According to the HISTORY the castle is near (the real place) Wanganui, New Zealand. This is on the west coast of the north island.

I'm not sure if this was ever changed, but as far as I know that's still correct

Because people are RPing that it is snowing, and I wasn't sure =P

The higher up ares definitely get snow, (mountains etc.) and the internet seems to suggest that a lot of areas in NZ do get heavy snow despite its climate.

Odd, I thought it only snowed in the South Island...
