Scarlet Naomi Joussane had once again found herself in the middle of a group. She had most certainly didn't want to be in such a situation yet there she was again in the midst of a trouble that she had been entering almost everyday. Bullies everywhere. The young witch did not even know how she had gotten into said predicament. All she remembered was that she had entered a muggle school at her brothers' request and she did. At first all the kids were kind and helpful, only a few did not welcome her, but all of a sudden, it was like one against the whole world for a young one like her. Today, their muggle school had a field trip at an amusement park. The whole class had been divided into groups of five and the teacher had told them to keep an eye out for each other. Scarlet had been grouped with two boys and two girls, and they were all in the same group of friends. The worst bullies in her class. And as expected, after a few minutes of wandering around the amusement park, her classmates ran away, leaving her in the midst of a crowd, unsure of what to do.

Scarlet did the only thing she thought of. She searched for a teacher, thankfully though, she had found one, but the little witch was already on the brink of tears for she had not been searching for mere minutes nor just within a five meter radius. She had tried to search the whole place and it had taken her an hour or perhaps more with her small figure. She was hungry and tired. The teacher had offered her food and company as she searched for her group and she gleefully accepted. Of course, it didn't take long for them to find her group and the four members were scolded as expected. Scar didn't smile though, for the glares she was receiving had told the whole story of what would happen next.

They had not left her, but she was treated like an outsider as her classmates bought food and drinks, climbed in the rides and many more. She thought that they had forgotten the scolding, but sadly she was wrong as she didn't notice that they had arrived at a playground in the amusement park for children, but was vacant due to it being a school day. They had her surrounded and they kept on speaking. "Happy to get us in trouble, are you?" "Can't you handle yourself?" "Big baby should stay here in the playground," were some of the words they were uttering until they pushed her to the ground. Scarlet had only gotten a scratch on her knee and she was sure that it could be easily fixed. She just kept her head bowed and tried to paid no attention to the crowd around her. She wished her parents were there to help her. But they weren't. Because she didn't want her older brothers to worry, she had been keeping things to herself. And she rarely spoke. But it was hard, especially with everything they were saying. "Are you going to tell your brothers, freak?" "I think not. Because her brothers are never there!" the young girl could here them laughing at her and she was nearly shedding tears. She had decided to shut herself in once again just for a while and the last thing she fully heard before every noise was just a background of her happy memories was "Should we call your Mommy and Daddy, Scarlet?"

Armin Nightray had many different kinds of acts: cute acts, innocent acts, clueless acts, anything that would evoke an 'aww' from the other party. Lately, he had began acquiring a mature act and a cool act, though he was particularly expect in doing a rude act. He would always put on those acts for his own selfish gain, using them to bail himself out of trouble whenever he wanted to. The ten years old had never really troubled himself with what others think, preferring to do and say things that others would find questionable. He had never been the type to follow the rules, really obeying them for his own convenience. This carefree nature of his has a tendency to get him and his twin into trouble, which was actually a wasted cause since the ten year old rarely cares. And that was the reason why when their aunt, who prefers to be called Madame Red, was too busy buying new dresses, he, along with his twin brother, had sneaked out to tour around the place.

It was their first time in this foreign country, however, that didn't stop him from fooling around and dragging his twin brother wherever he wanted to. The place was actually quite nice, except for the fact that it was populated by muggles, something that he was quite sure his twin brother didn't appreciate. He wasn't particularly fond of those mudbloods, but if he had a choice, he didn't want to be anywhere near them. He didn't particularly hate them though, finding their stupidity and naivety something which he could take advantage of.

In a matter of hours, he found himself somewhere near what he assumed to be an amusement park. A pathetic way for those small muggles to enjoy their day. He pitied them. They had to use these silly contraptions to entertain themselves. Deciding that he had enough of this pitiful and lowly country, he was about to drag his twin back to their aunt when a group of kids bumped into him. Not much can make the ten year old Nightray angry, however, the fact that these kids didn't even turn around to apologize and the fact that these were mere mudbloods irritated him. Without a word, he followed his target. He need not turn around to see whether his twin was following him because he was sure he was. They were always together after all.

He found them soon enough, surrounding what appeared to be another girl. She looked..weak. Someone who can easily be manipulated to control one's bidding. However, he wasn't particularly a manipulative person, he deceives other people, yes, but manipulating people was his brother's specialty.

Armin cleared his throat to get the others' attention. One of the kids turned to look at him. He looked funny, with a smug look on his face as if he owned the world. Armin despised this kind of people. "Forgive me if I'm wrong, but is it not in your culture to apologize once you did someone wrong?" Clueless and civil act. He wasn't going to jump in their throats just yet, even though inside, he was burning in irritation. One of the kids, a girl he assumes for she was wearing a dress despite her looking nothing like a girl, laughed loudly in such a way that his aunt would surely criticize and uttered something in that nasal accent of theirs. "Girly foreign kid, what should we do with him? Can't even understand us I'm sure." They were speaking in another language and he was sure that these kids thought that he could not understand them. It was his first time in the country, yes, but with his aunt's strange fascination with it and with the thousand of books in their library, he had learned to understand the language. He let them speak as they want though, let them believe that their insults were not understood.

"Are they your savior? Such heroes they are, they looked more like a girl than a boy. Scrawny and small, I can break their bones into two if I want to" One of the larger kids said to the girl that they were surrounding. Armin could almost hear his veins pop in irritation. Never in his life had been insulted like this, never in his life had he been called a girl, though honestly, being called a girl was not much of an insult.

Deciding that he had had enough, Armin picked a stone nearby and inspected it, measuring its weight and its size. "Are you done insulting us?" He said in that nasal accent of theirs too. The kids were surprised when he had spoken in the same language as theirs, not really expecting it at all. He then showed the same stone to his twin."Riv, what do you think? Would this be big enough to knock them unconscious? What does the law state? I'm pretty sure there was a clause which we can use to evade whatever crime we'll be committing here." He wasn't entirely sure of that, however, he knew that these stupid kids know it not either.

There was always something odd about Rivaille Nightray, unlike his twin who had acclimated well to being surrounded by other people, he preferred to be on his own, and by on his own, it meant having no one else but his brother with him. He had never been one to trust people that easily, a trait that he shared with his twin although the latter seemed to be an expert in hiding his real intentions. They were polar opposites. The older being able to talk freely while he struggles to come up with a sentence. Even as a young kid, people feared the way that he would look at them; they feared his way of speaking, finding his monotonous voice dangerously charming yet the shudders they received at the end of each pronounced word made them feel uncomfortable. People had commented on how his physical appearance betrayed him for behind the innocent face, the boy was rotten inside. Being blessed good looks and seemingly humble mannerisms, people often commit the mistake of trying to get his attention only to find later that they should not have bothered him.

