Rowan Chase never thought for an instant that he would be afraid of anything. The dark? No way. Aliens? Meh they are cool. Spiders? Well... The Forbidden Forest? No way in heck! Rowan wanted nothing more but to explore the place, and though he told his twin where he was going, he didn't exactly stick around for an answer. Rowan was fast on his feet. He thought about trying out for Quidditch, but he did not want to borrow a broom from the school. Who knew how many people flew on it. Rowan ventured out to the edge of the forest, and stopped. The sun was slowly starting to set. He had enough time to explore a little before dinner, right? Rowan just could not find the bravery to enter in there just yet. Sometimes, when one was alone was when the fear was at its' greatest.​

Ever since that Herbology lesson where they were allowed to enter the Forbidden Forest, Daisuke was wondering what others he could find within the forest in terms of plants. It would have been interesting if the only reason why the forest was forbidden was because students would end up trampling on poor unsuspecting plants. It was still light out so Daisuke figured he’d be able to find his way back to the mistletoe area, and from there he would be able to check the surroundings for more signs of cultivated plant life. He was at the edge of the Forest when he noticed another student, one from his year he was sure, lingering about similarly. “Are… Are you going i-in too?” he stammered at the boy.​
