Wandering Along the Shores

Justin walked along the sandy beach of Bondi, knowing that he would have to go back to school soon he made sure that he could make the most of what free time he had. He was glad to be away from the school, quite frankly he found it to be one of the most boring places he had been to in a long time. He was lost as to how he had ever got Prefect, though he did well in class. Justin smiled as he walked along the beach, taking off his shoes and sitting down on the sand.

Justin was at home on the beach, he was happy to be able to get away from all the trivial matters of life. He would be happy if he could meet a few people out here, but he would be happy to just have the day to himself. Justin knew that people would think he was strange, and even that he didn't belong here, but he was used to people teasing him, or shunning him, he would ignore what they say, and it only mattered to him what people who knew him thought.

 

[Lucas Sturridge]

Lucas wandered along the beach, kicking a stone as he went. As it plopped gently to the water he took one last drag from his cigarette before dropping it in the sand and proceeding to step on it with his shoe. Lucas was so happy it was finally time for a holiday. School was so pointless for him, he failed nearly every subject anyway. He had however taken a liking to the dark arts, but he never came top of the class even in that. Lucas wasn't a brains guy, his twin brother took care of that. Lucas was just a stuff up, a prankster, a criminal.

He had only one thing he was proud of in his life, Rhianne. He hoped he would see her these holidays, since she was attending Hogwarts he could only see her during school breaks. He looked down on the crushed cigarette and let out a sigh. He had promised Rhi he would quit, but it was too hard, especially when he was away from her, he just had no motivation. Luke kicked another stone, this time it was sent a few metres ahead where it hit a young man sitting in the soft sand. As he realised Luke ran towards him "Sorry mate" he said, retrieving the stone from the sand.

Justin looked up as he felt something hard hit him, realizing it was a stone he sighed slightly, he didn't like it when people threw things at him, but it had probably just been an accident. He stood up and looked over at where a dude that looked as though he was his age was walking over to him and apologizing, he smiled over at him, "Yeah, yeah, that's fine. No harm done." Justin said, examining the spot where he had been hit, and he saw no mark.

Justin walked back over to the man, he didn't look like anybody at Beauxbatons that he knew, but he didn't seem like the Hogwarts type, so Justin guessed that he had to be a Durmstrang. Justin had never met a Durmstrang before, so it excited him at the chance to meet a new person. He sat back down on the sand, and looked up at him, "I'm Justin, by the way." He said, winking up at the boy, wondering what he would do next.