Little Rivaille was in the middle of staring at a blank piece of parchment when his brother dragged him into the corner of the shop to whisper something on his ears. Like his brother, he was not one to bother with the rules, but unlike the older, he wasn't one that would carelessly break them either. He didn't really care about anything, as long as it wouldn't get on his way, it was fine. Besides, being in a room surrounded by frilly dresses was making him nauseous. Thus, without any hesitation, he let himself be dragged by his brother wherever he wanted to.

The country was nothing like the images shown in the books that their aunt would often read, the descriptions overestimating the place. What he disliked the most was how the place was populated by muggles. Being a pure blood wizard, he had been raised to despise muggles. They were not worthy of being in their presence. Though their aunt didn't really hate these folks as much as their other relatives, this view didn't rub on him.

He was about to tell his brother to go back when a group of lowly muggles ran into them and eventually knock his brother off guard. There were only a few things that could piss his brother off, and these kids had to be stupid enough to do one of those things. Without a word, he followed his brother. He knew what would happen. He knew his brother more than anyone else, perhaps, he knew him even more than himself. Armin Nightray may appear cheerful and innocent, but it was all an act. Like Rivaille, he was rotten inside. Most of the people they interacted with feared him, however, those who had faced an angry Armin knew that he was scarier than his little brother.

As they arrive on what looked like a playground, he saw the same kids from earlier surrounding another girl. She looked helpless, like a doll so fragile it would break from a single touch. He just stared at them, wearing a blank look on his face. His peers feared this never-changing expression of his as they could not read what he was thinking. He just stood there, unmoving, as he watched his brother deal with the stupid muggles. Though to others it might appear that they were just letting themselves be embarrassed and insulted, Rivaille knew beter. Armin was playing with these kids as he always does. Rivaille didn't really like his brother's way of dealing with things, he preferred to just doing things in a straight forward manner to get it over with. He mentally counted the minutes before his brother finally snap and decide to make his move. Just in time.

He just looked at the stone of the older's hand and gave a simple nod. He need not say anything for him to be understood. Armin will understand him, he knew that. Rivaille was not fond of talking after all. Not many words would come out of his mouth, and when they do, they aren't too kind nor are they something someone wants to hear when hearing him speak full sentences for the first time. His voice can only be heard mostly by Armin. Speaking with others wasn't something he liked; claiming he need not answer anyone but Armin himself.

Scarlet wished she knew how to use magic now. Or maybe even have her own wand by now. But sadly, she was too young to have her own, and was even scared to ask Justin for such an item when he had already been working so hard to provide for the four of them. Crische already thought of her as too much of a bother since she started attending muggle school which was completely unnecessary but Justin and Brody had pushed her into doing so. And here she was, another day with the bullies and putting up with their selfish and hurtful acts. But then their words were even more painful and the reason why, right now, she so badly wanted to have a wand, and use magic to silence her classmates. but she knew that despite having a wand, she would not have the heart to use magic on muggles.

The bullies kept on speaking, Scarlet barely keeping up with their words as she was already hurt inside, she clenched her fists on the ground, her tears threatening to spill, but she held them back. These people had already seen more than enough of her cries and she didn't want them to see any more. She just hoped her magic wouldn't be affected by her emotions, after all, she was nearly at the age wherein she'd be allowed to attend a magic school. Her mind was nearly away from her four classmates, that is until they had spoken about a savior. Scarlet turned her head to look, her hair, covering most of her face as she caught sight of two boys, almost the same age as they were. What were they doing?! Do they want to get in trouble?! Scar's mind shouted as she looked at the boys worriedly. It was true that her classmate could easily beat up the boys and she was sure that they were not locals either for it seemed that they knew nothing about what the four bullies were saying.

Yet, it seemed that she was mistaken for one of the boys had spoken fluently in French. It seemed that they were more knowledgeable than she initially thought, but her eyes widened as the boy grabbed a rock and handed it to the other, seemingly his twin, and uttered something about law and crime. But, she understood. Justin had already taught her quite a few of what might be of use and she was sure that it would be of use now for whatever these boys might be planning. "You could always say it was for self-defense," Scarlet said in perfect English, yet her French accent still evident in her voice. She may be bullied but that didn't mean she was ignorant or clueless about certain things. And she was sure, that right now, her classmates would be struggling to understand what she had said, and they would eventually give up.

<COLOR color="darkgreen">Armin balanced the stone in his hand, as making sure that it was big and heavy enough to do any damage. One of the bigger kids stuck out his tongue and placed his hands on either side of his head, dancing this weird little dance. He looked silly. The girl, or boy in the dress, or whatever it was, also joined that stupid little dance of the obese kid. They were trying to mock him, emphasize on trying. If they thought that these childish antics of theirs would be enough to taunt him, they were doing. In fact, it only makes them more stupid than they already are. Another boy, whose face was sprayed with freckles and whose front teeth looked like they wanted to jump out of his mouth, stepped to close the space between them. He was significantly taller than Armin, and significantly bigger and heavier as well. The boy crossed his arms in front of him and ungraciously spat on the ground between the twins' shoe. "So you think you're all high and mighty because you can understand us?" He began, his front teeth distracting Armin. The older twin had this urge of wanting to pull out those teeth out of the stupid boy's mouth, perhaps, by doing so, he would stop speaking. Armin just smirked, still holding the stone. The freckled boy was only a few inches away from him, he was a head taller, but Armin didn't back down. He didn't mind being in close proximity with anyone, but he knew that it wasn't the case with his twin.

"You see dzees? Big! 'Ospital!" The boy struggled to say in English, gesturing to his arms and cracking his knuckles, trying to intimidate him further. Armin didn't even try to stop himself from laughing. This boy was really stupid. His laugh, however, had only irritated the wannabe bullies. "What are you laughing at, shrimp?" The boy said before turning his attention to the other twin. "You! Are you deaf? Mute? Cat got your tongue?" The boy continued. This got Armin's attention. No one. No one ever messed with his twin. To make things worse, the boy dared to push his younger twin. Rarely did Armin get angry, but when it comes to Rivaille, all hell will break loose.

