Touring the country with nothing but her guitar was something Bronte had always wanted to do because she imagined it would be such an interesting experience but she also wanted to tour the nation and the world with her band and so far she was able to do one of those things. Her producer had sent her on the tour buss and until recently they were playing a show every night with a sizable crowd coming to watch them but she would be daft if she said she didn't miss Christian. She had called him so often while she was gone that she knew a hunk of her money would be going towards her phone bill but now she was done the five month tour and she was back in New York City. She swung her guitar over her shoulder as she stepped carefully down from the buss with her clothes in the bag she held in her hand. She walked up to her apartment and put everything away before apparated to Christian's without a warning because she missed him. Bronte had written far too many songs about loneliness while they were apart - not that she saw the correlation - and all she wanted to do was to spend time with him. Normally she would have just walked in, she did have a key after all, but she had left it on her kitchen counter when she was away and hadn't thought to pick it up and thought it might be a tad more interesting to get to see his reaction to her this way.

With this thought still resonating in her mind, Bronte knocked on the door before she straightened her messy hair so it was slightly-less messy and stuck her hands into the pockets of her black leather jacket. Despite the cold Bronte was so glad to be back home and with her best friend. She wasn't quite sure why but her stomach twisted as she waited for the door to open so she could see her brown haired friend. She wished that he would have come with her but he had a life and a band of his own. It would have been great if they could play together but aside from the odd song together they butted heads so often with music that it was enough to make even the most perseverant person quit but there were times when they were a great pair. Thinking back to those times, Bronte chewed down on her bottom lip as her lips curled into a smile. Something about how close they had been appealed to her and right now all she wanted to do was hug him as tightly as her arms could.
