Kaede let of a seething aura as she walked up the stairs. She had just run into some pigheaded boy who thought he could treat people like pieces of trash. It had taken all her self control not to slap him across the face. She wasn't angry because he had said something mean to her, she could care less what he thought of her, because he wasn't just plain worth it. But she was angry because of the many people like that boy that she had encountered the first days of school and her whole lifetime. The only reason they were so mean was because they had some issue about themselves, and they needed to take that out on someone else. That gave them no reason to treat people so meanly either. Slytherins call muggle born children mudbloods, but I think that's because they can't think of anything better to say than comparing us with mud, she thought to herself. Seriously, were they so dumb that they couldn't think of a wittier comeback? Or are they too scared?
She had no fear of Slytherins and their mean ways. Personally she did think they were to scared. Most of the mean Slytherins she had talked to only rolled their eyes or said stupid comments like "mudbloods." It's like they didn't have anything better to do with their time than make fun of other people, but really make fools of themselves.
Kaede knew that not all Slytherins were bad, she had met a ton of them that were some of the nicest people she had met. There were just those few that had sticks shoved up their butts all the time too notice how stupid they really looked.
She sighed loudly and leaned against a wall with her books in her arms. She knew she couldn't change people, they had to do that themselves. Until then though, she wasn't going to put up with their bullying either.