"Don't touch him you filthy muggle!" He yelled, pushing the boy too. He was boiling in anger. He tightened his grasp on the stone. His eyes screamed bloody murder as he stepped between his twin and the boy. He could see no one else but the boy who dared to touch his twin. He pushed the boy again, the stone making contact with the boy's shoulder. The other three kids turned silent as they watched their friend. The biggest of them took a step forward as if preparing to land a punch on the boy, however, Armin shoot him a cold glare and the boy stopped on his tracks. The freckled boy backed away, still trying to act tough as he pointed a finger to the other girl who was neither part of their group nor the twins. "Are you protecting this freak so much? Join us and we'll forget everything that had happened here" The freckled boy said as he glared at the so called freak. Armin just smirked. These fleas were clueless. He didn't care about this girl. No. He cared for his twin.

He stopped, his smirk turning into a smile. However, unlike those smiles that can make people comfortable, this smile of his looked creepy. "Hey," he started, addressing the girl that was previously surrounded by these bullies without looking, "You said we can always say that it's self defense, right?" another step, his smile becoming wider, "I don't need that." Step. "We can always hide their bodies." With that, he quickly threw the stone right at the freckled boy, barely missing the boy's head by a few centimeters. It didn't hit, but it was enough to startle them. "I won't miss next time. Perhaps a bigger stone will do." Before he could pick a bigger stone, the kids began to ran away shouting profanities towards them.

Rivaille was already getting tired of all these childish antics. Just how much he wanted to return to their house and sleep. Spending his entire day reading would be much better than breathing the same air as these idiots too. His face remained impassive as he sighed. Maybe he should have rejected his twin earlier even if it meant having the older Nightray annoy the hell out of him the whole day and even if it meant having to listen to his brother's endless complaints. At least, Armin was still tolerable. He's like him for Merlin's sake, a wizard, a pureblood. They even shared the same face. These stupid fleas on the other hand, were another issue. They were wasting precious time and space just by living and breathing.

The ten year old rubbed his hands together to keep him warm, he was bored. His attention, however, was caught by the girl previously surrounded by the hideous looking kids. She could speak English, though her accent was still there. There was something odd her. Something was amiss. She didn't look like them. It wasn't the physical appearance though she looked pretty decent compared to the others. There was this air about her that he couldn't really fathom.

Before he could really work out what it was that had been bothering him, he heard his brother yell. He didn't know what had happened, but there he was, sitting on the ground with Armin standing between him and the freckled kid. Armin was angry, that much he knew. The other kids looked pretty freaked out too. That's when it caught up to him. This kid had dared touch him. This filthy worthless weakling had dared lay his dirty hands on him. He was angry but he knew that Armin was angrier than he was. Unlike him, after all, Armin was the one who's perfectly capable of conveying his emotions, whether it was positive or not. He, on the other hand, was struggling with it. And besides, once he let his negative emotions out, it would be pretty hard for him to return to his impassive and apathetic self.

Rivaille gave the kids a murderous glare, standing and dusting himself off. He looked messy, dirt clinging on his clothes. He just watched as his brother threatened the other kids. Armin was indeed perfectly capable to putting any act he wanted. He was playing the bully kid right now. As the kids ran away, he approached his twin too, tugging on the older's sleeves. With them standing close to each other, it would seem that one was seeing double. "That's on purpose," he said flatly, his voice a little lower than his twin. It sounded pretty hoarse too from a long time of not speaking. However, there was this softness to it too. He then looked at the only remaining girl in the group, staring for a while before he turned his attention to his twin again.

Scarlet was completely unsure of what was to happen. This was surely going to be trouble when school returns. She wished that she could enter magic school soon and she hoped that it would be better than the muggle school she was currently attending. Surely, wizards and witches wouldn't be much of physical bullies despite having magic? She hoped so. But she hoped that there would be no bullies at all, like these muggles. She watched as her classmates were getting more and more irritated by the two boys that had arrived. It would come to trouble, she was sure. Especially if the two boys had resorted to physical damage. The twins were comparably smaller than the boys with the bullies. Yet, it seemed that the twins were not at all affected by the threats her classmates were giving out. One seemed to be completely ignoring the whole situation while the other was laughing it off. This was just a different set of circumstance for the young witch.

Although, it seemed the laughing boy had become a person full of rage as soon as her classmate was about to go physical on his twin. Her eyes widened at the sudden turn of events and the sudden statement of the boy mentioning the word muggle. They're magical folk, she thought to herself as she watched the silent boy on the floor and the bullies suddenly asking a stupid question. "I don't even know them," she muttered silently as she knew that it was close to impossible that these two seemingly wizards were saving her from these bullies, but at the very least they were taking their attention off of her, which she was incredibly grateful for.

The young girl immediately looked up as soon as the angry twin had addressed her. Why did she even say that?! Was she a complete idiot from doing so? Maybe. Cause now, the situations were reversed. It was the angry wizard that had the upper hand against four muggle bullies. She just watched the exchange as the stone was thrown, barely missing her classmate, but she had seen the fear that quickly arose within the four muggles. And in a matter of moments, they were already on the run. Scarlet sighed. She was in for trouble as soon as she returns to school, but shaking the thought out of her head, she dusted her clothes and looked at the damage. A few scratches and grazes on her legs from being pushed to the coarse ground but nothing else was serious. Then, her attention was reverted to the twins.

Scarlet went near them cautiously. She wasn't sure if going near them was more dangerous than being with the bullies, but then again, she had to take her chances. They had saved her. Well, indirectly. But still, it was worth thanking them, and she still had to apologize for the trouble the group had caused. As soon as she got near them, but still maintaining a respectful distance she spoke in their language, English, her French accent remains and her voice a bit soft as she was mostly shy to speak, even more so that they weren't really needing their help. "I'm sorry for the trouble they caused," she said, not even sure of what to say next and actually forgetting to utter a thank you. She looked at the silent boy's appearance and took note of the dirt clinging to him. "If you want, we can head to my home nearby and a cleaning spell should fix your clothes," she offered, only above a whisper. She hoped these two were wizards. If not, she was in big trouble.

Armin Nightray was a master of acting, and in a matter of seconds, the murderous look and aura surrounding him earlier was replaced by a childish and pure one. He spun on his heel and turned to look at his twin, a mischievous smile appearing on his face. "Was it on purpose, really? You trust me too much Riv. It might be that my accuracy's not that good compared to yours," he said playfully in a sing-song, his eyes seemingly close from smiling. He then put his hands behind his head and whistled a small tune, "Besides, they're not worth it. Fleas like them should be ignored. Not worth my time at all," he added, this time a little too seriously, dropping his hands to the side before pulling on his twin's cheeks.

