Hilde Lindstrom did a quick once over of her dorm room. She was packing up for the short summer holiday that she was going to have before the fall semester at University began. There was all of three weeks that she was going to be gone from her dorm on the campus outside of London where she was training to be a healer. She was positive that she had everything packed into the small suitcase she planned to take with her to visit her boyfriend, but it didn't hurt to take one last look -- and it was a good thing she did. Her favorite pair of dress boots were still in the corner next to her closet. With a groan at her own incompetence, she quickly packed them before heading out the door and down to the apparation spot.
Landing on her feet in her boyfriend's town, she straightened her clothes before heading down the street to find the potions shop that he was running. Each step closer to him brought millions more butterflies to her stomach. Normally, she spent her entire summer with him, but this year Hilde chose to take advantage of summer classes to get ahead. Too soon, the short walk to his store was over and she was standing outside, watching him through the front window. Shane Zhefarovich was as gorgeous as ever. Hilde realized that she was silly for being nervous. They were meant to be together, and her feelings had not changed over the last 7 months that they had been apart. She straightened her clothes one last time before she entered the shop and waited to be noticed.
