Jackson arrived home two hours ago, he had very little time to tidy up the apartment and make dinner. Abilene should have been home from another quidditch match soon. She had been gone long enough that he had already missed her. Jackson did not take the night shift this time, even though a colleague asked to replace him. But Jackson should have been home waiting for his girlfriend. At first, Jackson wasn't thrilled that Abilene was gone for so long, but such was her career. If once he loved and he had decided to be with a quidditch player, then all that remained was to be at peace with it.
Tidying up the apartment, Jackson went to the kitchen because he had decided to make dinner what Abilene liked the most. They had already been together for some time, and in the meantime he had gotten to know the woman again, but also learned a lot about her. While the food was cooking, Jackson set the table, as she had to be there soon, as the clock on the wall in the kitchen indicated.