"You on the other hand, did nothing." He then faked a pout and crossed his arms in front of his chest. "Your brother is being insulted yet you're spacing out." He then stuck his tongue out and reached to mess with his brother's hair. He, however, knew that his brother wasn't that comfortable with any physical contact, thus, after he had his fill, he stepped a few steps backward so there's considerable distance between them. They had been together their entire lives so he believed that he knew already everything that is to know about the younger Nightray.

He was too focused with playing around with his twin that he had forgotten that there was still another person with them. Right. She wasn't one of the bullies. In fact, she was the one being bullied. How could he forget how fragile she appeared to look earlier? It was only when said person spoke that he remembered that they weren't alone. "Why are you saying sorry?" he addressed her, raising an eyebrow as he placed one hand on his hips. "Only idiots say sorry for the mistakes of others. Fleas like them are not worth any apology. They don't even deserve to live. what a waste of space." He continued before he walked towards the girl's direction, stopping when he was satisfied enough with their distance. To any bystander, it might look like he was too close for comfort, but young Armin didn't care. Making people uncomfortable, after all, was a past time of his.

"Unless you're one of them. Which I doubt. You look too small and harmless. You'd break easily." He then poke her on the shoulders and tug at her hair. "You're scared.... aren't you?" He stared at her without blinking, too close that if someone would play a prank and push him, their faces would meet, which he soon realize making him pull back and return to where his twin was. "What do you think Riv? It's better than hanging out with Madame Red, is it not? I don't want to see those stupid dresses again." He didn't wait for his twin's answer though, instead, he pulled the younger with his left hand and dragged him towards the girl before he too, had pulled the girl's wrist with his right. "So, which way, princess?" He added the last word not as a compliment but not quite as an insult either. Princesses are always saved, are they not? They're always those damsels in distress waiting for someone to take them away from those monsters. They're not princes, they're more like monsters in fact, but then again, those silly muggle fantasies about fairy tales don't exist either.

Rivaille was already used to his older twin's childish antics. Being with him almost 24/7, he had already grown accustomed to his brother's sudden change of personalities. He had also already figured out a long time again that his brother was in this life long mission of trying to make him crack a smile of get irritated for real. He was already used to it, and though he had already given his brother the satisfaction of getting his mission done a lot of times before, they were still going at it. Armin would try to annoy him or make him laugh, and he, on the other hand, would try to maintain as much self control as possible. After all, it's not that hard to get annoyed at the older Nightray. In fact, once Armin had decided on it, he can make a person run a whole town by just being near him. Yes, he was just that irritating.

But Rivaille's not one o get irritated easily. He maintained his poker face even if his brother was already messing with his hair. The younger part of the twin was quite a control and clean freak, not wanting anything to be out of order. Yet, here he was, covered with dirt and his hair looking like he had just gotten out of bed. Definitely not a good day. He gave his twin a barely noticeable glare and flicked him on the forehead. "Moron." He muttered flatly, trying to fix his hair, and again, dust his clothes off.

Rivaille just stood there, watching, as his brother talked to the girl. He was bored, and nothing comes out when the young Nightray is bored. This girl was not like those stupid filthy muggles, yet, he knew that she wasn't like them either. No. And it annoyed him that his brother couldn't see that. Or perhaps he did, Rivaille wasn't sure. What he was sure of, however, was that he didn't want to associate himself with this girl. Merlin, Armin shouldn't even talk to her.

He was about to finally decline and argue against his brother's decision when he found himself being dragged again. He didn't even want to get near her, how could he possibly survive being in the same room as her then? Besides, they don't even know each other's name. This girl probably know his already, which was unfair. Definitely unfair. Armin was practically shouting out his name this whole time, granted that it was just his pet name for him, but still, they knew nothing about this girl. He pulled away from his brother's grasp, took his brother's hand, and pulled him away from the girl, at the same time giving her the death stare. "Stay away." He said flatly, but instead of the blank mask he always wore, his eyes were showing anger. He wanted to get away, he didn't trust this girl.

Scarlet watched the exchange between the two boys, and truth be told, she envied them. The young witch had siblings of her own, four older brothers to be exact, yet, she sometimes wished that they were as closely-knitted as the twins in front of her now. Justin and her got along well, but then again, he was always away for work. Crische and her never got along as he much preferred to think of her as trouble and a useless person, so, he was frequently away somewhere or at Durmstrang. Brody was a bit different. They were close and she appreciated that, but he was also a Durmstrang student causing him to be away for spans of time, leaving Scarlet all alone at home or at school to be bullied, which she had been trying so hard to keep as a secret. The young witch sighed as she watched the two boys have their own childish and mischievous exchange.

Scarlet was not expecting a question after she had apologized, and so her mind and lips struggled to form a coherent sentence which was slowly leaving her brain. "U-uhhh. S-since we are a part of the same group of five in touring this park, the t-teacher might get mad since they caused trouble and did not bother to a-apologize," she managed to stutter out. It had been a while since she had spoken to someone who was not part of the faculty or her family, and so she was barely having the confidence to speak. She was quite surprised though as one of the twins, the playful one, started to make his way towards her, and she was slowly backing her steps. She soon stopped though as she knew that efforts were quite futile and so, she let him reach her.

Scarlet bit her lip. She was not a bully. She was far from being like those kids or even being one of them. She was an outcast of a muggle school. The young witch was quite surprised though as the boy started poking her and suddenly tugged her hair. Scarlet looked directly into the eyes of the boy, only averting her gaze once in a while out of sheer embarrassment or because of unknowing what to do. She was nervous yes, but she was not scared. How could she be scared of someone who had just saved her. Indirectly. She sighed in relief as the boy went back to his twin whom obviously hated her. It was as clear as day the he didn't like her, she couldn't blame him though. Her attention had reverted back to the playful twin as she yelped because of the sudden tugging of her arm, asking her which direction. "I-if we go straight ahead, we should be heading out the nearest exit of the park, then we take a right," she said just enough for the boy to hear. She glanced at the silent twin and she was quite nervous of how he looked like he was ready to kill her anytime. Young Scarlet cringed as the boy warned her to stay away from him and she nodded in understanding. This was going to be a long day. She hoped Brody wasn't home.

