Wanna Make A Change

From the moment he had met Kyle kissing her, being with her had been exactly what he wanted but he didn't expect it to happen, not after she had put the breaks on so early on. Casey had harboured some hope of her changing her mind but not so quickly, but he wasn't complaining too much, instead he held the tighter while he kissed her, he half expected Kyle to break the kiss and run out of the apartment, but she didn't, she continued the kiss, deeper, with more passion which Casey matched. The time seemed to melt away from him until eventually she pulled away to catch her breath. He rested his forehead against hers and they breathed together. It was everything Casey had hoped it would be and more, the lights faded but their passion did not.

Light streamed in through the shades as morning broke, Casey rubbed his eyes as they adjusted to the sudden brightness. He lifted his head slightly and looked at the figure sleeping on top of him. Kyle was naked as was he and the two hadn't moved from the sofa even after the lights both inside and out had gone dark. Casey brushed the hair away from her eyes and kissed her forehead. He leaned his head back with a smile on his face, it had been unexpected but it had been amazing.

If Kyle were to be honest with herself, she'd admit that she'd not slept this good in months. Her parents had let her past boyfriend stay the night by the time Kyle was sixteen - though it was all innocent. So not sleeping next to someone after doing so for a long time had thrown off her sleep cycle a bit, and caused her many restless nights. After sharing the slightly drunken passionate night with Casey though, she slept like a rock, on top of her companion at that. Kyle felt movement beneath her, and that coupled with the sunlight peering through the window woke her from her slumber, though she didn't move right away.

Chocolate orbs adjusted to the brightness and opened and shut many times. The crimson haired woman only lifted her head when she felt him kiss it, and she smiled. Slowly she rolled to his side, clutching the blanket around her and watching him. "Good morning." Kyle said in a sleepy voice. "How did you sleep?" She inquired politely, in a way dancing around the idea that she'd given way to inhibitions that she'd thought would be gone for an eternity. There was no guit though within her heart, she had no obligations to stay celebrate after ending her previous relationship - her only guilt was now that she had possibly dragged Casey into her little mess.

Casey had hoped that he wouldn't wake Kyle up, the girl look peaceful as she slept on top of him, but soon after he had stirred slightly underneath her she had begun to do the same. He smiled as she greeted him, "Morning, I slept fantastic," He said as he brushed some of the crimson hair out of her eyes. It was true, he hadn't slept as well in a long time, something about spending the night with Kyle seemed to have put him at ease, but he didn't know where it left them and he was afraid to ask. She may have been laying naked on top of him but there was no way of telling what was going on in her mind.

It was no secret that Casey had wanted it to happen since they met, he was worried that in the cold light of day she would regret it, and even feel taken advantage of. "Kyle, are you ok, about last night?" He didn't want to ask but he had to be sure she didn't regret it now they had sobered up. Casey hoped that she would be ok, and that the previous night would be there start of something wonderful between them.

Adjusting to make herself more comfortable than before the woman looked at him with a crooked expression. She hadn't expected the question and felt more comfortable answering once dressed. Carefully she removed herself and slipped back into her clothing while thinking. Her silence didn't last long, after she'd gotten her undergarments on she began answering. "I don't regret it, if that's what you want to know." Once she'd gotten her clothing straightened up the rest of the way she sat back down on the sofa. "I have a lot to think about and there are a lot of things that... go into this." She sighed. "I like you and while the drinking probably helped to ease things along, I think that maybe I needed this to shake off what's been following me. Am I making any sense?" She inquired.

Casey nodded along while Kyle talked, though he was a little mournful when she began to get dressed he decided to follow suit and picked up his own clothes and threw them on. He was glad to hear she didn't regret it, that was always a good start, but what was clear was she was carrying a lot on my mind, from back home most likely. Was it all to do with her ex, the guy must have really done a number on her for her to be so reluctant. "I get what you're saying, kind of. I like you, we can take this any pace you want, admittedly things jumped ahead a few steps last night but if its what you need we can slow things down, get to know each other better, whatever is best for you, maybe just with a little less wine," He laughed but he knew there were some serious things she had on her mind. "You don't have to tell me, but you can you know, whatever happened back home, I can take it,"

Kyle listened to what her date, lover, whatever Casey was speak and nodded along until he reached the end of his sentence, then her nodding became shaking. "Listen you're nice, and I'm glad that you like me but what is going on back home is a huge mess I don't want to get you into. It's between me and my previous relationship okay?" The crimson headed woman took a stand on her feet and looked around for her shoes, wherever they may be. She found them in a few short minutes of silence. "I have to get back to my flat okay? I've got work to catch up on that I'd planned on doing last night and obviously never got around to." She sighed. "But uhm, owl me okay? Maybe we can meet up later in the week for coffee or a movie or something." She shrugged her shoulders, obviously not keen on talking any more about the fact they'd had a wine induced night of passion - at least not keen on it yet. Awkwardly Kyle shuffled to the door and smiled. "Bye Casey." She whispered before moving out the door and apparating herself back home. She needed to get her head on straight, and it needed to happen soon.
