Watch yourself

Things were weird for Georgina, she no longer played Quidditch and she was studying for her OWLs. She'd never been one for studying but all of a sudden it was all she did, especially during the second semester, the exams were on the horizon and she had never felt so much pressure. She decided that she needed to get out of the common room and get some fresh air, so she threw her books onto her bed and made her way up to the main castle and out to the courtyard. The fresh air was nice and much needed. Georgina rubbed her eyes as they adjusted to the sunlight, with her eyes temporally covered she didn't see the girl walking towards her and bumped into her. "Hey will you watch where you're going!" Georgina snapped at the girl.

When Ray had left the castle that morning, the sky had been overcast, the threat of rain enticing her out for a walk around the grounds. Unfortunately, the clouds had quickly dispersed and rolled away, and now the sun was beating down on her pale face like the stupid burning ball of hydrogen and carbon that it was. Rolling her eyes, Ray made quickly back up toward the castle, arms folded tightly across her ribs. She was half way across the courtyard when suddenly she collided somebody, who snapped rudely at her, as if it was her fault the girl hadn't been looking where she was going. "Speak for yourself!" she shot back, finally looking up at her face. Oh. Georgina. A flicker of guilt crossed Ray's features, and she skirted her gaze. "Sorry. I should have... looked where I was going."