Armin just waved away his brother's statement. He was used to it. The younger Nightray, after all, was not really fond of socializing or associating with other people. He, on the other hand, was different. Pushing people outside of their comfort zones was a past time of his. He loved making people uncomfortable. Of the twins, he was the one who had acclimated well to being in the center of attention. Besides, it wasn't like he was socializing for the sake of making friends, no. He had learned a lot time ago that there are was only one person that he can trust, Rivaille. Only Rivaille. He couldn't even trust himself. With all the mask that he had been wearing, he wasn't even sure what's real anymore. But that he didn't mind. He was oung, he could do whatever he wanted to do.

"Would you rather spend the whole day watching madame red chose her dresses? It's all the same anyway. All red, it's making me feel sick," he told his twin as he removed the younger's hand. He then reached for the latter's head and messed with his hair. Afterwards, he turned his attention back to the girl. She looked quite nervous, which was to be expected. Rivaille's company wasn't that great after all, especially now that the boy was being particularly mean. Which was actually quite surprising. The younger twin was usually apathetic and uncaring after all. He wasn't the type to show his displeasure and annoyance.

The ten year old had to lean closer to the girl for him to properly hear her. "Alright, straight ahead to the nearest exit, then take a right." He repeated her statement, as if memorizing the directions. He the pulled the two again, walking towards what he deemed to be the right direction. He had already taken a few steps when he came to an abrupt halt, a sheepish smile appearing on his face. He let go of the two and spun around, facing them. "Where's the exit?"

Rivaille sighed, which was rare. Never did he let his emotions get the best of him. He had always maintained a blank and straight face no matter what the situation was. Yet, it seemed that his brother did know the right buttons to push to make the younger twin react. He was getting tired of it all. How much he wished to get back to his room and sleep, perhaps, by doing so, all this dizziness would go away. He wanted to go home and lock himself in the room that he shared with his brother. Being out for too long was already starting to take its toll on him. He head was beginning to ache. He looked at his clothes again, great, so much dirt. Just how much he wanted to take his clothes off. But then again, should he do so, it would only embarrass him. It's totally improper to walk around naked after all.

The ten year old decided not to answer his twin. There was no use arguing with him. It would only waste him time, and besides, he was already reaching his limit. How many words had he spoken today? He gave his brother a glare before he let himself be dragged again. He had given up. Once Armin had decided on something, no one could change his mind. However, that didn't mean that he wouldn't show his displeasure to his twin. He didn't want this, and he was going to show it.

He gave the girl another glare. He really didn't like her. Just being around her was making him feel irritated, which was only making him more annoyed. As much as he could, he tries not to feel anything about other people, yet, she was making him mad, and she's not even doing anything yet. It was absolutely irrational. He was usually mature and logical about things though, that's why he couldn't understand why he disliked this girl so much. Sure, he disliked a lot of things, but usually, he had reasons for it. Like how much he disliked meat for being bacteria laden, or how much he disliked muggles because they were useless. She wasn't a muggle though, was she? After all, she knew about spells. But then again, he had heard stories about muggle born kids being capable of performing spells. Just thinking that she could be one of those disgusting folks was making him more irritated. Armin should really know better than to go with her. His twin was usually smart, capable of reading other people, yet, why was he letting himself be deceived by this girl?

He was caught off guard when his twin suddenly stopped walking, making him stumble a little only to catch his balance before he completely fall face down on the dirt. "Can't you just lead us!" He shouted, which was definitely out of his character. But he was getting really irritated. He was already out in the sun for too long, he was sweating, and the dirt clinging on his clothes wasn't helping either. It was only later that he realized what he had just said. He had unconsciously told the girl to lead them to her house.

Scarlet did not know what to do anymore. Should she run away from these two boys? Should she stay with them? Should she really bring them home? The young witch sighed inaudibly. Why was she even like this?! Well, there was nothing she could do now since she had offered to bring them home and the playful one practically agreed. She just hoped that one of her brothers was home so she could ask them to perform a cleaning spell on one of the twins, after all he was badly needing a clean-up. And perhaps she could also prepare some food for the two if they were hungry. Brody and Justin said she was a good cook and she was more than willing to prepare some tea or juice and maybe even have a quick bake for treats if they wished. The young witch shook the thoughts out of her head for a while as she needed to focus more for the current situation.

The young girl was starting to feel rather comfortable and embarrassed as the playful twin kept on getting close to her. Too close for comfort. Nevertheless, she let him do as he please and she nodded in understanding and acknowledgement as the boy seemed to attempt to memorize the directions she had given. They were right and she just followed silently, trying to maintain her distance as they walked. She was quite surprised though as the playful boy suddenly stopped and asked her on where the exit was? What the heck?! Didn't I just tell him?! she thought and was even more shocked at the sudden happening with the silent twin. She cringed and flinched as he fell face down on the ground, getting even dirtier than he was earlier. And she nearly jumped in surprise as the boy yelled at her. "Y-yes," she said in French unconsciously, almost as if it was second nature to her with agreeing to everything that someone was telling her to do. She neared the boy, hoping that she could at least help him stand.

Though he knew that it would only irritate his twin further, Armin laughed. Who could blame him? There was his twin, the ever so silent Rivaille, shouting and letting his emotions get the best of him. His twin was usually organized, hating to do anything that could potentially mess his well thought out plans for the day, yet, now, he was covered with dirt from head to toe. The younger Nightray was sure that he would never hear the end of it once they go home. Or perhaps not, Rivaille wasn't much of a talker after all. He would probably just give him the silent treatment. The longest was three days. Armin then wondered whether it would reach a week this time around. Which made him stop laughing and frown. Though he find it enjoyable to annoy his twin, he certainly didn't like it when the younger Nightray would ignore him.

He quickly approached his twin and offered his hand. "You really ought to exercise Riv. You lack coordination," he told her playfully, though there was a hint of concern in his voice. Perhaps he had been too much. His hand was extended in front of him, waiting for his twin to accept it. He then turned his attention to the girl. She was trying to help, yes, but it would have been wiser if she just distance herself. Rivaille wasn't in the best mood. He shook his head at her. Should she be smart enough, she would back down.

"Should we just go back then?" He really wanted to explore more, and besides, it seemed that the girl was fun to play with. He was already starting to find making her feel uneasy enjoyable. She seemed like a sheep, harmless. It was fun teasing her. But if his twin didn't want to go anymore, perhaps he should just give in to what his twin want. "Or maybe we should get some ice cream or something, I'm sure princess here will be more than willing to pay for us, we saved her after all," he continued with a smirk, dramatically emphasizing the word save. He really didn't have any currency with him that would be acceptable in this world. this part of the country was full with muggles after all, and that would mean that the shops here wouldn't really accept what they have now.

