Nina walked into the hall with all of the other HS representitives and looked over at the Dumstrang representitives and thought, Wow, a lot of those boys are cuter then the ones in Scotland.

Then she turned back foward and saw Alex, James, Noah, Sakura and Asher put there names in and finally it was her turn. Nina mustered up as much confidence as she had and walked quietly towards the Goblet of Fire. When she crossed the line she looked down at the piece of parchment that held her fate. Nina put the paper into the goblet of fire.

Nina turned back around, looked threw the crowd and saw Alex, she smiled and looked down to hide the fact that she was blushing. Nina walked towards him and smiled. Nina whispered to him, "Hey."

Njord sat with his friends at the Hufflepuff table. They weren't many but he did enjoy being around his fellow classmates. He watched with excitement as one by one the various students dropped their name into the goblet. He cheered and clapped whenever a New Zealand student went up to the cup.

I can't wait to see the competition, this is going to be such a great year. He finally felt glad that he had decided to stay this year.

As Evie took her seat at the head table, she made herself comfortable.

As time passed she watched pupil after pupil enter their name into the Goblet, six of her pupils had already entered their names' and Evie had her thoughts on which one would be the best to be chosen, but was keeping her thoughts to herself and decided to wait until Wednesday to see the who the Champion will be.

Kiera walked into the Great Hall and gasped. It was amazing, probably the prettiest sight in the entire world. She walked to the Gryffindor table, chatting and smiling at people as she went. She finally took her seat for the dinner. Kiera was surprised by the extra amounts of people. She skimmed the Durmstrang table. She saw several really attractive males but no sign of the face she most wanted to see. Cameron. Where was that boy?

Finally the end of dinner came. It was time to put the names in the Goblet. Kiera had thought long and hard about whether she wanted to compete or not. At the end she decided it was too much of a challenge not to at least attempt to be chosen as the champion. She had her name written on a slip of paper. She got up and walked towards the Goblet.

Cameron walked into the Great Hall with his fellow Durmstrang students. He wore a proud look. He was pleased he had been allowed to come to this school and have the chance to be the Triwizard champion. Cam looked around the hall. He saw his sister and flashed her a crooked grin followed by a wink. He was glad to be seeing her again. His eyes scanned the crowd next for Caysi. He saw her but she wasnt looking at him.

Cameron took his place at the table. Dinner magically appeared and he sampled everything. It all was amazing. Even if it wasnt his southern fried chicken. Time quickly passed. Before he knew it, it was time to start entering names. He took out his parchment and dropped it in the fire.

Bruin had returned to school for his fifth year with his mind clearly focused on two things, his OWL's and Quidditch. He had made the difficult decision to drop a couple of electives so that he might devote more attention to those that he thought might help him with his future plans. Bruin was just starting to see the benefit of reducing his workload when the chatter of the Triwizard Tournament began. As a result, he had spent the past couple of days wondering about what it might involve and whether or not he should enter his name into the Goblet of Fire.

Bruin hadn't made a definitive decision as he made his way down to the Great Hall for the Welcome Banquet. He grabbed his usual seat near the end of the Gryffindor table and found himself still deliberating as the students from Durmstrang and Hogwarts Scotland entered. He listened as Headmistress Barker explained first the perils of the tournament itself and then the selection process, growing increasingly more intrigued as time went on.

Bruin was relieved that the food arrived before he had to make a decision as eating was definitely something that he excelled at and typically helped calm his nerves. As Bruin was finishing off his third and final helping, he became dimly aware of a slow, but steady stream of students from the three schools heading up to the Goblet of Fire and entering their names for consideration. Should he follow suit? He wondered to himself.

Bruin didn't fear many things and had been raised to always live his life in the moment. He didn't know if the Goblet would decide that he would be a worthy champion for Hogwarts New Zealand or not, but he knew he would never forgive himself for not pursuing the possibility. Besides, Bruin had developed a bit of a fondness for trophies and he didn't like the idea of some student from another school walking into the place he'd called home for the past several years and attempting to walk off with one that belonged here. His decision was made.

Bruin pulled a pen out of his knapsack, grabbed a clean napkin from a stack in the centre of the table and quickly scrawled his name on it.

Hopping up from the table, Bruin took a few long strides towards the Goblet of Fire and tossed his name into the fray before returning to his table for one last piece of pie.

Andromeda sat at the Gryffindor table amazed at how buzy the place was, she knew the other schools had arrived earlier that morning but other than the start of school and the leaving feast she couldn't remember when she had ever seen the hall so packed. The headmistress stood to speak and welcomed the students from Durmstrang and Scotland. Andromeda clapped a welcome along with the rest of her table. This was so exciting.

When the speech was over and the food had been eaten, Andromeda leaned aside to get a better look at the Goblet of Fire. It really looked impressive. Then the first of the students began to walk towards it. Pulling a large banner out from beneath the bench Andromeda excused herself as she stood up on it to wave the banner, cheering loudly for all those of Hogwarts NZ that went up. It was when four of their table got up that she could no longer contain herself and franctically waved her banner cheering and clapping loudly for Hilary, Cyndi, Kiera and Bruin.

