parties after her mother died. So Auden hadn’t had a birthday party since she was very young. Auden didn’t want the first party she had in years to be the works of someone she really disliked. Auden was about to tell Troxa to get lost or something, but then she heard a semi-loud thud. Auden turned herself back around and her mouth fell open. Did he honestly just faint? Auden was indeed quite angry with him over everything that has happened, but the last thing she would do was leave the poor boy on the ground. Auden hurried over to him and crouch down so that she was hovering above. Her glittering blue eyes were fix carefully upon his face. Auden had no idea what made him faint like that. But she knew it couldn’t have been her. There was no way he could have felt that bad about what he had done to her. ”Hey….” Auden shook him. Trying to get him to awaken so she could at least make sure he wasn’t dead or something. ”Are you okay?” Auden tried again. This time she took a little bit of water, by using a spell, and splashed some upon his face. She could see that there was blood upon his fingers. Why was there blood all over his fingers? Auden used her wand to clean his fingers too so there was no blood. But before she could put some bandages over them, she needed to make sure he was awake. Auden tried her best to try and awaken him again. Why on earth was she helping him after all that he had done to her? Oh that’s right, because she was a nice person.

It took a bit for Troxa to come to, but he did, and he opened his amber eyes to see stars and felt moisture on his face. Was he crying? He couldn't tell. Those words though, echoed in his head and he felt like he could faint, yet again. He knew he had a lot to answer to, but he needed to start somewhere. He groaned a little bit before he muttered, "I fainted, huh." He felt pretty bad that he fainted, but he hoped that she didn't see why. He might have to explain it. He slowly sat up and noticed that the thing that he got for her was laying next to his hand. He picked it up and noticed that there wasn't any blood. She cleaned him up too? That was really nice of her. If she knew what was going on, then she might not have stuck around, and thought that he was lame. Troxa managed to grab it as he slowly sat up so that he could have a good look around. At least the bracelet was not in the box and he held it out to her. He gave her a small smile, before he hoped that she took it. Well, he could always do something else. He took her hand and placed the bracelet. He looked all around the ground and he looked down with his amber eyes. He shook his head and he muttered, "Okay, I have this older brother that set me straight by using my deepest fear. So, I really, really don't want to end up in a mental institution because of my actions. That's a road I was going down, and want to avoid it. There. You know my secret." Troxa didn't expect her to believe it. But he was hoping that she might. Troxa knew that he would have to do a lot to gain her trust. So far, his friends were no where near him, and he wanted to know why she helped him to begin with. Was it because she was that nice of a person? Her heart was no large, he didn't know what to think. He didn't deserve this. She deserved so much more than he did. She was a nice person, he was not that nice. He could be if he wanted to, but he knew that even if he tried, it would be in vain.

He had blown it and he knew about it. That really blew. He sighed and he asked, "Why did you even want to bother with waking me up when I fainted? Why is it that you are so nice to someone like me? I don't deserve it. I deserved getting kicked when I was down." He looked at his hand again and even his wounds were gone. She must have really done some magic or something. She was this amazing girl, and he didn't deserve her. He had messed up years ago and now he was paying the ultimate price. She might be wondering what had caused him to faint to begin with. The reason why he had always been conveniently absent during any prank that would have brought blood. Troxa fainted at the smallest amount of blood and he just hated ever seeing blood, period. There was nothing that could change that fact either. Troxa let out a sigh and he said, "Um, I hate blood. I picked roses and didn't wear gloves, so I bled. And I tend to faint when I see it. It's something I hate about myself, as well as a lot of things." Troxa was telling her everything and he didn't even mean to at all. He was just spilling everything to her, and he knew that she wouldn't tell anyone, but it was still as embarrassing as it came. There was a lot about him, since he was tired. Troxa gestured over to the flowers that he had picked and he shrugged a bit more. Maybe she would understand, but he wasn't counting on it. He remained sitting though, since he felt so rotten, he didn't even deserve to stand up right now. At least while he was seated, he was vulnerable. He couldn't do anything sitting anyway.

