After finishing his homework for the day, Cyrus decided a walk was what he needed. It was winter, so he had bundled up a bit as he headed outside. Fresh air was nice, and Cyrus made his way to the gardens. He liked them a lot, though they were prettier in the spring and summer months. Still, there was something beautiful about the quiet garden in the winter. As he walked past the plants, he got inspired to write a little. He grabbed his pocket notebook out of his coat and sat down on a bench to jot down a few things. Just sentences that popped into his mind, he'd turn it into something cohesive later.
