The Headmistress loved dances, she had decided. The Yule Ball was a lot of fun, but also a lot more formal than a Valentines Dance. Ava had enlisted a lot of help to set up the Great Hall in the cheesiest Valentines Day get up. There were, of course, twinkling lights set up around the Hall, little cupids flying around, and hearts, lots of hearts every where. The House Elves had outdone themselves, and all the treats and food were in different shapes, the colour theme easily red and silver.
Ava welcomed the students into the Hall, the smile never fading at the giggling girls, noting the difference between certain students, the shy and awkward ones, and also the bold ones who had already started dancing. She even saw a couple of students that still had their roses that had been handed out earlier. It was safe to say that it was going to be a grand night.
