Tugging at the tie that was wrapped neatly on the Gryffindor robes upon the body of a first year, Matt Greene felt like he was just way too formal right now. Matt hated ties and anything that resembled anything like that. He tugged and tugged until it was in the regular, limp form and he left it there on his chest. His robes were not fastened and he was glad that he looked somewhat normal. Well, he was not used to wearing robes, but this was the nicest clothing that he had now, even if they were used before. He did not mind that at all. He continued to explore the grounds of Hogwarts and found himself inside the castle once more. Everything in here was just so weird. He was heading up to the Gryffindor common room when the stairs changed on him, and he had to go another way. On the second corridor, he continued to walk until he saw something that captured his attention. He naturally knew nothing about Hogwarts New Zealand, or even Hogwarts for that matter. There was a room that captured his attention, and he wondered toward it. Matt wondered if there was something there that could entertain him since he did not know where the others he had met were at.
The room itself was decorated with trophies that were here since the first year that Hogwarts New Zealand opened. Matt found himself in awe as he looked around, wondering who made all of the trophies. He looked to see who had the house cup, and maybe that was why there were houses. A competition in something called house points. That seemed a little redundant but this was the school and it could do what it wanted, when it wanted. Matt had no say over the matter. He looked over the other trophies and wondered if one day he could ever win something. He doubted it but it would be nice to show off to Mason once he arrived here. Matt continued to look over and saw that Gryffindor once had a winning streak, and then last year were pummeled by Slytherin. He wondered if that was going to be the same this year. Shrugging those lean shoulders, he continued to explore the area, hoping to find something more to shoot for, except learning. He did not look forward to learning any magic since it was just so different.
