Tobe-Mae Ellis was having a time at Hogwarts New Zealand. Other than in the Slytherin common room, she did not see her brother very much. He was several years above her, so there was no need for them to interact unless it was an emergency or inevitable. Other than that, she liked Slytherin so far. Their head of house did not seem so bad in her eyes. Not everyone was meant to be all smiles and giggles. The girl walked onto the courtyard and took in a breath of fresh air. It was nice to have a bit of light shine on her. She was holding her case with her violin in her hand as she walked over to a bench. She quickly set the case down and opened it, taking the instrument and the bow out. She proceeded to step onto the bench, making sure to face the center. She liked feeling like she was on stage. It put pressure on her to put on a perfect performance, as if her parents were watching. She girl set the violin underneath her chin and started to play a simple tune, the happy birthday one. It was an easy tune to warm up with before she started working on something more challenging. Tobe-Mae was always up for a challenge. She craved to be better, to be the best. It was her ambition that ultimately put her with her brother in Slytherin.

Alright Uno. The Slytherin girl told herself. You have to do this. Uno was sat on a bench in the Courtyard, forcing herself to do her homework. She couldn't believe she was in her Fourth Year already, but the way the homework was going, it was as if the Professor's definitely weren't letting them forget. Older, and supposedly more wiser, right? The Fourth Year groaned audibly as she read the question for the fifth time, unable to get it to sink into her head. She thought maybe studying by herself would make it easier to focus, but boy was she wrong. Still, there was no way she'd join stupid Alice Holland's study group.
With another groan, Uno threw herself back so her back was laying on the bench, closing her eyes and putting the book on her face. This was so stupid, why couldn't they just throw spells around, why did they have to do writing work and essays? It was so stupid, and not at all what she thought wizard school was going to be like. A noise jolted her awake though, and she looked angrily over to see who was disturbing her nap study time. Before she could get too angry though, Uno realized she recognized the face. Finn's sister! Toby, or something. Finn hadn't properly introduced them, which the Slytherin girl though was a bit rude. Leaving her books where they were (hoping that someone would steal them, because that would be a great excuse), Uno moved over to the younger Slytherin, clapping when she finished the song. "You're Toby - right? Finn's kid sister?"

When Tobe played the violin, she was in her element. Music had always been something she was good at, and it only helped that she was also passionate about it. There were not very many people who were passionate about what they were good at. Just because someone was one did not mean they were the other. When she finished the small tune, she was about to go into another one, but someone interrupted her, which made the girl open her eyes. She recognized the girl as one of her brother's friends. "Tobe-Mae." she corrected the girl. It was rare that people just called her Tobe. It depended on how she was feeling, and she did not want this girl to get too comfortable with her just yet. The first year stepped down from the bench and set her instrument and bow down in the case before she looked back at the older girl. "What's your name?" she asked softly. It would be good to know some of her brother's friends. They could potentially become useful later.

Uno nodded her head when the girl corrected her, names weren't really her strong suit anyway, but she definitely did seem to be Finn's sister, so the Slytherin was going to make an effort to remember hers. Tobe-Mae, Tobe-Mae, Tobe-Mae. "I'm Uno! I'm sure Finn has told you all about me - all the good things, right?" Uno teased, though in fairness she hadn't really heard much about Tobe-Mae, so she wasn't sure if the two did interact much. "And you're in Slytherin too! Has Shark-boy shown you the ropes?" Uno asked, sitting down on the bench near them.

Tobe-Mae quickly searched her brain to see if Finn had mentioned Uno. She recalled a few times when the girl was mentioned, but the times had mainly been at the dinner table. "Not much, really. He did mention a talent show a long time ago.." she said, but she still remained unsure of whether her memory was right. Tobe shook her head at Uno's next question. However, she did not think there was much to learn at this point. Everything had been explained quite clearly during the first week. "Is there more to know?" she asked curiously as she sat next to the girl, placing her own instrument gently at her feet. If there was more to know, she was open to learning it.
