Misha Corvey had no problems dressing up for no occasion at all. The newly blonde woman decided on a lace drop neck with mesh, in a stunning red color to show case her recently dyed locks. She wanted to look perfect, and her parents were impressed with her want to look like a fully grown woman - as if she was an adult going to a friend's wedding rather than a teen attending a wedding with her first boyfriend. Her father of course was the most hesitant, but her mother was excited for her and saw this as an opportunity for her to practice her skills of being a lady.

Her mother apparated her to the meeting point, and there the two ladies waited for James and his parents to come pick her up for the wedding of Jame's uncle, or grandfather, or whichever relative it was - Misha frankly didn't remember and didn't care. As long as it was fun and there was good food she was excited.

James wasn't a big fan of his Uncle, he truly was a boring man but by some miracle the man had managed to convice some poor woman to marry him which meant the Cade family would be hosted a big family wedding as only they did. The only issue, the traditional venue for such events was their Grandfather's house but ever since his death the house belong to Ezra, Ezra was hosting a wedding. He would be taking all the credit and all the attention without so much as lifting a finger, typical Ezra. The good thing about the wedding however was that he was able to bring a date and he just so happened he had someone to bring, though it was perhaps not who he'd prefer to take.

Having agreed to be his date James agreed to meet his girlfriend Misha at the meeting point just a couple of miles away in the nearest town. As per his Granfather's, and no Ezra's rules. Strangers were not allowed to apparate within sight of the house. Elitest paranoia was one of many things Grandfather had passed onto Ezra during his brother's upbringing. He arrived at the meeting point with his mother and when he saw Misha his draw almost hit the floor. Misha was newly blonde and that combined with her dress made her look stunning. Why did their mothers have to be there with then? "Hey Misha," He smiled at her as he approached her. "You look, incredible,"

Misha smiled upon seeing James, and her mother introduced herself to his, and discussed details, sleeping arangements if the wedding ran too late and how to Owl. "Thank you." Misha whispered, trying politely not to interrupt the two women gaggling behind them. "May I say you look pretty great too, as always." Her deep blue orbs settled into a happy glow, her dimples prominent on her face. The teen had light traces of makeup that her mother had done, lip gloss, nail polish, and of course some mascara. She felt like a woman, even if she was still young.

Once the two mother's were done talking Misha wondered if they'd be aparating. "I can't wait to see this place. I've never been to a wedding. Promise you'll dance with me at least once!" She admitted excitedly, before asking for a dance far ahead of time.

As his and Misha's mother began discussing the finer details of the visit and that left he and Misha to talk. As she complimented his appearance and added it was like always he grinned and straightened his tie. "Thank you very much, I thought I'd go all out for the occasion you know," He always liked an opportunity to wear a suit, it made him feel good, made him feel a little more grown up than he actually was. He looked over at his mum and she signaled that she was ready to go whenever he was, he nodded to her and turned back to Misha.

James was glad to hear that she was excited for the wedding, he was excited to have her there, to show her off a little. He grinned when she mentioned dancing, "I've only ever been to on other and that was a lot of fun, but as for dancing, you kidding me, you'll have to drag me off the dance floor, we can dance all night long, any excuse to get my hands on you," He grinned and stuck out his tongue at Misha.

Misha laughed a bit. "Perhaps then you'd wanna fix your hair." There was nothing wrong with his hair, but if Misha didn't tease James a little then she just wasn't herself. The teen girl continued to grin through his talking about loving dancing. Misha was the same way - she loved music though and that attributed to her love of the dance floor, even if she was a bit goofy and awkward on it. The girl lined up with the mother and her date to the wedding and away they went.

At this point the American mixed blood had apparated enough to not be made queasy by the sensation. She instead was placed on the ground with the same demeanor as before, sure in her posture even in the heels her mother had bought for her. Misha glanced towards James and gave a grin. "Well shall we, Mr. Cade." She referred to him by his last name and giggled - it was a silly thing to do, act as if he were an adult. Misha offered her arm out for him to take, and waited to be lead into the festivities.

James's eyes widdened in horror when Misha said he should fix his hair, "Why? What's wrong with it?" He said frantically trying to straighten it out. "Hey my hairs perfect, that's not even funny," He nudged her and grinned at her. It wasn't long before his mother came over to the two of them and was ready to apparate them the rest of the way to the house. He hung on to Misha and took his mother's arm and they disapparated from their spot. James had apparated a few times so he was used to the sensation that came along with it.

Landing just on the edge of the footpath that led up to the house James released his grip of his mothers arm and of Misha. He straightened out his suit and checked his hair, just in case. The wedding preparations were going on in the back and guests would be taking their seats at any moment. Misha offered out her arm and James grinned at her, "We shall Miss Corvey," He said taking her arm and leading up the path and round to the back of the house. "We Cade's sure know how to throw a party," He said taking in the party atmosphere.

