With a wave of his hand, Austiin continued to pack away his things. He had been planning to move for some time. He was going to move closer to Lexi, that would make things easier. It was nice to be able to rebuild their friendship when most of his other close friends had fallen. However, it was hard to clean when there were three children running around. Sure, one was about ten, but that didn't mean he was any help. Tommy often kept to himself. However, Oliver and Wynter were two and quite happy to run around and get their hands into everything. Austiin was sure he was going to have to stickytape them to the wall or something, just to keep them at bay. Oliver and Wynter just wanted to play with him, because he was usually open to playing with them, but right now was not the time to play. He had to pack up all of this stuff and get it into his new house within the week. Sure, this was made easier by magic, but it turns out that two two year old's would make everything hard to accomplish, even with magic.

For the second time, Austiin picked Wynter up and put her in the playpen. She kept on climbing out and he wasn't sure how. He scanned the lounge room, looking for a small brunette hiding among the boxes. Oliver had to be here somewhere, small children didn't just disappear, no matter how fast they were. He tilted his head when he heard someone ruffling through something. He walked passed some boxes and put his hands on his hips. There was Oliver, eating his photos. Did he really have to do that? What was Lexi teaching him to do, eat everything Austiin owned? Just yesterday Austiin found the small boy eating his cutlery. His cutlery! "Oliver, get that out of your mouth." He plucked the photo's from the young boys hands and examined them, his face scowling. They were of Cameron, him and a few other people. He rolled his eyes and threw the photo's over his shoulder. He would just destroy them at a later day. Cameron decided that this was best, and Austiin was perfectly happy with giving up on him. He was over working hard on relationship stuff. It was better to just be single. He didn't have to worry about all the hard work that came with partners. He had his family, that was enough for him.

He returned to packing, only to remember that he forgot to put Oliver away. He frowned to himself and began searching for the boy once more. This was impossible. He heard a knock at the door and pursed his lips. Who was that? He began to walk towards the door, but spotted Oliver sitting in front of it. He frowned. "Oliver Cameron Mckenna-Hayes, you put that vase down!" It was his favourite. Austiin possibly loved that vase more than his arm. He quickly scooped up the toddler and removed the vase from his grasp. "Do not touch everything you see." He put the vase on the ground and opened the door, Oliver on his hip. "Yeah-Cameron?" He was taken by surprise, and his face showed it. He hadn't expected to see Cam again, and he wasn't entirely sure how he felt about this situation.

Cameron sighed as he looked at his apartment. When he had left Austiin two years ago, he had left all of his money with him. He may not have liked what had happened, but he also wanted to make sure that the kids were going to be well looked after. It was one of the reasons that he had been living in this crappy little apartment for so long. He had been so angry for so long and now he wasn't even sure he remembered why he had been angry in the first place. What did he want Austiin to do that he hadn't already done? Give up the kids? No, because he knew that feeling, despite those kids having too many parents. Austiin had apologised way more then he ever should have needed to. Sure it was a crappy thing that they did, and at the time Cameron had every right to be angry, but hadn't he dragged this on for long enough? Didn't Austiin deserve to be forgiven? Cameron wasn't sure, but all he knew was that he really loved Austiin and he wasn't prepared to never see him again. Even if they couldn't be together, he atleast wanted to see Austiin one more time, before he left to go back to France. Because if he went to France, he was never going to come back to New Zealand ever again.God Austiin. This is what it comes down to is it?

Cameron made his way up the steps of the place he once used to find so much joy in. A sliver of a smile skirted onto his lips as dozens of memories assaulted his mind. That time that Austiin first found out that he was dating Abby. The time when Cameron discovered he was gay, much to Austiin's enjoyment. The first time that they had kissed. How their first dated had ended rather badly but had come good in the end. Adopting Tommy, everyone moving in. Kylie biting Austiin on the hand. He sighed, why did this have to be so painful? He walked up to the door and was about to knock when he could hear noises from behind the door. He smiled, same old Austiin. He knocked on the door and waited patiently. However, it was then that he heard something that brought a shock to his otherwise sad face. Oliver Cameron? They had named the child after him? Why didn't Austiin tell him that when he came to visit! He would have liked to know this two bloody years ago. He sighed and rubbed his suddenly throbbing head. The door opened and Austiin was standing in the doorway. There was a look of utter shock on his face and young, who he assumed, Oliver on his hip. Cameron looked sheepish and nodded. "Hi Austiin, it's... really good to see you."

This was incredibly unfair. The only thing that was making Austiin feel remotely better about this was that Cameron looked horrible, and was obviously not here to gloat about how perfect everything was for him now. That being said, Austiin couldn't help but feel worried about him, and that just irritated him. He wasn't supposed to care about Cameron anymore, he wasn't allowed. Cam made it clear that they weren't ever going to talk again and Austiin had just come to terms with that a few months ago. This was so not fair. If their roles were reversed, Austiin doubted Cameron would have kept the door open this long. Austiin quickly shut his mouth when he realised it was hanging slightly. This was shocking, especially since Cameron did an entire song and dance about how he never wanted to see him again and after Austiin went to him numerous times to reconcile, Cameron always refused. What was Austiin supposed to do? Hang around forever and try to deal with Cameron's irrational behaviour? No, he had to do other things and move on. This was not the best time for Cameron to spontaneously decided that he wanted to be back in Austiin's life. His shock slowly turned to irritation. After all this time, Cameron was allowed to decide whether they can patch things up? What had Austiin been trying to do for the past two years? He sent letters, visited and tried to talk to him at work, but everything was a miss and all he got was Cameron's dissatisfaction. The brunette was over all of this. He just wanted a nice, simple, quiet life. Stability was his lover now, not the chaos that always followed him and Cameron.

Austiin's face darkened further when Cameron spoke. He gripped the door and slammed it shut in the blonde's face. It was too little, too late. Austiin had burned that bridge and was not going to rebuild it. He walked back into the lounge room and put Oliver with his sister. Tommy came walking down the stairs, and stared at him sceptically. Austiin knew all too well that Thomas strongly disliked Cameron. However, even though the boy didn't say a word, Austiin knew that he didn't approve of his behaviour. The man growled and motioned for Tommy to go back up stairs. He was so going to regret this, Austiin could feel it in his gut. He swiftly walked back to the door and tore it open. By now, Cameron was probably leaving, but Austiin wasn't looking at him, he was staring at the wall. "Get in." He wasn't all too friendly, either. He was angry, this wasn't fair on him. He left the door the swing open, allowing Cameron one last chance to get lost. Once back in the lounge, Austiin began packing once more. obviously Cameron came here to do something, Austiin just wanted it done quickly.
