Every year on the 11th of December, Geo Volt would celebrate the day she'd been found in Brighton as a baby. No one had known the exact date she'd been born on, but given the doctors predictions it had to have been around that date. Without fail, she would write an extra long letter to her former guardians back in England, appreciating all the work they'd put in for so many years. One day she'd vowed to go back, to help where she could, even if it was just for a few weekends a year.
Although the Hufflepuff didn't really make a large spectacle of her birthday, Geo did enjoy the Christmas period. This year however she wanted to do something special for those that would remain at the castle over the upcoming break, and as she made her way to the entrance hall, she stuck up a poster that would hopefully grab everyones attention. It was good to come together at a time like this, and perhaps those that didn't have families to return to, or reasons that kept them at school, would be able to enjoy not just the Yule Ball but the beginning of a new year too.