He was already used to his twin's laughter, but this time around, it was more irritating that all the previous ones that he had heard. Rivalle pursed his lips and gave his twin a blank look. Armin was already pushing it. Seriously, rarely did Rivaille het irritated, priding himself to be someone who's mature enough to endure his twins playful attitude, yet, right now, he was nothing but annoyed. The last time that this had happened was when Armin had to be stupid and selfish enough to ask him to pretend and take his place and meet the idiotic daughter of one of their aunt's friends. Madame Red's friends, or acquaintances, or puppets, whatever it was, was your typical pureblood. Armin was sure that he would just make a mess which would result to them being reprimanded by their aunt, and so, he wore his most pitiful mask and ask Rivaille to pretend that he was him. And being him who couldn't really refuse his brother's wishes, he agreed, only to regret it in the end. He had act all smiley and endure the stupidity of the girl. Had to endure letting her sit close to him and had to pretend that he was having fun listening to her stupid stories. at the end of the day, he was too annoyed that he decided to ignore his twin for three whole days. He actually wanted to ignore him longer than that, but Armin knew how to break his resolution. So yes, he had given up within three days.

This time around though, he had decided to do the ignoring game again. He was still on the ground, struggling to get up. I should make it a month, he thought as soon as he heard his brother speak again. However, this all had changed when his brother asked him whether he wanted to go back. His tone was still playful, but being the observant kid that he was, he heard the concern there, which made him a little less irritated. However, the irritation returned to full force as soon as he laid his eyes on the girl. He really couldn't understand why he disliked her so much, it was already bordering on hate. He glared at her and accepted his brother's hand, pushing himself off the ground. He was covered with dirt now. He was about to agree on his brother's offer when he sneezed. "No." He decided. Going back to their aunt in this condition would only mean one thing. He had to endure the whole day fitting and trying different clothes. He had thought he had escaped that already because it seemed the old woman was too focused on her dresses. But should she see him now, he was sure that he would be forced to try on different clothes too, something that he didn't like. And besides, the ice cream proposal was quite attractive too. It was only Armin who knew that he had a sweet tooth. "This first before that." He said shortly, gesturing to his attire. He didn't want to head to a shop when he looked like that. He then gave the girl as sharp look. She mentioned something about a cleaning spell, right? She was too young to do it herself, so perhaps, he could just let her lead them to wherever her house was then afterwards, he could have as much of the treat as he wanted to. This girl would be broke once they were done.

Scarlet sighed. What was she supposed to do again? Wasn't a thank you and an apology enough?! Of course it wasn't. Partly the reason why she had invited these two boys over to her house, but now they were not contented with that and even wanted ice cream! Even more so, bringing up the fact that she had been saved by the two of them. Of course it was true but she would have much rather them not bringing it up as she already knew it herself without them plastering it on her face that she had been saved by twin boys, one who was playful and seemed to be enjoying making her uncomfortable and one that was mostly silent and seemed to hate every fiber of her humanity. The young witch sighed inaudibly. How many times had she sighed this day already? Barely uncountable, but it was fine. After all, this was not completely considered as a good day for the youngest Joussane.

Scarlet was almost going to help out the silent twin stand until she had caught sight of the playful one shaking his head at her. As if telling her to back down, which of course, she did. She was not an idiot, and of course she noticed the dislike the twin had for her, and so if the other had told her not to help, she wouldn't. She wouldn't push herself to a person she knew didn't like her. She watched the exchange between the twins and waited for them to finally make up their minds. She knew that either way, she wouldn't love the decision so much, but then again, they had a point. They saved her and she knew that she should repay them with something as a thank you. And she was right, their decision wasn't very favorable as they still decided to have the ice cream. Scarlet knew that she shouldn't ask Justin for more money since they were barely getting through each month. And so it meant that it would be time for the young witch to bring out her savings when she gets home.

The young girl nodded at the two boys in understanding and motioned for them to follow her. She didn't dare look back if the two had been following her. Of course, either way was fine with her. Besides, it was impossible that they would lose her since she kept her pace just enough for the two of them to see her in front of them as she led the way out of the amusement park and into the neighborhood just a three to five minute walk away from the said attraction. Scarlet continued walking until she finally reached the front of a house before softly speaking. "It's not charmed or anything. Please don't expect anything big," she said before making her way towards the house knocking on the door. She hoped it would be Justin staying at home and not Crische or Brody.

Armin knew that the word ice cream would calm his twin down. No one knew, but the younger Nightray was actually fond of everything sweet. Rivaille was one who loved to act like an adult, but he had this childish traits too, and at times, Armin would exploit those for him to get whatever he wanted from the younger boy. He had done so a few times before, and though in the end, he would have to pay the consequences for trying to manipulate his much manipulative twin, it was still fun. He mentally cheered himself for getting what he wanted. He was sure that once they get home and once Rivaille had thought back about what had happened, he would be facing his brother's wrath. He was prepared for that though, after all, he had made sure that there was enough supply of sweets in his closet.

The ten year old smiled cheekily as followed the girl towards her house. It didn't take them long. However, he noticed how everything was different from what he was used to. There weren't much people, but the houses and the structures here were too bland for his liking. There were no exploding tricks anywhere, no people flying on their brooms or just people magically appearing somewhere. This place, honestly, was too boring. How the girl's family had managed to stay here, he didn't know. He surely won't be able to survive living such a plain and simple life. Just an hour of doing nothing was already a torture. What more would it be should he live like this?

His train of thought, however, was disturbed when he heard the girl speak. In front of him was the simplest house that he had ever seen, and that was already an overstatement. This didn't look like a wizard's house at all. It was disappointing to say the least. He gave his brother a look, he knew that his twin would not appreciate having to stay in this type of house. However, the thought of being able to enter a muggle looking house excites him. He shrugged and took a step forward, walking towards the girl and doing what she did too. He too, knocked a few times before looking at her and knocking again. "Do you have house elves here?," he asked curiously, not stopping with his knocking. He then looked at his twin and gestured for him to walk forward as well. Rivaille might not like it, but he was sure that it was better than being stuck in a room full of frilly dresses.

