Shaylah walked along the Hogwarts gardens trying to calm down. She was in a bad mood and she wanted to get it simmered down before she went to the common room to do her homework. She could never concentrate on anything when she was in a mood like this. Also, this was when people would have to stay away the most. It was when she was most likely to lash out without caring about the consequences. It wasn't like she had any parents who were going to send her letters telling her how she was grounded and wasn't going to have any allowance for a month. Her dad was in azkaban and her mother was dead. All she had was her house elf, two cats, owl and aging dog. Stress was getting to her and she was wondering whether there was any point in even trying at school. This was when she remembered that she had to make sure that in fifteen years when her dad came out of azkaban he could be proud of what she'd done. Shay suddenly felt determined to get her homework done. She turned on her heals and started walking back to the common room.