Misha giggled at Jame's reaction, caring about his hair was something endearing about him at least - after all Misha was a fashionable woman and to have someone who cared about appearance by her side was a benefit. Even if she and James were young - barely to the stages of pecking on lips and holding hands, Misha always thought about the future. Her parents taught her to look at the bigger picture. So she did - always looking ahead.

The brunette woman adjusted her dress once more, the expensive material slightly itchy against the parts of her skin not covered by a slip. one day she'd make a dress that wasn't so darned uncomfortable. "You do, wow." Misha smiled, she'd not been to a party this big in ever. The closest thing was the time her parents took her to a huge art museum in California. The woman took paced steps, excited to meet everyone.

James nudged Misha playfully, she knew he was sensitive about his hair so he didn't appreciate being teased about it, but frankly when she looked as stunning as she did, she could do whatever she wanted and he wouldn't hold it against her. Misha seemed impressed by the party when they made their way round the back, the look on her face was priceless, he had seen the look before on newcomers to one of the family parties. He stiffled a laugh as he led her through the party. "Yes well my family isn't known for their subtlety, if you think this is big you should see our fourth of July party, hell you should see Christmas, if you think the tree in times square is big you haven't seen ours yet," He grinned at her.

By the time they had had arrived everyone was taking their seat for the ceremony. He led Misha to their designated seats and his heart sank when he saw the name on the seat next to Misha. Ezra Cade. His brother had been the one person he wanted to keep Misha away from. Clearly the powers that be, or at least the wedding planner was working against them. He motioned for her to take a seat and James did the same, hoping that Ezra was off somewhere making out with the flower girl.

Ezra loved weddings, mostly because his family ran a large social circle and any wedding he attended featured a large variety of available girls he didn't share blood with. His uncle's wedding was no exception. After spending the first hour of guests arriving in a closet with the bride's neice (they weren't family yet), Ezra emerged into the crowd, smoothing out his suit as he made his way through the wedding guests, some family some not. The elder Cade already knew where he was sitting and who he was sitting with and he couldn't be happier. No doubt an attempt by their mother to force her sons to get along, he would use it a chance to check out the girlfriend James had talked so much about.

The Durmstrang student made his way over to where the ceremony was being held and walked down the aisle to where his seats were. They were a little too close to the front for his liking, preferring to be at the back where he could cause trouble and not be seen but he would make do. Ezra made his way across the row and stood in front of James and his girlfriend. He completely blanked his brother and turned to the girl. "Ezra Cade, the pleasures all yours," He said flashing a grin at the girl. She was utterly stunning and far too good for his brother.

The difference between Ezra and James were cleared when the brother approached the two of them. Misha whom had been about to inquire if she was going to be invited to Christmas, was interrupted as a shadow stood over her. The blonde turned her head and smiled at the boy, standing from her seat to give a respectful handshake. The better she appeared to the whole family, the better off she was she felt. "I would assume it must be, since I'm here with your brother." She responded, insinuating that meeting him was not a pleasure in any way - which thus far she was unimpressed and it was not.

James watched the interaction between his brother and his girlfriend with amusement. He had to admit he had been dreading the moment the two met, Ezra always seemed to have a way with girls and he had wondered if Misha would fall for his charms. It became clear quite quickly that this wouldn't be the case. James grinned at his brother as Misha brought him into the conversation. "Oh dear brother, it appears as if your charms are broken," He said struggling to contain his laughter.

Ezra had to admit, the girls reaction to him was a little surprising, but anyone who was dating his brother clearly didn't have the best taste in guys so he brushed off her words and turned his attention to James. "My charms aren't broken Jamie, clearly your girlfriend is defective," He laughed then scanning his eyes around their surroundings. "So can you believe Uncle Eddy actually got some poor girl to marry him, she must be after his money, not that he has all that much," He flashed a smile at his brothers girlfriend. Ezra hadn't completely given up on dazzling the girl.

Misha choked back a laugh. Defective? Okay, that could easily be deflected. "Defective? My word, such big vocabulary for such a little man." Misha then turned her full attention to James. Her mother had always taught her not to be offended by belittling comments. She was beautiful and strong like her parents - and knew better than to allow someone the satisfaction of knocking her down. "James, what do you think of weddings?" She inquired. Misha was not thinking of marriage, she and James were too young - instead she wondered if he liked being with his family in events like these.

James couldn't help but smirk at Misha's excellent handling of Ezra.He had to admit he had been a little worried about his girlfriend meeting his brother. He trusted her, but Ezra had a certain way with girls and the idea that he might charm her away had crossed his mind. James chose not to chime into their conversation and just listened, Ezra would no doubt try to brush her words off, but she clearly won their verbal sparring. James chimed back in when Misha turned her attention back to him. "Hmm, I like weddings, mostly for the party, nothing is better than a wedding party,"