Just when he thought that he had already reach the peak of his irritation, Rivalle was faced yet again, with another thing that could potentially annoy him. He could do with having to walk around a place with muggles, but enter a house of one was entirely different. Sure, the girl seemed to know a lot about the magical world. Sure, she didn't look like your typical muggle, but this house, this house screams filthy muggle to him. It didn't look magical at all. And the place, the place was hideous. He was not one for extravagance and unnecessary luxury, but this house was too simple. It looked like a muggle house to him and he rather drop dead that to enter it. He had already enough having to breath the same air as those filthy excuses for human beings, he didn't want to enter their house.

Rivaille crossed his arms defiantly in front of him, ignoring his twin. No. He didn't want to enter that hideous house. He took some step back, refusing to move any further. He watched as his twin talked to the girl. Until know, he knew not of her name. He was still at a disadvantage here. Armin was practically shouting his name since earlier, Riv here, Riv there. And the girl still had no name. Armin, however, seemed to have settled on calling her princess. He wouldn't dare call her that. Such term was too stupid for his taste. Besides, she looked far from being a princess. Sure, unlike the one from before, he looked close to a girl. she didn't look like a boy cross dressing and trying to wear a skirt. But still, she was far from being a princess. Only one woman had ever been beautiful to the young Nightray's eyes. Their mother. He was only four when he last saw her, but her face and her glowing reddish hair was still clear on his mind. This girl was nowhere near his mother's beauty. He tapped his feet impatiently and stared blankly at the two in front of him. His brother was being annoying, creating too much noise with his continuous knocks. He seriously wanted to leave, but the thought of a sweet treat and being free of this dirt was stopping him from turning on his heel and abandon his brother.

Brody had been home for three hours, and as per usual, he had the house all to himself. Various notes were left on the door of the fridge, indicating where each of his siblings had gone off to. Justin was at work. As usual. And it also said that he wouldn't be back till late night since his boss had asked him to work overnight. And then Crische was once again outdoors, probably to search for another chick to flirt with. Last, was his little sister, Scarlet. It had said on the little note that she'd be on a field trip on the nearby amusement park thanks to her muggle school activities. The young girl really didn't need nor fully want to go to such a school but Brody himself had insisted since he really didn't want her to be all alone for hours at home. But then again, he was partly regretting that decision as after only a few weeks, Scarlet had shut herself out from the three of them. She became a silent girl and less cheery than before. He missed the noisy and gleeful sister he had.

Brody had his eyes on the television before someone had begun knocking on the door. He wondered on who could it be for Scarlet was not to arrive till late afternoon and it was only two in the afternoon and Justin was not too arrive till at most midnight and knowing Cris, he would probably be home from late night to early morning. As soon as the knocking escalated, he got up from the couch in which he lay and walked towards the door, hearing the knocking increasing in number and in noise. It was getting annoying for the Durmstrang student and he quickly swung the door open. "What the hell is your problem?!" he quickly yelled in French, until he caught sight of his sister and two boys. Two similar boys. Well, almost since one was dirty and the other was clean. "Scar... I thought you wouldn't be back till late afternoon," he asked as he opened the door some more and stepping aside to give them space to enter the house. "Who are they?" the boy asked, not quite in a friendly tone. Two boys were with his sister and Brody surely did not like either of them as soon as he first laid eyes on them. He inspected his sister as soon as she came into the house and noticed a knew set of grazes and wounds on her leg. "What happened to your legs, Scarlet?" Brody asked, trying to hide his anger. Someone had hurt his sister again. Surely if he found out who they were, there would be hell to pay.

Scarlet couldn't help the sigh that had crossed her lips as they had reached her home. It seemed that the two were not happy at all with her simple house. It was not big at all, since they preferred it that way. They lived in a muggle community and had to be really careful with their lifestyle. And besides, they were barely getting by with what Justin was earning. They need not any more furniture and technological or magical stuff than necessary. She was more than willing to live in a smaller house if need be. After all, she was raised as one not used to riches. As she continued to knock on the door, she had heard one of the boys speak, which she knew to be the playful one. The girl shook her head. A house elf would mean an extra mouth to feed and they did not need that, although Justin had considered in once in a while after her parents died. And besides, between the four of them, they were more than capable to finish every household chore that needed to be done. Especially if it was Scarlet doing the work.

The young witch nearly jumped in surprise as Brody suddenly opened the door and started yelling. Why did it have to be Brody? she thought for she knew that she was in trouble. "Sorry. I just forgot something and since our house is nearby, I though I could get it now," she hurriedly said as she entered the house and tried to usher the twins inside. Scarlet nearly flinched though at her brother's next question. Indeed, who were the boys that were with her. If she were to say that she did not know them, Brody would be furious. "Friends," she said but she had no idea what the boys' names were. She had an idea, yes, but she really didn't want to guess. "I just fell down Bud. Clumsy," was all the young girl said as she made her way to one of the two bedrooms in the house. She brought out her piggy bank and from the top of her bed, she let it fall, ultimately breaking it, letting the coins and bills she had saved to scatter on the floor. "Brody, can you perform the cleaning spell on the boy, please?" she said while she gathered the money on the floor in her room. Hopefully, her brother wouldn't bring up anymore questions for she would be in trouble would a simple slip of the tongue.

Armin Nightray was enjoying the sound being made by his continuous knocking on the girl's wooden door. The house was too bland and simple for his liking, but at least, the door was quite interesting to say the least. He never did got the chance to do this thing at home for should he do it, he was quite sure that his aunt would go insane on him. She was already quite crazy, the last thing he wanted was for her to go completely insane on them. He tried various combinations, three quick ones, two slow ones, then pause, then knock again. His smirk only grew wider as he tried other patterns, occasionally looking at his twin to make sure that the younger had not left yet. However, being the kid that was easily distracted and thus, easily bored, he soon got tired of what he was doing. The knocking increased in volume. He was growing quite impatient, and as he was to deliver the final knock that he was sure would knock the door down, something which was not really that impossible considering how he viewed the house as something that could easily be torn down, someone shouted from the inside, and before his fist came in contact with the wood, the door burst open, and in front of them stood a boy whom he assumed to be the girl's brother.

The boy cursed but the young Nightray didn't care. Instead, he smiled innocently at the seemingly older boy and let himself be ushered inside. The inside of the house was no different that the outside. To a boy who grew up surrounded by magic and to a boy who had been raised in a huge manor with servants and expensive furniture, the girl's house was a huge change of surroundings. He didn't really listen to the siblings' conversation. Instead, he moved around the house and inspected anything that his hands would get. This was his first time in a house that was heavily influenced by muggles, and he was quite sure that should his family learn of this, he would not be able to hear the end of it. The Nightrays was an old fashioned family and while the later generation were more open and were not that much of an elitist, the older ones still stand firm with their beliefs that purebloods like them were special. He continued to move around, stopping only when he heard the girl call them as friends. He had the urge to correct her. He knew that his twin would correct her, but that won't be good at all. In fact, saying the truth would be troublesome for them. He really didn't want to get kicked out of the house. So before his brother could say anything, he decided to interfere. "Yes, we're princess' friends," he said in a playful voice. He didn't know the girl's name, but at least, should the boy question him, he could always say that he preferred to call her that way.

