[Lauv Bao]

Hearing about the fact there was a halloween feast was certainly a moment in which Bao decided she would try her hand at making a costume, however, she'd only gotten so far when the date had loomed and had in the end begged her sister to send her the remain parts of the costume that she needed which was essentially all the rest of it. She had put great care into the final bits and pieces, adding the armour to the costume, adding the bow and the arrows, all fake and that wouldn't hurt a soul. The girl was smiling to herself, she liked how it had turned out, it was a little extravagant in some places, perhaps others wouldn't go this much into the costumes but she had wanted to, it had felt almost vital to her to make a good first impression at the first school event, after all the rest of the school had not yet provided any events. Quidditch was certainly not up Bao street. The girl stepped into the great hall and found herself for a moment just looking at the different things the room had on offer, it was a more extravagant halloween than she had ever seen, though that wasn't that many. She could hardly believe how amazing it all look, how truly happy she was to have this opportunity at the school to enjoy how amazing it looked, she was so enthralled that Bao was barely moving forward.

Lucia was having somewhat of a hard time adjusting to her new school but she was hoping that she could have fun at the Halloween Feast that was supposed to happen that night. She didn't know what to expect but as soon as she entered the great hall she saw how big the school celebrated the holiday. She looked around at everything, slightly overwhelmed and unsure where to start, but she decided to go to the refreshments table to grab some candy and some punch. While she was there she saw a girl from her year wearing an elaborate costume. "Hey, I like your costume," Lucia said with a small smile. Lucia thought of her own costume and how plain it was, especially in comparison to the other girl's but she still liked it anyway.​

It was rather odd, Lauv as she glanced around the room at the costumes realised that hers was perhaps a little too elaborate than most others, there were a lot of parts to her costume. She felt like she needed to impress, she needed to have a costume that was elaborate, there was no reason why she thought this, but Lauv did and so she did as she wanted with her costume. The young slytherin glanced up when a girl walked up to her and said that she liked it, Bao smiled graciously and nodded her head, "Thanks," she accepted the compliment before looking at the girl's own costume, a cheerleader, that was pretty interesting as a costume, she wondered briefly why Hogwarts didn't actually have a cheerleading team, perhaps quidditch was the sport that didn't really require one. The chinese girl smiled at the cheerleader, "Yours is lovely too," Bao returned wondering how long it had taken for this girl to find a cheerleader outfit if the school didn't have one, she wondered how common it was to find, "You're a slytherin right?" the girl asked, sure that she had seen this girl before in her classes.

Lucia smiled appreciatively when the girl complimented her on her. "Thanks," she replied even if she didn't fully believe it herself. Now that she saw how elaborate lots of people's costumers were she was going to try and go all out the next year but for now she was fine. Lucia nodded and said, "Yeah I am! Are you?" She felt a little guilty asking because she felt like she should know, but there were so many people at this school it was hard to remember everyone's faces. "I'm a first year," she said, hoping that would be a good enough reason as to why she didn't know who everyone was just yet. ​