Auden nodded when Troxa asked if he had fainted. She figured that he was going to ask her not to tell his friends about this. It wasn't very common for a Slytherin male to faint in front of someone he dedicated his life to making fun of. However, the last thing she was expecting from him was for him to hand her something. Auden already had a hard time trusting him, so one could already imagine how cautious she was about taking the object. What if it was cursed or something? Auden shook her head no to taking the object, but it seemed like Troxa wasn't going to take no for an answer. He took her hand and placed the item within. Auden nearly dropped it out of shock. But instead she peered within closely. It was a really pretty bracelet. Was he really going to give this to her? Why would he give this to her? "Why are you giving this to me?" Auden had no idea. Especially when he used to do nothing but make fun of her. After a moment Auden sighed and looked down at the bracelet. Troxa began to tell her a story of sorts and all she could do was star eat him oddly. She wasn't quite sure what he was trying to tell her, but she might as well set him straight here and now. "You won't end up in a metal institution by bullying someone. You just won't...have many friends is all." Auden explained. But she did it in the nicest way she could. Hopefully that would soothe his worries. At least his brother had a good head on him though. It was weird for her to believe that Troxa had a brother whom was so pure and kind. Why couldn't Troxa have been like that? Auden glanced down at the bracelet again. Then again, maybe he was. Perhaps he just didn't know how to be kind?

"Because unlike you, I'm not a jerk? I don't see the point in making others miserable. I'm a pureblood, but that doesn't make me any better than anyone else in this school. That's why I'm helping you." Auden snorted softly. "Jerk or not, I don't think you deserve bad treatment." Auden checked his hands to make sure there wasn't anymore blood on them before she sighed and stood back, so she was no longer right next to Troxa. At least he seemed to realize that she wasn't very fond of him. That made it easier for her to talk to him. But was he going to let her be after this or was he going to get back to teasing her all the time? Auden hoped he would just leave her alone now that he knew how much it stunk to be made fun of. Or how bad it made him look. His friends wouldn't realize it until it was too late probably. "You picked roses without gloves? Tch, boys. Anyways, it's fine. I won't tell anyone you fainted if that's what you want." Auden told him, figuring that he wouldn't want her to go and tell on him. But since he was likely doing all of this for her, it would probably be even worse. Auden didn't understand why he was picking flowers for her or even what he was really doing here today if he wasn't here to torture her. She wasn't sure if she completely trusted him just yet. Especially not since this sort of thing had happened. Not with him, but with what his friends had done. Surely he remembered the tarantula in the box deal? Auden would likely never forget.

Troxa looked down, hiding his sheepish smile, when she asked why he was giving it to her. He looked back at her and he bit his lip, but hesitated on saying anything. He needed to think before he said anything, since he was spilling his life story to her without even trying. Troxa finally decided to say, "It is a birthday present. My brother picked it out. I didn't know what to shop for, and nothing around here has anything nearly as pretty." Troxa shrugged and made it sound like it was no big deal, but inwardly, it definitely was. He just hoped that she would take it, and she would wear it. He was just so glad that she healed his hand too. He did not know what it was about blood, but it just made him faint. He could never, ever be a healer. However he did not expect her to understand about the whole deal with his brother. He decided to explain it better, "Well, no, but by what it does. It made me so angry, and it only gets worse. My brother Sethos went through that, and well, he hurts everyone that he comes across. I don't want that to happen to me. He even hits girls. I don't want to turn out like that." Troxa looked at the ground and he decided that now was the time that he was going to stand up. Troxa dusted himself off and he looked down at Auden with his amber eyes. He wasn't really a jerk, he was just acting like it. Well, he could be if he wanted to be, but he didn't want to be. He sighed and he muttered, "I can be a nice guy. I just want one more chance. That's all I ask. You seem to be more like a real friend than the other jerks. You wouldn't trick me into taking boring classes..." At least she was being nice once more. She should have been beating him up for everything else he had done to her, yet she was being so nice, so kind.

He shrugged, but he was a boy, which meant that he was not very bright when it came to flowers. How was he supposed to know that every rose had thorns and they could stab and prick someone? He really did not know that. He shrugged again and this time, he said something, "You can tell people if you want. Therefore I might get teased. You know, an eye for an eye. But that's kind of a Slytherin's thing I guess." Troxa might have been sarcastic a lot when it came to others, but he didn't want to be teased over something like this. Even if it would make him feel the way that he made Auden feel a while back. Troxa decided that now was the best time to leave Auden alone. He wanted to do something first. He stepped forward and gave her a friendly hug before murmured, "I really hope that you don't go to Beauxbatons. And I hope you do have a good birthday." He stepped back from Auden, before he smiled faintly, and he decided that leaving her alone to think would be the best option. Nothing he and his friends would be forgotten, but perhaps over time, it can be forgiven.