Armin watched as the girl disappeared into a room and turned his attention to the older boy. "My name is Eren, and you are?," he asked. He really didn't feel like saying his real name. His aunt had told them a thousand times not to trust anyone and to not give out their names that easily. "Aren't you too young though to use magic outside your school?" It wasn't that he cared, but as far as he knew, anyone who is under the age of seventeen is not allowed to perform any kind of magic outside their school.

Rivaille Nightray disliked a lot of things, it was a trait that he shared with his older cousin. He disliked waiting, he disliked frilly dresses, and he disliked noise. Muggles, however, was on another level. He hated them. Dislike and hate were two different things. Rarely does he use the word hate. It was reserved for those people who had brutally murdered his family. They were still young by then, but he remembered it clearly. He may not know who those people are, but he vowed a long time ago to avenge his family. But muggles, he hated them too. Perhaps it was because unlike his brother who preferred to play around with kids their age, Rivailled preferred to stay at home and surround himself with those who were older. The older members of the Nightray family valued blood purity, and thus, their hatred of muggles must have passed to the younger Nightray.

Rivaille crossed his arms in front of his chest. He really didn't like what was happening. Here he was, surrounded by everything he disliked yet he couldn't leave because his usually smart brother was being stupid. He continued to tap his foot impatiently, watching his brother knock on the door. After a while, as he had expected, the occupants, or occupant for that matter, of the house grew angry because of the noise. He was about to turn around hoping that he brother would get bored of it all because from his place, he could see that the inside of the house was as bland as it looked outside already. However, before he could even take a step away, the girl ushered him inside. He gave her a cold look. He didn't like being touched. However, before he could say something, he found himself inside the dreaded house.

The girl introduced them as her friends. Something which other people might appreciate but he did not. He didn't even know this girl's name. Besides, he need not have any friends. Having one would be too troublesome. He refused to move even though his brother seemed to be comfortable enough to wander around the house and touch the things located there. He, however, dared not to do anything. He didn't want to be inflicted by any possible disease that he could get in this house. His eyes followed the girl as she disappeared into a room. He wanted to leave. As soon as he was clean, he would. Of course, not forgetting his ice cream too.

Brody surely disliked the situation unfolding before him. His sister had just brought home friends. It would have been alright if it were girls or kids, any gender of kids, that were younger than Scarlet by three years or so. But what did she bring home?! Two boys her age! Of course, being the protective older brother he really is, he glared at those two boys. He really didn't want either of them close to his sister. Aside from that, Scarlet had said that both were her friends, and yet one of them seemed to dislike her an awful lot. The Durmstrang student had to wonder if these were one of the kids who dared to hurt his sister. If they were, then there would be hell to pay with or without the use of magic.

Brody didn't want to believe that the grazes that his sister had gotten were from just simply falling down. It was her excuse like almost every time! The three of them knew their sister better than anyone, and they knew that the little girl was far from being clumsy that would fall every single time that she would be in school. It was just not possible since if she were clumsy, a lot of things in the house would have been broken by now since it was the girl who mostly took care of the household chores since he and Cris were at Durmstrang most of the time and Justin was at work trying to provide for the four of them. But then again, Brody decided to remain silent for a while, he would have to tell Justin about Scarlet's knew wounds and bruises. He didn't quite expect though the younger's sudden request of cleaning the dirty boy up with a spell. "Are you crazy Scar? I'm underaged!" Brody said as he scratched his head though as he made his way to the phone, planning to call Justin. "I'm calling Justin to perform the spell. Since you need to be cleaned up too and those grazes have to be dealt with," he said as he begun to dial the phone to Justin's work. "You guys just sit down anywhere or something, he'll be here in a few minutes," Brody muttered in a not so welcoming tone and begun to talk with the oldest among the brothers on the phone.

After talking to Justin, Brody walked to the two boys and took a glance at the television. "The name's Brody," he said since he figured that it would be too impolite as the two boys were under their roof and he would refuse to say his name. Besides, Scarlet had already said his name and so there really was no point in keeping it a secret. After a few moments though, the older walked into the room to find his sister gathering coins and bills that had been in her piggy bank just moments ago. "What are you gonna use them for Scar? I thought you were saving those," he said worriedly. Scarlet refused to the contents of her piggy bank for more than a year, yet now, she was gathering them. Brody sometimes hated that he knew her sister too well to know a few things. "What's the problem Scar?"

Scarlet knew that Brody wasn't really allowed to perform magic outside of Durmstrang. Well, no wizard or wizard was allowed to, maybe unless they were home-schooled. But seeing as her brother attends wizarding school, he was not really allowed to perform magic at home. It was one of the reasons why she wished that it was Justin who was at home, since he was the only one eligible to perform magic. Cris was only graduating and Bud was a third year, meaning that it was only the eldest capable of performing actual magic within the household. Unlucky for them though that it seemed that Justin was at work. But then, Brody had always been prepared for almost anything and he had Justin's work number. Well, the girl really didn't want to disturb her brother whilst he was at work, but seeing as it was Brody that decided to call, there really was no stopping the older since aside from being the most prepared and most protective among her three brothers, he was also the most stubborn. And so, Scarlet just remained in her room, collecting the coins and bills she had saved in the span of a year.

"B-Brody," Scarlet suddenly looked up on her brother in the midst of her counting the coins and bills she had saved. From her daily allowance everyday, she had always kept everything in her piggy bank for she had always said that in any case that an emergency would arise, she wouldn't need to ask Justin for any money. Yet now, here she was about to spend her savings on things that these two would want just for her thanks for saving her. "It's nothing, Brody, I promise. I just need to buy a few things with my friends," she said not really completely the truth, not completely a lie. She finished counting her savings and found that it would be more than enough for one or two years of her wizarding schooling, but then she would have to spend it today. She had no choice though, she already promised the two boys her thanks. She would just have to save more money after this encounter. She got up and got herself a bag that her mom had gotten for her during her birthday and put all her money there before exiting the room, pulling her brother along with her to the living room.