She hoped she hadn't embarressed them but she hadn't known any of them were going to put their names in, so the excitement was electric for her. She was just so excited for them, the thought that their school champion might be from their house was so absolutely thrilling. Eventually she sat back down, flushed with excitement and delighted to know such brave friends.

Professor Cross sat at the Professor's Table and listened half-heartedly to the Headmistress and clapped when when is was needed. This was his first real view of the entire school and the pomp and pageantry of the Great Hall. He was impressed.

He was doubly impressed with the Hogwarts Scotland and the Durmstrang students and Headmistress'. They all appeared so disciplined and sure of themselves as each student dropped their name into the Goblet. He watched too as the students of his own school came up one by one laying down their own gauntlet.

He couldn't help but worry about these young people and the danger they were entering. The last Triwizard Tournament turned out to be fatal for one and canceling the event for so many years was necessary. He only hoped that the champions that the Goblet picked were strong and smart and would survive the tasks that were set for them.

Maya stood by the great hall door listening to what the headmistress had to say. She looked around at the many students who had gather up in groups waiting for the speech to end. She wasn't so drill about this all, it was making her a bit nervous but her face expression told other wise.

One by one as each student enter their name, she watched closely to the other school, who didnt seem so competive towards her at the tuime. She wasn't much of a competive person, but she knew that didn't matter towards the rest of them. It was to win, not o lose, she mumbled under her breath eyeing each of of them. Once she had the courage to go up their she took a piece of parchment and in big blue letter she wrote her name.

Now it was time to put it in the goblet, she siged taking a breath at a time as she walked towards the snmoking goblet. Once she had stood right in front of it, she slipped in the piece of parchment into the goblet, as the goblet fire excepted her parchment. She wasn't sure if it matter at this point if her name was choosen or not, all that it matter was she was able to what was right. Once she saw the falme shimmer down, she took serveal stpes back and went back to where she was standing looking back at the others as they enter their name.

Zazuka was watching the contestents go up to the Goblet of Fire though her hands. She had started out alright but she had spoted some of the Drumstrang boys. They where all so unaturaly handsome that Zazuka felt the color rise up on her cheeks. Zazuka wanted to but her head down but she also wanted to see who would compet for thier school so she watched though her fingers while the her hands where searving so she could hide the fact that she was not a bright red color.

Maddiie was sitting with the rest of the hufflepuff students, listening to what Headmistress Alicia had to say, she was excited about the triwizard tournament, not only about the events but the fact she could finally meet others from different school. Her eyes glance towards the Drumstarng students, who were formally dressed in their maroon color uniform. She had remembered them so carefully, becuase both her younger brother were from that same school.

She also looked at their sister school, who were dressed in some what similar uniform as them, she gave them a quick smiled than glance back at the headmistress trying to listen what was being said. As soon as Headmistress Alicia, was done she looked about as one by one each student started putting their name in the goblet of fire. She had already written her in a sort of orange and yellow color, so that she could show hufflepuff pride for entering the triwizard tournamnet.

Once it was her turn, Maddiie slowly walked up towards the goblet looking back at her house mate, who beckoned her to go on ahead. "You can do it Maddiie, dont be afraid" she heard a few of them say, she was thankful that they were there. If it weren't for them, she would have been supper panicing mode, and now wasn't the time to panic. Once she reached the goblet she carefully reached out her right hand, slipping the piece or parchmet into the goblet, she heard a faint cheer, as she looked back smiling at her house mate as the goblet accepted her parchment. She walked back cheerfully, happy that she had enough courage to do such a thing.

Lily decided that it was time for her to put her name in the goblet. She was nervous, but excited all the same. She slowly pulled the parchment that she had prepared with her name on it from her robe and stood up. Slowly she began to walk down the aisle to the goblet.

Lily finally reached the goblet, putting her hand up and slowly dropping the piece into the cup. She smiled, turned back towards her table and made her way back. She sat down and a received a few claps on her back. She was not sure if she would be in the tournament, but was willing to give it a shot.

Nicolae was excited to enter the Great Hall. He was following in the footsteps of his idol, Viktor Krum. He wanted to be like him desperately, and being chosen as a representative for Durmstrang was a great honor, as well as putting him one step closer to being like him. He marched in with precision with the rest of the students, noting the back of Katerina's head as he did. He could not stand his ex-girlfriend, and wished she was still back at the school instead of here. How he would work past his feelings for her with her in the same boat as him, he had no idea.

Finally the time came for them to enter names to the Goblet of Fire. His heart began to flutter and his hands became clammy as he held the small parchment that contained his name.

Quickly it became his turn to enter. He marched confidently up to the cup and dropped his name in. He did not want to disclose the churning of his stomach to anyone. He turned with a snap of his cape, and walked back to his spot at the table. His face remained emotionless, though his insides were tossing and turning like a boat in a hurricane.
