So i'm FINALLY thinking of getting my Tattoo on the side of my left foot.
I don't know what to get quoted on my foot

These are my favorite quotes by Lao Tzu and i want your opinion

Reasoning:
I tried to take in to account where you'll be having the tattoo. The side of your foot is a small canvas, so I ignored most of the longer options.
I also tried to make them foot-relevant. (For example: "If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading " )
You'll note, however, that I did not vote for "The journey of a thousand leagues begins from beneath your feet" (despite the obvious foot-relevance) and that would be because it's sooo cliche and getting a cliche tattoo is the worst idea in the world.

I'm not going to vote but I will tell you why. I have a few tattoos and will be getting another once I return from a trip to Europe so I have a bit of experience with them. I know that a lot of people will tell you that your tattoos are stupid or meaningless (which is actually quite offensive) but you have to get them for yourself. Having people vote on it defeats the purpose, especially if you are getting "Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is enlightenment" tattoo'd onto yourself. You need to know what will make you happy at the end of the day and what you can look on fondly (after the pain, peeling and general grossness has subsided).

I can appreciate what you're saying Alexis.
Though, it's not like it's open suggestion season on her foot (she's narrowed it down to her favourite quotations from Lao Tzu - pretty specific, and I imagine each has meaning to her). So if she wants people's opinions on which of many routes she takes that's not so bad.
(By the bye, if it was open season on her foot I would come up with far more hilarious things. )

These Quotes all mean something to me and as you can see my list is very large...
I want to know what people think, for the reason of people are going to see it and have their own opinion anyway
And I don't want to go to cryptic Incase no one understands

I agree nick some are a tad cliche

I'm narrowing down my choices from what people have suggested currently

I have a size 9 foot aswell so think of it as a medium
